Great fun. Made very welcome. Lots of friendly banter, which made it a special night for the family. Good food and wine very reasonable price. Will make it a regular for us to go back to.
Great service. Entertaining and friendly staff. Delicious food and wine.
A wonderful night here. Warm welcome, lovely team add to the enjoyment. Fabulous burrata and heritage tomatoes to start and delicious cod. My friend's steak from local butcher Macken Bros. was delicious, perfectly cooked and huge! A great ambience and highly recommended. We will return.
Quantus is a lovely intimate restaurant serving good quality, interesting food. Excellent service and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Short but decent wine list, great cocktails. A real neighbourhood gem. Above average and we will definitely return again soon. The owner is charming and attentive with out being overbearing. Highly recommended
Atmosphere for the restaurant was excellent. As for the food, almost all was fine but I felt something unusual. I may felt it as I am a Japanese chef. If I have a chance, I will be the repeater.
There is nothing wrong about this restaurant but it is also nothing special for the price range. Places like Eneko have menus at similar value and the food is exceptional, whereas the food in Quantus was not flawless. I was the “lucky one”
since I seemed to order the best dishes in the menu: the sweetbreads, the grilled octupus and the nut cake. My husband ordered the Heirloom tomatoes salad and the tomatoes were tasteless. The chimichurri steak was ok, but far from the best. The same could be said from the crab cakes. The worse thing however were the deserts. My husband ordered a panna cotta which almost needed a knife to be eaten, and my friend ordered a chocolate mouse that had an off smell (we all noticed) and hence did not eat it. In addition when we arrived the restaurant was full but nobody had been served which resulted in us having to wait very long for the food. The service was very pleasant though and the octupus and nut cake were very good
Birthday celebration was made even better by the fantastic food and service at Quantus, will definitely be back
I’ve been here a number of times and love it every time. Food great, fab wine list, lovely atmosphere and service is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world! Will be going back soon I hope.
Had a very nice 3 course meal here. We both enjoyed everything we had and the wine was very good. Staff were welcoming and attentive.
Excellent food from good menu selection. Highly personal service with great attention to detail. Restaurant is intimate with relaxed atmosphere.
Great little cosy restaurant. Not fussy, just great service, food and wine.
It’s a place I can book and be pretty sure I’ll always have a good meal.
Lovely meal, really attentive and friendly staff - most of all really nice ambience. We had a table towards the back, felt intimate but not stuff. Staff all seemed happy and enjoying there work which is always a good sign. Have a couple of medicinal drinks at Evans & Peel first then you only have to walk 2 doors down to this lovely place.
Great food, wine and hospitality. Still my favourite restaurant in Chiswick.
Service is attentive, but not fussy. Food arrived promptly, and everything was very tasty.
Awesome as always.
Quantus is fantastic in every way. A real gem in Chiswick with great staff, consistently delicious food and wine.
Not the 1st visit. Food are always tasty and staff are helpful. The environment is very comfortable. Price got up quite a lot though.
Great restaurant with excellent, service and lovely ambiance.
We've have been going to Quantus since they opened in Chiswick. It's a true gem in Chiswick and the owners are most friendly welcoming as if you are family. It's a unique cozy environment with a high standard qaulity food service. The menu varies but they try and stick with one or two dishes that's always a success such as milanesa and the the nut cake as dessert. We come there a few times a year for celebrations or just , because we've missed them. Highly recommend to go there for a romantic dinner
Haven't been back for an age but it's back on my list of regulars for a good evening with good food.
Quantus is an old favourite of ours but we had neglected it of late... Leo and his team provided the usual warm welcome (consistency of staff is always a very good indication for a successful formula!) and the food and service were up to their usual high standards. If you are in Chiswick then give Quantus a try...
Went on a Saturday evening for my wife's birthday. Short menu but still lots of choices we would have been happy with. Food was seasonal and delicious, service attentive but non-intrusive. Restaurant has a small and cosy feel so good for couples and small groups.
Nice cosy restaurant in a side street off Chiswick highstreet. Very friendly n helpful staff. Good food, overall quite pleased. For starters we had soup n rare tuna with cilantro n nectarine. Tuna was very good although just 3-4 bites which was a bit small for the overall price. For mains two of us had Cod which was very nice, one steak was ordered n although it was requested as rare what came was a very chewy n grissly. Overall we were happy. The manager was very apologetic about the steak n gave a free coffee as compensation. Nice restaurant will go again to try it out again. Costly for 2coursees n then sides are extra.
Great evening, will return!
Lovely evening with great food and fantastic service
Always lovely food, great atmosphere and excellent service.
Fantastic food, great ambience, lovely service and wonderful hosts
A chic cosy getaway. Fresh ingredients and sophisticated cuisine with a light touch. We had the rare tuna and the gambas trofie pasta, both excellent and to be repeated when we return. The grilled octopus was the best I have tasted outside Greece and the miso cod very good. Friendly service with the right touch. The ambience that night was jolly rather than intimate which we enjoyed. Best of all, it feels like a treat without too much of an impact on the wallet.
We visited Quantus after sometime and found it now has a set style menu. It used to specialise in Argentinian beef but not now. There were good choices on the menu but bearing in mind that we had two courses coffee and only one bottle of wine the bill came to £95 per couple which for a local restaurant is a little hefty despite the quality of the food. It was very busy when we arrived but that did not make any difference to the service and the arrival of the food. I would return when the menu changes.
Excellent and varied short menu. Food beautifully cooked and presented. Great wine list. Lovely staff - there when you want them but not obtrusive. Recommended.
Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good value.
Wen there for anniversary dinner. Service there is outstanding. And food was good. Bit more expensive as I expected at the end. But overall experience is very good. Very friendly stuff and cosy and romantic place.
Excellent service good food we all enjoyed our evening hugely. Thank you.
Quantus has a warm and friendly atmosphere with service to match. Always welcoming, this local gem serves delicious food and a well rounded wine list. Starting with two house cocktails, we followed with the prawn and octopus starters respectively, each wonderfully presented with a balance of flavours. The wine was smooth and balanced and accompanied the second course of veal perfectly. With a bit of rocket and sides joining this dish, it was a very satisfying. We finished the meal off with the chocolate mousse with olive oil and digestifs. The atmosphere is comfortable, close but private enough to enjoy a personal conversation. The staff are helpful but not in your face. There is nothing I could criticise about our experience. I really enjoy going here.
Meals advertised as three courses for £34.50.
This did not include any real quantity of vegetables. Extra £3.95 for chips and £3.95 for beans. .
Thought £8 for a gin and tonic was a bit pricey.
The food was very good as was the ambience
Very nice restaurant, have been several times. Always lovely food, service and ambience.
Excellent food and service as always. A real local neighbourhood gem!
Went for Valentine's. Staff were exceptionally good. Attentive service without being intrusive. Starters were excellent, mains lovely. Had a lovely table and the whole evening was magical. Couldn't rate the whole experience better.
We've been to Quantus on a number of times and keep coming back because the food and service is always great. It's a quality dining experience in a relaxed environment and you are always welcomed like a regular. They never take your custom for granted. We will back soon I hope.
We had a nice table for 4 in the window and a lovely watermelon cocktail to start with. Three of us had an excellent prawn and crackling starter and we all chose and enjoyed different main courses. It was a leisurely and agreeable meal with good service on a busy Saturday evening.
