Service was good but a little slow at times as they only had one waitress on and the poor girl was doing her best to cope. She was very polite and professional!

There did seem to be several manager /owners about chatting, perhaps I can suggest that they help out a bit when staff seem up against it! It never hurts for management to roll up their sleeves and meet customers face to face. Just a thought!

A new discovery which could easily become a regular favourite. Friendly without being fussy, a lovely place to linger in. Well judged menu, very good food and a short but carefully chosen wine list.

We visited 27-50 in Covent Garden for an early dinner we enjoyed the oysters they were lovely and fresh. The service is always warm friendly and efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend.

CONS: Quite loud with rowdy groups, menu was limited and a little bland and quite expensive.

PROS: service was good and had a great Christmas feel/ambience.

Ate outside during Covid Tier 2 restrictions. The food was nice but not much choice. Unfortunately it was a miserable day and cold and grey. I would have thought the restaurant would have provided some heaters or throws or a complimentary drink as a welcome/thank you for supporting them during these difficult times particularly as we bought two expensive bottles of wine. It looked very nice inside and we would go back when things are back to normal. There was only one other party outside. The seating was a bit near passers by for my liking - I think it could have been set up better.

The experience was lovely, a great atmosphere and very attentive service.

The only thing that wasn't up to my expectations was the dessert I ordered "Apple and Blackberry crumble" which was cold and probably not even cooked. It was more like a fruit salad with crumble on top.

Apart from that, I would recommend the place and I would visit again myself.

Had a great time dining there! The service was great, relaxed and friendly. The food was really good. Not much option for vegetarians, there was only 1 main of i recall, but it was pretty good!

Had a lovely Hungarian red wine which did not disappoint!

28-50 has always been on my radar for awhile. And we went because we wanted to treat ourselves for lockdown and meet up with close friends.
Could not fault with the 50 percent off the bill, the food was amazing!
Arrancini and the burrata for me was the killer.
My friends enjoyed the oysters, seafood and many more , was such a treat and the Chocolate Mousse was just heavenly!
The service was so warm and welcoming at the door by a lady called Jen, she was so friendly and funny that we were impressed. Having worked in hospitality myself for more than 20 years, Jen makes the perfect host!
So impressed we came the second round and was about to book the third but lockdown came :(!

But they are very covid safe, everyone wore their masks properly and adhere to proper social distancing unlike some restaurants we went so we felt very comfortable there.
Nevertheless, we had a great time while it lasted and thank you Jen and the rest of the team for making our visit so memorable!

Fabulous experience from beginning to end. Friendly and humorous host on arrival, the waiting staff were excellent and the food was wonderful. Probably the best hummus I have ever tasted! The crab salad and steak were delicious, so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a lovely evening meal and wine, very good value at the moment with the 50 percent off food.
Food wasn't served hot enough however staff happy to sort it out.
Would definitely go back again.

We went to 28-50 using the Eat Out To Help Out scheme (50% of the entire bill). It's a lovely restaurant, decorated stylishly.

We ordered 5-7 dishes and split it between 3 people. Portion wise it was just right. The food however was lukewarm when it arrived - perhaps this is because we requested to have all the food at the same time (?) The oysters and the truffle mayo were very good- the rest of the food (salmon ceviche, lamb and hake) were average.

Happy I tried the restaurant with the EOHO, without it I'm not sure if it was worth it.

Great food and service. Music wasn’t to our taste and quite loud, however we are old duffers!
Value was excellent thanks to the 50% food discount. Without that I’d probably say it’s quite pricey.

Food was delicious, the tiger prawns and rib eye steak were amazing. Their menu is very limited and it was very dark wasn’t able to take nice pictures but other than that was very nice. Defo on the pricey side but worth it
