Live Music on the Patio! Every Thursday-Saturday night.
Service was good, menu could be more interesting. Some things were great others needed more seasoning to elevate the dish. Would love to see some daily specials.
The service was terrible. We got our food way later others who came after us. Dan the manager gave us complimentary salads. We will give it one more try
the food was very good, drinks on point. unfortunately they were severely understaffed and everything took forever, the ambiance is great though and it wouldnt have been that big of a deal had we not had 6 kids with us, yikes! the burger was absolutely phenomenal. great addition to the pier village we will be back, hopefully by then they will have worked out the kinks.
Every order was messed up. Our food arrived at different times and the meal was mediocre at best
It was freezing with air condition blowing on us and they were not able to turn off or lower. Food was just ok.
I loved the menu and enjoyed the food but the service was not great and the food came out too quick. We ordered a margarita and it was so sweet we had to send it back. The lighting wasn’t great either but the food was yummy and the dessert was delicious. I would try it again.
I had the sea Bass it was tasty the cheesecake was awesome and available Gluten Free. Dine outside with music. Nice Bar and friendly Service
Outside chairs and table not confusion for dinner better for drinks but we chose outside for ocean view .
Loved this restaurant ! Outdoor dining was comfortable and beautiful.
Service was great and food was delish ! Enjoyed very much !
Waiter over an hour to even get a crudités ...
Food was good. Service was very slow. Had to ask multiple times to lower the music.
Tap water tasted funny. We ordered sparkling water, they brought club soda without telling us the sparkling water machine wasn’t working. Appetizers were great, mains were good, side of mushrooms not so good, key lime pie was excellent.
It was over 2 hours for a 5 person lunch.
Food was good but not extraordinary. Great bar scene and nice atmosphere. No salt or pepper offered for dishes.
Shrimp wasn’t cleaned for $18 cocktail. The food sat under a heat lamp for too long and was dried out and disgusting. And at first they say us when pkace was empty at bar area agains the front window where a family was sitting on bench playing on their cell phones. First and last time we’ll ever eat there
Location on the Long Branch boardwalk with an ocean view is great, however the food and service do not match the view. Service was slow, and food was average and not a good value for the prices paid. There are better choices locally.
Very pleasant outdoors. Good food. Waited along time for our drinks. They came after we were served appetizer.
Food so-so, service slow slow
Very nice place and good value. Food was good and not expensive. Nice atmosphere. I would go back and recommend it
Very disappointing. The hotel and restaurants have a lot of bugs to work out . Both margarita and fig and prosciutto flatbreads where surprisingly tasteless...needed salt. How could you run out of maraschino cherries for the whole hotel with 4 bars and restaurants? Have you ever had two children without cherries in a Shirley temple?
Lobster rolls where also tasteless and more like lobster paste. No chunks of lobster. Fries and drinks are good. Our waitress was very nice. Deserts are lacking. Not a great 55th birthday dinner.
Food was just ok and the place is nothing special.
100 Ocean is a welcome addition to Long Branch. It is part of the new Wave Hotel that opened up at the end of Pier Village. I met a friend that I hadn’t seen in a long time there and we were both impressed at how nice the dining experience was. The ambiance makes you feel as if you are on vacation at a high end tropical resort. The outdoor seating was so beautiful, with views of the ocean. We were greeted and made to feel very welcome by the attentive staff. We ordered the Burrata as an appetizer, which was scrumptious. We both ordered the Summer Harvest Salad as an entree and added steak to the salad. The salad was a combination of romaine, kale, cucumber, avocado toasted farro, cherry tomatoes and croutons with a delightful lemon basil vinaigrette dressing. The steak was tender and cooked to order. Everything was very fresh. The service was exceptional and one of the managers even came to our table to make sure that everything was good. He was extremely personable, just as the wait staff was. There was even a live performer that was playing some easy listening rock and he was very good as well.
If you are looking for a casual, yet elegant dining experience, Ocean 100 is the place to go. The prices are also reasonable and not overpriced, as many of the restaurants at Pier Village are. Don’t miss this gem.
