33 Abbeville Road
The very best in modern seasonal British fare is served on the 33 Abbeville Road menu. Our menu changes seasonally, but past a la carte favourites have included slow-cooked rabbit ragu, tea-smoked duck breast, and there are always plenty of indulgent sides and desserts.
33 Abbeville Road in Clapham is a popular weekend brunching spot, and also serves succulent Sunday roasts. Up at the bar, order from our house-created cocktail list filled with imaginative British flavours, or sample a craft beer of glass of wine.
A great example of an independent London neighbourhood restaurant, 33 Abbeville Road is a 9-minute walk from Clapham South Tube Station.
I visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and thought the food, ambience and service were all great. It has a lovely relaxed vibe - and is exactly what folks say it is 'a hidden gem'. I will definitely return if I'm visiting the area again.
I met for dinner with a friend we had really good food the staff were very attentive and very friendly it is a great restaurant and I would really recommend it

GREAT FOOD MADE UP FOR A WOBBLY START - Wasn't put in main dining room as there was a noisy party there, but in a little snug off the bar. Noisy party spilled into bar later which wasn't ideal. Place had more of a feel of a bar than a restaurant so a bit strange as we had booked it very much to dine, and a bit too informal therefore for my liking. We did arrive quite late after theatre about 9.30, (but that's not that late!) but felt that the staff were kind of finishing up and rushing, and it was a bit empty, all of which was a bit irritating. Was about to start feeling a bit like we had made the wrong choice when two good things happened: - 1) Charming and attentive staff started to make us feel welcome, the wine was nice and chilled, but most importantly 2) when the food arrived it was almost sensational! Ultra-fresh and interesting ceviche of sea bream & scallop, with chilli & coriander, and really tasty toasted coconut crumbs. Followed by very tender Lamb for my guest which was accompanied by the most unusual and delicious things on the plate such as turmeric hummous and something beetrooty. My fish was a miso cod thing accompanied by delicious pork belly and with pea puree and various other brilliant things. Apparently the owner is the chef and therefore is responsible for all this inventiveness with slight echoes of Ottolenghi . They need to sort the ambience out a bit if this is a serious place to eat (which it is), but taking all things into account one has to say 'Bravo, well done' and will definitely go back.
SUPERB!!!!!!! LOVED IT! T-BONE TUESDAY WENT OFFFFF!!
First time visit, will definitely return. The food was great and lovely atmosphere
We went for a quick lunch and got well surprised by the atmosphere, quality of service, it’s was quiet when we went, just loved it. So going back for a date night!
Popped in last Saturday for brunch to celebrate just getting engaged. We were kindly given a table outside which was perfect as the sun was shining and two complementary glasses of fizz (we said we'd keep it quiet but I won't as it shows the great service we had). Brunch menu was great and food arrived in good time and was very tasty. We could have eaten at a greasy spoon and it still been great given that mornings engagement however I am definitely glad we went to 33 Abbeville Road and will definitely return.
The food has consistently been excellent. We always have a lovely time and great service. Could do with being a little cheaper but great for those special occasions
Wonderful staff and amazing food!
Great cocktails during happy hour. Really lovely food in nice setting with very attentive service.
Went for my mums 70th and had a lovely time. Great menu and lovely quality food. Would highly recommend
Restaurant has a nice atmosphere but food was just ok and overpriced.
Love the restaurant, was the second visit to take friends and enjoy a great tasting meal
Really enjoyable meal and a really nice atmosphere
Great service, amazing food, I can’t wait to go back again...
Nice and cosy restaurant in a great location! Ideal spot for a catch up/quite conversation. Good range of food and good value for money.
Very good food. Great service. Great ambience and top notch desserts!
Lovely roast, one of my favourites in London. And really nice staff.
Had such a lovely last minute date night here thanks to OpenTable. The food, the atmosphere and the drinks where sublime. Service was very attentive and I can't wait to go back!
My son and I met here for breakfast late Sunday morning. The menu was great breakfast. The granola and smashed avocado were delicious, thank you!
Yet another wonderful evening at number 33. Highly recommend.
Always great, hard to find better value for money in the area. Menu changes monthly, seasonal dishes, very sparing portions.
If you can't get a table then try their other restaurant - 22 North Street
Great evening in a great place to relax and catch up enjoying good food and wine with our lovely daughter and her lovely partner
This has become our fav restaurant both locally but also in general. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the food is always lovely. Would highly recommend it for a couple or large group.
The food here is totally divine. Furthermore the restaurant was quiet and intimate which made it perfect for a good catch up with my mum! I'm not sure I would have felt the same had it been a busy evening though, the tables are quite small and close together so I would imagine it would feel rather cramped in that situation.
Nevertheless we had a wonderful evening and will be back
This was a genuine delight. Came here for our wedding anniversary. Food fabulous, service great. Wonderful ambience even on a Monday night. Will definitely come again. Plus its in a lovely location.
The Service is exceptional and the food is very nice, the place is very cosy and perfect for a date. The coktails are extremelly good too, highly recommend the Margarita. My only complain would be that it closes very early, we got there at 9.40 and in half an hour the place was empy and we were the last ones in the place which feel that you need to rush as they started tidying up the place
Great venue ... food was excellent and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere
The food was very good but the service and ambiance fell well short of expectations.
Fantastic restaurant and we had the date night deal with a bottle of red. Incredibly good service lovely waiters and most importantly fantastic food!
has rapidly become a great local hub that offers something for everyone, great team and dog friendly....what could be better
Great neighbourhood restaurant
Very nice neighbourhood restaurant, good value. The food is very well presented, and mostly very good or good. Atmosphere is cosy and still lively, service nice. Not worth crossing London for but great for people living in the extended area.
No 33 has become my favorite brunch pale in Clapham. Delicious food made with good quality ingredients, friendly staff and rustic setting.
Food good and service very friendly and helpful. Menu could change more frequently but has some interesting, successful combinations if flavours
Really gorgeous food and great atmosphere. Only issue is the service is rather slow, but that was fine for us as we were having a long catch up brunch. Might be hard for someone who wanted a quick meal! Would definitely come again.
I thought the cocktails were great but the food was average.
I eat here a lot, I must have come here 10 times for meals since last summer. Every meal I have had has been delicious and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Definitely my favourite local restaurant!
We had a great Christmas Eve dinner here. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend!
