Excellent place, amazing Breakfasts and fantastic dinners. I would recommend. Chef is top stars. The food was slightly cold, asked to just re-heat it. The Chef was nice enough to re-do the entire dish and even when it was cold it was outstanding! 5* thank you
Amazing staff and incredible food, can’t recommend enough
Staff very lovely and helpful. Gnocchi was outstanding but the scrambled egg brunch was underwhelming and just average. A nice spot to visit that also offers a lovely afternoon tea option, or morning tea if you prefer!
The staff were very nice but the whole thing seemed very disorganised. We went in and we told them we had a table booked yet no one asked for the details like our names, then someone sat us at a booth right next to a very loud party of six despite every other table being empty. Luckily the loud party left shortly after or else that would of ruined the lunch. Took quite a while to take our drinks orders or bring menus. Then was told couldn't do a cocktail as bar guy was on lunch, which is a bit bizarre for a place with a large cocktail menu. Eventually got snacks to share and my starter which was all lovely although the bread came out later than the almonds and olives as the bread went to the wrong table we were told, but then the mains came out while we were still eating this which i don't think is appropriate. And after the loud party of 6 left we were the only ones in the restaurant so really unnecessary. The burger and chips were lovely. The food and place itself are nice, in my opinion they really need a bit of staff training to get the service in order as it would make such a difference. Its not cheap either so service should be good to encourage people back. I would go again with reservations.
The shockingly slow service discouraged us from eating our dinner here instead we got a starter. The wine we wanted out of stock, the starters we wanted unavailable and had to beckon the waiters every time. We wouldn't return from this first experience which is a real shame as looks like a nice venue.
Great service and
Nice lighting, music, atmosphere and lovely seafood.
It took over an hour before the starter arrived and 1.5 hours for the main course, it was half an hour before our drinks arrived. The crab starter was very nice but small portions. The main course was cold and was not value for money.
We declined to pay the service charge and was told next time tell us beforehand that you are not going to pay the service charge. Odd as the reason we didn’t pay was because of the slow service and cold food. I didn’t see any reduction in numbers to support Covid nor any signage in toilets or within the building to remind people that there is a pandemic, no extra cleaning facilities in the toilets and no reduction in numbers anywhere. Will not be going there again.
Waitress was nice but whole thing a shambles. Took ages to serve food and drinks and food overpriced.
Owner was very accommodating and super friendly staff - gave my friend and I free desserts which were delicious. Will definitely be coming back
The staff were friendly and the restaurant decor is lovely, however the food was definitely not worth the cost.
Lovely restaurant, sitting outside was nice until it rained! Obviously this isn’t the restaurants fault and they happily moved us inside. The smell of the bakery was lush! I had an eggs florentine and it tasted so good, and was filling.
The service was okay, they could have been a little more attentive however they were lovely and polite.
Menu was completely different to advertised and extremely limited.
I asked if the squid was in breadcrumbs and was told no, then the waiter said he had no idea as didn’t like squid. Surely if you are serving only a choice of 4 starters to a busy resturant you would know!
The roast chicken didn’t look like roast chicken and skin wasn’t even on it.
Chips were so over cooked I hurt my tooth.
The waiter said he would take the service charge off for the chips
Lovely looking resturant but that’s it.
Cocktails aren’t as impressive as you’d expect. Strange flavour pairings and look pretty dull. Ribeye steak very thin, so hard to get a medium rare. Had to send my steak back. Owner offered a round of drinks which was great. Quite pricey but all I all very nice food
