    Food was great, service was good. Extremely noisy with loud music being played throughout in the bar, terrace and the dining area.

    This place is amazing as a venue and experience, it has a great vibe to it and the views over Manchester are amazing, the drinks menu is great! Our experience of the food was that it was okay the menu is a bit restricted for affordable choices and some things (, vegetables) where overcooked, also it's a noisy venue but that seems the norm, overall though a great experience.

    Over all just paying for the view, food was poor quality with limited choice. In love with the vibe so will be back for that but wouldn’t waste the amount we did on food again. Along with serval people around us had clearly bad experiences when it comes to the food which is a dimmer when you haven’t even ordered yet.

    First of all, the location and venue are fantastic, great views across Manchester. When we arrived, we were invited to go for a drink at the outside Terrace. Pleasant but it took an age to be served. There were QR codes on the table - not exactly what one expects at a top class venue. We then went to the main dining room. The table was good and the ambiance is nice. But the music was too loud and not soothing for background to a meal. We ordered scallops and prawns for our starters, which were both excellent. I had fillet steak for the main and my wife ordered the sea bass. The steak arrived just on its own - the sauce and fries were separate and extra. No garnish, no special touch - I’ve never had that before. The steak was well cooked and was a good portion but £10 overpriced I think at £49. My wife found the sea bass a bit tough and not the best taste. I wish she’d had said something at the time (but you don’t, do you?). We each had a glass of wine, which was good. The meal overall was expensive and 13.5% service charge is added automatically. The service was OK but no better or more special than at any other restaurant. All in all, the view aside, rather disappointing for a special, expensive meal.

    The starter was poor and my wife found 2 bones of around 2cm in her starter, told the waiter and he apologised The main course of Seabass was really good, then came the desserts I ordered the sticky toffee which was superb my wife ordered the Cropwell Bishop Stilton cheese board which had a £4.00 extra charge, when it came the cheese was just a small piece of cheddar with the apple and biscuits. We called the waiter and told him we ordered the Stilton (at an extra cost) and he told us it was cheddar now and was sorry. We told him that we did not want this as it was not what we ordered and he took it away and said he would take it off the bill. The bill was complicated and not itemised, when I got home I worked out we had been charged for the cheese also the supplement very poor

    View and service good, unfortunately the adage of inverse relationship between height of restaurant and quality of food is true of this restaurant.
