Nice place but overpriced and staff missed course off our order. Some mains look to be above average.

We read some of the mixed reviews but went anyway and we were very pleasantly surprised, great staff food was one of the best Chinese we have had. We will be back when in Bournemouth

I lived in Hong Kong for 4 years and this is the best uk restaurant I have been to which replicates the food, quality and ambience of a quality HK restaurant. I’ll be back!

First class and very tasty food

The food and staff were amazing , there wasn’t much ambience because it was very very quiet but the decor is very nice . We were celebrating 2 birthdays and I had mentioned that in the booking, however there was no mention of it or any special touch that some restaurants do on such occasions. This has not put me off returning and I will definitely be going again soon

Not a massive fan of Chinese food, but 1805 is simply a lovely restaurant, delicious food well presented by friendly staff in very stylish setting. Will definitely be back.

The restaurant looked fine and the food was delicious- but there weren’t enough wait staff and the food took a ridiculously long time between apps and mains to come. It even took us a long time to get the bill. However the staff was friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t eat here if I was in a rush. But the food was satisfying.

Everything was perfect, Hostess was warm and very welcoming, waiters were very friendly and helpful, never waited long for our starters or main courses. 5 stars to all.
Will definitely come again, we are from South Africa.

What a brilliant Chinese restaurant this was! the wife and I visited Friday just gone for our Anniversary and I was pleasantly surprised with just how good it was eating here.

The portions were just about right and the drinks were very interesting.

Service was very good but restaurant was half empty on a Friday night and very expensive, food was ok not as good as first visit and probably won’t go back just not good enough value for money

Probably the best Chinese I have ever had, I especially recommend the sea bass.

When I booked this I did not think that I would be so impressed with the quality of the food all 3 of us really enjoyed our meal the service was good and the setting was lovely I would recommend this to anyone who is going to Bournemouth well worth a visit 👍🏾

Really lovely meal, round table , excellent service . Particularly good at recommending vegetarian options. Dim sum was very special. Definitely returning as was delicious . It’s more pricey than most but the service , food and ambiance reflects this .

Everything was amazing. This is such a posh restaurant. We had a set meal for 2 which was so delicious. Staff are friendly, we will be back next time down Bournemouth.

Nice place to spend the whole night, lovely atmosphere. Not cheap but worth every penny.

We had a such wonderful night at 1805. Very special cocktail pairing with the food. Staff are very friendly and professional. One of the manager recommended us try the Crispy duck salad which is amazing. Will definitely go back. Thank you 1805!

My girlfriend and i had a wonderful meal at 1805. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, in particular i would recommend the Mongolian Lamb. It was also very reasonably priced.

Great meal, delicious food beautifully presented. Only minor gripe perhaps the service, although attentive, was slightly rushed.

We are so glad tried this lovely restaurant. Warmly welcomed when we first walk in. Food are presenting nicely and tasty. We order a set meal for two with 2 glasses of wine, enjoyed every courses we had. Will book another table to try some other food next time.

A disappointing evening with dishes delivered to the table at the wrong time and one of our party finishing their main before others had been served.
Have previously enjoyed this restaurant but there were obviously problems in the kitchen.

Wow, definitely one of the top 5 meals I've ever had! The dumplings were phenomenal and the explosion of flavours from most dishes we ordered can't be faulted. Great experience and will always be returning here.

Lovely attentive staff, excellent choice on menu, food was delicious with the perfect potion size, good length of time between courses.

We were fortunate enough to visit over Chinese New year and were able to watch the terrific lion dance display.

Such a nice restaurant, we really impressed about everything. Food are very high standard, it is not like the fast food you can get from your local Chinese takeaway.
Good wine list as well.
