Food was delicious and service was great
Took my family to celebrate an event. My mother loved it! She had never been (the rest of us had only been to brunch) and had a lovely time. Good combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options which is great because some of us are vegetarian. Staff was lovely. They had our table ready as soon as we walked in. We will totally be back.
The service was excellent and food delicious. I would definitely go back again to try the other menu items but the salad with the seared tuna was delicious and I would order it again.
Food is always good when I go. Fast services. Only disappointed in the dessert.
Great brunch place. Awesome drinks and food was delicious.
Amazing food and excellent service. My wife and I love the great selection of wines by the glass and the food is always wonderful. Try the chicken pot pie for a wholesome, delicious, walk down comfort food lane. My wife’s favorite is the ahi tuna salad.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Great view. Will definitely be back for more.
great food, lovely time and if youre a drinker - we LOVED our cocktails. Our waiter, Von, was awesome - for sure for how packed it was on NYE!
As always - super service and delicious food. This is one of my favorite places to come for lunch. But this visit was for a dinner and it did not disappoint. Great spot!!
Dwayne was an exceptional and attentive server and Chef Andre Poirot’s delicious, creative menu did not disappoint. The filet with lump crab was tender and well-seasoned and the salmon entree was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend 42 for any occasion.
Our server was very helpful to us in choosing out meal. Thank you!
Food and Service very nice. We consider it to be a fairly upscale restaurant. Your managers’ attire detracts from that ambience. Pot belly with suspenders holding up too small pants over a slightly soiled open collar white shirt just does not look right and detracts from enjoyment.
All good big crowd
Usually good but on this occasion, I ordered the soup of the day and it was not hot and not even warm.
Ordered the Poboy, which I have not ordered before and it was very marginal and the fries were cold as well.
Many Options, reasonably priced. Only thing better would be a connection between the menu & the Clinton's
1st time; will be back! William our waiter was great!
On a busy busy night it was a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. Food was excellent, vibe was exciting without being too loud, and service was spot-on. A great spot for a special meal.
Fabulous food and service. Could not believe how reasonable the prices are.
Very good food and service. Our waiter was just attentive enough, and the food was both delicious and plentiful at brunch. Well worth what we paid.
It was recommended to us and everything's was wonderful!
This restaurant is sensational! It's one of my favorite spots in Little Rock! The food is always wonderful, one can't beat the service. The atmosphere is always lovely! What 42 offers is what keeps me coming back. 🙂
This is a lovely restaurant with an entire wall a window on the Arkansas river. The menu is small but with a lot of variety to suit any diet. The food is good; the service is good. The prices are very reasonable, especially for such a great setting.
Great atmosphere, but the food was not warm once served.
Dewayne, our waiter was awesome!
I enjoyed the meal, but it wasn't as good as the reputation. I heard 42 was outstanding, but I thought the meal was just pretty good. The french onion soup was good, but not delicious, and the osso bucco was also good, but lacked some of the flavor I was expecting. Although the tenderloin and lamb also ordered at my table were very good. Service was good, enjoyed our server, JB. Great view, will come back.
Better than one would expect from a tourist site restaurant. The staff really cared-exceptional friendly, courteous and efficient. My friend raved about the fried catfish special. My husband like his salad very much and my friend and I each got the soup and 1/2 sandwich. The soup was tasty but I did not care for the quality of the turkey on the sandwich -kind of straggly pieces mushed together. Our water glasses were kept full and the soda replenished with out asking. All in all a very nice experience.
Took a large group, most had never been there and all were pleased with food.
Friday nights has a 3 course fixed price option.
Several did that and all was very tasty, others ordered menu items with good results as well.
Friendly attendant upstairs and friendly reception.
Overall a fun place that we visit frequently on weekends.
You can get a glimpse of the Clinton Library, an interesting place as well, a good hub for downtown LR
So, we went in for brunch and the older lady at entrance of Clinton center gives me a brochure and when I say we are going to eat instead of tour, she YANKS the brochure OUT of my hand!!! Extremely RUDE!!!
Then, when we get to restaurant, we have a waitress, I think her name was Carly after looking at ticket, she’s extremely rude to me! I wasn’t happy with food, she was never around, when she finally rubs by for a second, she just says in a rush, I’ll get you another tea, passes our table 15 minutes LATER with still, NO tea! I had to remind her and she says she’s busy, she will when Dan! There were 4 tables the whole time we were there!!!!
Everyone else was very nice!!!!! But, this woman was just awful, never able to tell her my food was not good so, I paid the bill and got out of there!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at 42. The staff went out of their way to make us feel extra special. Service was impeccable and we are still raving about the food!!! Thank you all so much for an exceptional experience!
Food was great. Ambience was great. Location is great. Service was mediocre. Waiter was personable. However he seemed more interested in the table next to us than he did us. Waiter forgot my drink order and brought it with dessert and I had to gulp it down. Not fatal but annoying.
Wonderful staff and fabulous food
Love dining here. Never disappoints
Came for brunch to celebrate my mom’s 71st birthday. Our waiter was wonderful and everyone loved their food. The views, drinks, ambiance — all great. Good value too. We will definitely be back!
No valet parking for Sunday brunch. My mimosa was flat. I mentioned it to the waiter (he did remove it from the bill). Monkey bread was hard; to cut it required a knife and fork. Crab cakes benedict had 2 asparagus spears as an embellishment; I wouldn't call it a 'side.' Probably won't do brunch here again.
We ate outside and it was fantastic. Great service and food
We love 42 and are always impressed with the meal and everything accompanying it.
My salmon was OUTSTANDING. My wife wants to return for the vegan meal.
Wonderful food and a lovely setting. The portions are large. Had the gazpacho and oyster sandwich. I am from New Orleans area but this was the best fried oysters I have had. Others had the salmon salad- delicious and large. Love this place.
Restaurant was unprepared for crowd for Sunday brunch.
Service was slightly slow. Food arrived cold. Even though brunch food was not hot, we ate it because it had good flavor. Atmosphere was good. I would give it a second chance.
The food is excellent. Usually service is good but they were slammed with many large parties. Fortunately the food didn’t suffer. The monkey bread was incredible!
