Friendly staff. Reasonably priced for the area. Nice ambience.
This is a regular haunt for business lunches. Quick, efficient service in the heart of the city, in relaxed but sophisticated surroundings. 👍
the best meal I have had in The City for quite a long time
Everything was just perfect
We had the 3 course special and the flowing wine offer. Fabulous food at amazing VFM. Really nice restaurant, interesting alcoves and seating. Would definitely go back another time.
Disappointing experience - the restaurant crams all diners into one corner rather than spacing them out across the floor, which results in a noisy, hot environment. Service was slow and frosty and we had to return lamb that was raw inside. Surprising for a restaurant that prices itself as rather upmarket.
Good for business meal. Good, discrete service. Good choice of breakfast meals to suit different tastes and appetites
Great location and terrific value. Really stylish building.
Great waitress. Really made us feel welcome and relaxed
Decent food but quite pricey for the quality
Ok service - not outstanding but acceptable
The food was sublime and the service was excellent everything you expect. The staff were very attentive and helpful, everyone had a enjoyable time.
I always conduct breakfast meetings at One Lombard - city institution and just love it. Guests always feel like they are getting a treat at the start of the day. The service is always impeccable and the food great.
We went on a Friday evening and we were old friends catching up so wanted some place quiet which is not easy to find near Bank on a Fri evening. It was the perfect choice for this!
Good solid menu, not too heavy or rich. Excellent dessert menu, similar to other restaurants but with a more flavoursome twist. Wine not overly expensive.
Classic brasserie food. Great location.
Very good food but a little pricy for a Brasserie.
Great breakfast place. Excellent food and staff
So disappointed. I am a regular diner at Lombard St and usually take business meetings there at least once a week. I had a guest from Australia and was hoping for high quality food and slick service. Instead she got shown to the wrong table causing confusion all round, we had to flag down waiters every time and worst of all she found a hair in her food, which immediately put us both off and was highly embarrassing.
The waiter apologised profusely and offered to make a fresh one but we’d lost our appetites by then. They did at least not charge for that dish but it was very disappointing.
Thank you for your review. I am very upset to hear that you had a disappointing lunch with us. I have shared you experience with the Chef and the team to make sure such embarrassing and disappointing experiences will not repeat. Please accept our sincere apology, we always aim for impeccable service and good food and on this occasion we failed. Kind Regards Augusto
Great location for a business lunch
All was fine. Aside from the rye toast which was so hard you needed a steak knife.
Breakfast time is a very busy time, there was a queue to enter the restaurant. The tables are waay too close to each other and the noise level is very loud. The service was very slow, we had to constantly ask for the menu, drinks and bill after. Is too stressful for a business breakfast.
Great location and can not fault the food. Lovely decor and ambience.
A rather disappointing experience, noisy, lousy service, cold coffee, won't be rushing back.
Dear Fiona, Thank you for your feedback. Please accept our apology for the poor experience you had yesterday during your breakfast meeting with us. I can assure you that it does not reflects our standards. I have shared your comments with the team to make sure such shortfall in service and quality will not happen in future. I hope to see you back soon. Kind Regards Augusto, General Manager
Food is so so, cocktail is delicious.
Good value for top London restaurant and unusual venue. Good ambience. Food average. Not the best service we've experienced in this high a calibre of eateries (was mentioned to the manager).
A bit noisey but lovely otherwise
Food was quite nice. Service was very average. Despite the offer on food the bill seemed to come out quite high.
Tables too close together, could hear everyone's conversation.
The service was dreadful will not be returning with clients
The tuna carpaccio starter was delicious, as was the Sauvignon Blanc (318). The salmon main course was cold and tasteless with not enough veg. Partly because the server stood for minutes with our food waiting for someone to take plates off his tray and put them in our table!
A stunning room, especially the Dome Bar. Menu has many options, with fish and seafood a specialty. All the food is excellent and, surprisingly, it is the bread that is most memorable. Service is friendly but professional and attentive
A great lunch was spoiled a little by a blast of cold air every-time someone entered or left the restaurant
We had a business lunch and the food was divine (very hearty and beautifully arranged salads) and the service was very good. I've given it a top review as it ticked all the right boxes for the business lunch and my client said he liked the venue and food. I am now looking forward to having dinner there soon and I will take my partner with me.
This is a great meeting place with good quality food unfortunately always let down by the cold, unwelcoming attitude of the staff.
Business lunch for two. Started well, food and service great. They put all the customers in one area which meant that a chat turned into a shout.. Only issue I have, the rest was great .. And will go again, but insist on a corner table....
A good buzzy atmosphere while retaining traditional ambience and quality.
Excellent all round. Great location. Good selection on wine list. Wait staff very good.
I am a regular visitor to the Brasserie at 1 Lombard. I am always very content afterwards. Quite traditional but I like that.
I go here for lunch, the menu is varied, the service and food is excellent and it represents good value. Wine list is well thought out but succinct and the cocktails are top notch. I also take my wife here when the occasion allows. All round great place
lovely food, fab ambience and friendly staff.... will def come back again.
This restaurant is in a very beautiful part of the city of London.
We had drinks at Fortnam and Mason in The Royal Exchange first which is wonderful.
Number One is s beautiful restaurant. The staff are seriously good. The menu is typical Brasserie and does not disappoint
It’s not silly money especially given the setting and quality of both food and service.
I’ve been a long standing customer and look forward to my next visit. A delight.
