The atmosphere of 14 hills is amazing - live music and decor is really great. However, the portions were not filling at all. We tried the chicken Kiev and it was such a disappointment. It was so dry. However, the prawns and creme brûlée were exquisite. It was great for a one off meal but would not come here again.
Ambience was amazing but food and drinks were way too expensive for what they serve.
We had a terrific night for our anniversary. The welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service were the highlight. We ate dinner, then sat at the bar, so we could extend our night. It really was an exceptional evening. Food was good, and the price was a little high for what it was, but overall no issues and I’ll certainly be back.
Beautiful restaurant with really nice staff. However, the service was slow! I feel like they pick and choose who they want to tend to. The food is on the pricey side but it is full of flavours.
Amazing food and a beautiful restaurant with stunning views across london. The waiting staff were so lovely and polite and the food was exquisite, especially the veg options. The only reason i havent rated 14 hills 5 stars is because of the reception ladies who are meant to be front of house and have (one would hope) some sense of how to greet guests or atleast have some decorum or knowledge on hospitality. The are very impolite, and give off very much ‘you cant sit with us vibes’ which is laughable for a restaurant. Unacceptable in this day and age and i really hope they get some training or help on how to rectify this because other than that our visit was great!
Service was very slow, had to try and command the attention of the waiter on several occasions, however staffs were very nice.
The food tasted very bland and very dry. The food did not qualify the price at all! Won’t be going there again👎🏽.
Excellent service! Food is abit pricey. The ambience is nice and make sure you take a look at the rooftop terrace
Very good and lovely environment
Perfect. Everything was good.Love it
The staff was both polite and extremely helpful, not only were they dressed extremely sharp but carried amazing personality and charisma. Beautiful location bringing the greenery inside almost reflecting being engulfed in a botanical garden. The food was filling and delicious. Lovely range of dietary needs and a variety of drinks to choose from. Great view no matter where you sit and amazing atmosphere throughout. Would definitely go again.
Food average, service quite slow, great ambiance. Ok overall
I don’t think I would go back and would not recommend this place to anybody . I made a reservation on Open Table. It was no where said that we must order mains. When we arrived nobody asked us if we were here for meal or drinks. We were seated at table and we ordered some tapas and cocktails from their bar menu. 10min after when we placed the order they asked us to move as we didn’t order any mains. We didn’t really mind to move and happily moved but then they seated us to a table that I would say is for 2, maybe for 3 if you’re very friendly but they squeezed us 4 onto little corner table from which you could not see the view or had any real sight to their decor, just massive pillar front of us. Because we already ordered drinks and tapas we didn’t feel like we have much of the choice than just stay plus we didn’t really want ruin our moods and start any arguments. we waited 45min just to get cocktails, food arrived probably after a bit over an hour so if they have time for a table you will end up rushing to finish your drinks and food. Later we decided to move somewhere else and we went to Follys near by.For us the view and service in Follys was 10x better than here.
I usually go to these kind of places for experience and view but it was very disappointing experience. Was not worth it. Just overall really, really disappointing.
I was rushed ordering the food by one waiter and was accommodated by another. Then overcharged for drinks.
Good looks great but wasn’t anything special so very overpriced for what it is. Staff and location were great though
Amazing experience, I’d definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone. Food and cocktails was delicious with top quality service and great view of the city
It’s a lovely restaurant; very good service and they have heaters and blankets and even hot water bottles. The food is good but there aren’t many choices. Overall it’s a nice place with good views and service.
Service was great and friendly nice staff however the food was below average. We were really disappointed considering we spent a lot of money and had a really nice meal in coQ d’argent thé week before. Really wouldn’t visit again. Save your money and go elsewhere !
Extremely slow service waited over an hour for mains. Chips were cold. But other than that food was nice.
Staffs at the welcoming desk with incredible attitude except Antonio who was amazing and made us have a great experience thank you 🙏🏼
Lovely location, decor, blankets and heaters outside on the roof terrace, efficient and friendly staff, delicious food and good cocktails. Very close to tube stations...
It’s only a tiny bit expensive, but we expect that for a fine place like this and the quality of everything. I would love to come back!
Excellent wine list, prompt and attentive service and fabulous food. Great view and location.