This is a restaurant with potential!
Everyone was very nice and we were seated inside as requested due to the heat. Our server was very knowledgeable and made some recommendations.
However, the bar service was slow and the wine portion is one of the smallest we’ve seen. The appetizers were excellent however, we had not finished them before being served our dinner.
The ginger citrus chopped salad was exceptional with the baked salmon. Definitely worth the price. The mushroom pasta dish was OK. Aji tuna tartare appetizer was also very good.
The prices are what you would expect for a waterside dining restaurant however, a little more value for the money and a bit more communication with the kitchen would go along way in making it a relaxed, memorable evening. Instead, we felt a bit rushed as though they needed the table.
Let me start off by saying the food was outstanding. The Branzino was cooked perfect. The Crispy Tuna app. was off the charts ( I would order 2 of them for myself next time ). House special drinks were very good. Extremely unique. Only negative was we sat inside because of the heat and they had all the doors open to the outside, so the flies were zooming all over the place. But the food and service was outstanding and we WILL be back for another meal! one other bonus - free valet parking if you eat at the restaurants in house.
Sitting at the bar prior to dinner was very pleasant. Bartender was experienced and cocktails delicious.
At dinner ambiance was awesome, food good, and service very mediocre.
Dinner was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Appetizers (oysters, shrimp cocktail and spicy tuna crunchy rice) were spot on. Branzino, flank steak and the lobster roll were also splendid entrees. We overdid dessert - the ice cream sandwich is enough for 4. The key lime pie was also excellent. We enjoyed our dinner and cocktails outside and enjoyed a truly spectacular sunset. Staff is cheerful and attentive. I hope to be back many more times before folks find this newly opened gem.
Delicious food and impeccable service. Lovely meal with our two small children felt like we were on vacation in Miami. Highly recommend!
Had a very yummy meal!! Great spot outside right in front of boardwalk by the ocean. Loved the whole vibe! Great service too!
Went for dinner, wanted to sit outside. They said wait is 20 minutes. We waited 45 and when we finally sat the seats were like sitting on the floor. When we asked to move we had some obnoxious girl tells us there are regular chairs inside. When we ordered food it took like 40 minutes and we get the dinner before the appetizers. They took the food back and finally brought the appetizers. When they brought the dinner back it was cold. I don’t think they recooked new food either. We had many friends that went that night. They all got there bill chopped in half or some things free. We didn’t ask for free anything but they offered us ZERO not a drink or dessert on the house. Terrible service and bland food.
They need to get their act together. The servers and the kitchen are not in sync. It took over an hour and a half to be served and this is after we complained three times to two different managers. Getting a free meal is not what we set out to do. The staff needs to be trained better and communicate with their customers on a timely basis.
This was the first time we dined at 100 Ocean in Long Branch. We were cheerfully greeted by Dede the hostess who seated us at a table with an ocean view. Shaun our waiter took our drink order and shortly our drinks arrived. We both ordered a delicious egg plant dip with Zucchini chips. It was a tasty appetizer. The wait staff was attentive and Lindsay, the general manager, stopped by the table and introduced herself. Our main courses arrived within a reasonable period of time. I enjoyed eggplant and Linda, shrimp bruschetta. Both dishes were tasty. The ambiance is sophisticated and beach casual. I recommend outdoor dining with the ocean view. In all it was an excellent dining and cocktail experience. The prices were reasonable for a beach front resort restaurant. Special shout outs to Lindsay, Shaun, Dede, Guiseppe, and the parking concierge. We both recommend 100 Ocean. Oh and after dinner, we took a short boardwalk stroll.
Loved everything. They are catering to the Community and we love it! Add more fish specials!!!
Had a terrific 71st Birthday Celebration with great friends last night.. the service was impeccable and the food was excellent but the Pier Spritzers are to die for! Highly recommended! (Many Thanks to the restaurant manager who helped to celebrate my birthday with a champagne toast & a delicious cheesecake crumble to finish off a terrific dining experience)!
