Named after the year the hotel was opened is Trump Turnberry’s signature restaurant in Ayr, 1906. With an unrivalled coastal location, and views stretching for miles, the chefs at Trump Turnberry take inspiration from the land and sea surrounding the resort to produce the dishes found on the 1906 menu.

There are few places where food, wine and location come together as beautifully as 1906, where the philosophy of “progress in harmony with the past” is taken to heart. Working closely with local suppliers, the Trump Turnberry chef’s have created the indigenous 1906 menu using a medley of seasonal, Scottish ingredients. Each dish featured is a classic, that would be instantly recognisable to any one of our guests over the past hundred years

The restaurant did not have a note of the booking although spoke to member of staff and confirmed booking after being made. Not a good start. Refilled pot of tea had cold water instead of hot water.

Absolutely stunning! We went for breakfast, service was exceptional, food was superb, the property itself was absolutely perfect... and then the views from the Dining room were as good as you will get anywhere. First Class from start to finish

They were apparently understaffed the evening we were there. Several dishes were dropped and services slow. Having that said the food that did come was prepared very well and tasted quite amazing. It was just not the white table cloth experience one might expect.