The outdoor dining is just not it. I took my boyfriend for birthday dinner, we sat at 21:00 and waiter came to take our order an hour later. It was absolutely freezing and we were given a table with no heating lamp. Waiters kept forgetting our orders, questioning our food choices as if it wasn't enough (we didn't take a starter - mains only and still got almost a £100 bill), the wind was blowing meals off the table, just not a pleasant experience for the price. A restaurant at this level could at least provide some better temperature protection if they decide to allow outdoor dining. The pineapple dessert was so sugared it was almost inedible, also for the freezing temperatures offering every dessert in a form of ice cream is an interesting choice. I truly hope the indoor dining experience would be better
I was mindful to reserve judgement as the issues I had were with the elements and the fact we had to dine alfresco due to Covid restrictions. However, the service was outstanding, the summer vibe cocktail to die for, the food good and the complimentary bread leaving a lot to be desired. I hope the next time I dine here, it is inside what is the very beautiful restaurant space.
Incredible view, great service, ambience and cocktails. Food was very good though could have had a little bit more for the price. Otherwise brilliant!
Simply breathtaking views, interior and wonderful service. Food a little underwhelming but you don’t notice
We had lunch there last week. I have always liked 14 Hills a lot. The restaurant is beautiful and the new terrace is also very beautiful.
However, the food was a bit poor. We ordered the lamb to share, the portion was very small. There was a lovely herby crust on the lamb, but the fat wasn’t cooked, so I couldn’t eat it. It’s a shame, as the bill came up to £145 (including drinks) and it could have been better.
I would like to go back, but I really do hope for improvements on the food.
Incredible staff team especially Kim Sin Tae - he took hospitality to a whole new level :-)
It said in the booking we would have a 2 hr slot and at 1.30 hours they told us to get up as the next customer is waiting.
This to me is poor service as we spend over 150£ and I don’t think we should be getting such service as even the food is not fantastic.
I wouldn’t go back as they were rushing us to finish the drinks and leaves
Considering it was the 2nd day of restaurants with outdoor spaces able to open, staff were on the ball & it was smart & smooth service from the waiter, sommelier and maitre d. The setting on the terrace is great, but relies heavily on the surrounding architecture for atmosphere, as opposed to the restaurant interior which is far more lively. However, I cannot grumble, it was lovely to be outside and someone else doing the cooking! Heaters, blankets for those not prepared for the weather, were readily available - however I would recommend they invest in more solid parasols!
Crab starter - nice, but not outstanding. Their Chicken Kiev is tender and tasty. As another reviewer said, it is a lovely restaurant in a brilliant setting and service is slick & the food is reliable , but not the main event. Wine list is worth a mention though - expansive with some unusual regions covered, and the sommelier very knowledgable - surprised this plus is not highlighted more on their website.
Very good. Waiters were extremely attentive
The food was great !Thanks to Antonio , our lovely waiter who
Made my bday dinner so special! My friends and I enjoyed everything! 5 stars ! Highly recommended!
we waiting 25minutes for our drinks and 15minutes of those was waiting to be asked what we wanted. The front of house was very polite on arrival however a couple of female waitresses thought they was better than us. Also like to point out you should let people no you are a cashless restaurant as nothing was said till we wanted to pay half our bill in cash and half on a card. They lady was very rude and said it states on the table which I replied to say it doesn’t it only states we now offer apple pay and contactless therefore implying you never used to not stating that’s the only method of payment. But we didn’t have a problem with it we was police and she was unnecessarily rude.
Great place, great ambience, great hosts. Thank you for a great time.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas - such an amazing experience. Service was wonderful and food was so yummy!!
We went here to celebrate our engagement. It was an okay restaurant but not worth the price. Also, I had put down in my booking that we were celebrating our engagement, this wasn’t acknowledged. We were also rushed to choose our meals because of the 2 hour time limit on our table (this was 20 min into us being seated).
I personally wouldn’t come here again.
It was our 1st time at 14 Hills and took advantage of a Brunch offer, overall good value with generous portions for the price, drinks and wine had good selection and were reasonably priced.
Comfortable seats, nice furniture & great decoration, very sensible table spacing and COVID guidelines being very carefully followed so we felt safe & comfortable.
I was pleased to be offered decanting by the sommelier for the wine choice which greatly benefited from more air despite being modestly priced, showing good knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile.
Really enjoyed it here loved the decor and would certainly return.
Daughters 18th . Waiter really made her feel special , Thankyou . Did ask to seat in booth but advised only for 5 people ......20mins later there were 4 people sitting there .....
First of all, we had asked in advance for a table with a view for our Birthday celebration. We didn't get one and we couldn't see any skyline from our table. Couldn't tell you if we were high up or not. The starters went down well and were really tasty. But, things went downwards when we watched our mains being sent to every other table but ours! By the time we received our food it was cold. We told the staff and got a discount off the food bill which we were thankful for, but it's left us with a bitter aftertaste. Ruined the Birthday experience.
