Food and wine were on point. Server was very nice. Only slight complaint is the noise of the boy racers driving past the front patio were we were sitting. I'll definitely go back soon but will sit at back of restaurant.

My lovely daughter treated me to lunch at 147 for Mother's Day. Our meal, server and experience today was nothing short of wonderful. And the carnation given as we left was a very nice touch!!

Our server was very professional and attentive. Three of us ordered the sea bass special and found it to be very pricey for what it was. The other order was the sea food pasta and it was more substantial and a better value. This dish was enjoyed. Overall nice atmosphere but would not rush to recommend on account that it was very expensive for what was received.

We arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation. Because it was raining I dropped my wife off at the restaurant while I went to park the car. Although the table was ready, the front staff refused to seat her until I arrived, leaving her standing at the front for 5 minutes, even though the table was empty. Food and service was good.

I had pre booked a table at the back overlooking the water front . They didn’t have any tables available for us when we arrived and we were given a bar top table at the front . It was noisy and the stools were not comfortable .

Loved 147 cause of the main three components of a great dining experience: decor/ambiance was glorious, our server and all staff were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. You can see the chefs working through a cutout to the kitchen! Our server Josh was top notch! He deserves and ENCORE and so do the chefs so we will be going back!

We made a res for 7:45 and arrived on time. We were suppose to have a high top but not available. Seated at 8:10 right beside the servers cash register and Fabinho the kitchen. Servers were at the cash T least every 60 seconds carrying on a conversation which we heard all of it. Very noisy. Tables so close together had to walk sideways to go to the restroom. Food was good. Our server Mark is new so was learning and did fine.

I accidentally booked a reservation for 2 when there was 4 of us. We were seated super quickly even with my mistake. Our server was amazing; he was nice, gave us our space but made sure everything was brought us super fast. We met the owner and he was great too. We had fried calamari and bruschetta to start. I got penne alla vodka (10/10), my husband got braised lamb shanks (10/10). My grandparents got the seafood pasta (10/10) and the ravioli (10/10). The portions were huge, we had lots of leftovers. After two apps, 2 expensive glasses of wine, 2 cocktails and 4 meals it was $200 and worth every penny. We will be back asap!

Honestly for the price of the food compared to the quality of the food it's not worth it, plus a decent wait for the food on a Thursday night was not ideal. Staff wise the place is okay and everyone is friendly. Noise levels were very high, so if you are looking for a nice quite romantic atmosphere then I would look elsewhere.

Incredible from the moment we walked into the restaurant until we walked out. Greeted by a very friendly hostess that immediately acknowledged my partners bday. The waiter was over and above. His personality and knowledge of everything on the menu was beyond exceptional. Will absolutely return!

Excellent spot right in downtown Barrie. No need to travel into the city with an establishment like this . We thoroughly enjoyed the arancini, bruschetta and charcuterie appetizers. The flavours of our pastas were entirely divine. The portions far exceeded our expectations. Fantastic find!
