101 Dining Lounge and Marina - One&Only The Palm
Kindly note that table reservation is for dinner only and not drinks and tapas.
Service was excellent, food was very expensive for what you get. Great for a chill drink
Dining underneath the music speaker is not fun. Live music was good but very loud through the speaker
The location is just great. However, we were very disappointed this time. Even though we had made reservations a few days in advance (through OpenTable) and the restaurant was not fully booked, we got a table near the toilets which we only noticed when a constant treck of people (none of them wearing a mask) passed directly by our table. Only after our complaints some of the staff started to enforce the mask mandate. Fortunately, we were able to move to another table.
The food was good with one exception: the totally overcooked monk fish cheeks which were advertised as special of the day on the black board.
We are in no hurry to return anytime soon, and in the meantime we prefer restaurants where the corona measures are taken seriously.
Wonderful outdoor venue - casual but smart. We had the fish - beautiful and some nice cocktails
Great service. Amazing food.
Beautiful location and ambience, extremely slow service but delicious food
One of the most disappointing service experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. First off: Open Table users should know that reservations made on this platform are for *inside* tables... despite there being no place on OpenTable to choose inside or outside. We sat alone inside while tables outside went completely unused for our entire 2 hour meal. The hostess refused to seat us outside.
Our server was completely incompetent. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir and it took her three tries to bring us the bottle we ordered (the first one was white...). The Maitre D had to keep returning to our table to clean up all of her miscues, like figuring out how I would like my meat cooked when she just neglected to ask.
We felt completely forgotten and ignored inside, especially near the end of the meal, when it took us over 30 minutes to get our check.
Excellent. The hostess and the waiters were friendly and professional. The food was outstanding. The ambience was elegant and romantic.
Absolutely nothing worth recommending aside the venue. The staff at the valet and the drop to the restaurant is really great. However, thereon the people serving you and the food is below par. You could have a much better dining experience say is Buddha Bar for example..
Im my case, it was Rajesh who was serving us he was not freindly or warm which is makes the difference in hospitality so frankly I would not bother to have a meal here again.
I don't usually write reviews however this evening was disappointing despite being a splendid venue so sharing my thoughts.
The service was very good, but the food was nothing special felt was so overcharged for what you got and not a massive none seafood selection the wines were also overpriced
Nice place with a nice ambience but not a perfect view in the photo’s. Not very a tentative in service. I ordered a special anniversary cake with wording that was never delivered to our table.
I expected a lot more than I got with this setting. All week I had been visiting different roof top bars etc with great times. The 101 let me down. The staff move about at hundred miles an hour not actually achieving anything. The service was slow it took 20 minutes to get drinks yet there were only 10 tables at the time. Half way through our starters the mains came out. The waiter removed my bread plate as I literally Had bread in my hand chewing bread.
The overall attitude of staff seemed like they are scared of the manager you can just tell and feel it in the atmosphere.
When the bill came the waiter asked abruptly if all was ok - being british I didn’t want to cause a scene and said yes. He turned and walked off no smile no thank you.
The food is great really tasty. But whatever is going on in the staff area is really letting this place down.
The views are good...only views you will see in the lounge are of the palm: the marina views are the other way against the back of the lounge only visible when on the bridge leaving 101.
Overall I will not return here there are many more places that offer better views, better value for money and a more friendly experience. A true let down seeing that it’s attached to one of the nicest resort hotels in the entire palm
One last thing. The cocktails are a let down. Especially the night at the movies cocktail. It came out with salted popcorn instead of caramel. The drinks are overpriced for what they are and what you receive.
Fantastic the view is beautiful and the food very good
Fancy restaurant. Quiet with a great jazz singer the night we went. Great food but a bit expensive
The 101 restaurant was the best place at the palm Jumeirah.
Excellent ambiance and service, however fine wine is aerated through a Corvin device because the bottles don’t move fast - not ok, other than that perfect
Es war ein gelungener Aben in einer tollen Location mit sehr gutem Essen. Service ist sehr aufmerksam.
Amazing experience - Unique view for an outstanding moment
Incredible and amazing place. As a dream ! Go go go
The view is absolutely not on the skyline (except the access to the restaurant). We went inside and we left. Nobody ask why.
Ambiente sehr schön .. essen top allerdings für den hohen Preis zu wenig !!!
Adoro questo posto ha una magnifica vista, servizio impeccabile e qualità del cibo e del vino in linea con lo stile One & Only! Adoro questo posto
Spectacular view of Dubai skyline, perfect for a romantic and schick date!
