We went for the Thursday Night Prime Rib Special and it did not disappoint! Food, portions and price were very good and the atmosphere was quiet like you would expect from a restaurant overlooking a golf course! We brought my 90+ year old parents and they thoroughly enjoyed it, partly because it was quiet (they don't hear very well so noisy restaurants turn them off) but mostly because of the food and views. I almost didn't write this review because selfishly I don't want it to get too busy but then I decided it's worth the risk because they deserve the recognition!

Our group greatly enjoyed Prime Rib night which is on every other Thursday. For $38, you get an appetizer (the crispy brussel sprouts were really good), a Caesar salad, and the entree of Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All very yummy. There is a fish and vegetarian option for less money. For an extra cost, you can add dessert which was a delicious chocolate cake or brownie à la mode. Service was excellent too. A great night for our group.

It was too expensive for what you got. Very little selection. No fresh omelette bar or crepe bar. Just scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and fruit. They did have Eggs Benedict but it was cold. (Even a new tray was cold). Service was spotty and uncoordinated. For the price they charge they need fresh omelette bar and fresh crepes, waffles or pancakes. Probably would not do again until they improve

501 was a nice surprise, good value excellent service and golf course ambiance. The food was excellent and a very good value. We will definitely patronize the restaurant more often.

The restaurant was closed for a private event. Why did Open Table take my reservation?.? Not to be trusted source for reservations.

First time eating at 501. After attending a concert a few weeks before at the Shorecliffs Golf Club, I wanted to try the restaurant, which I didn’t know existed. Great time with friends. Sat outdoors, live music was great, view was relaxing amongst the golf course. Happy Hour menu was great. I would love to see more concerts like the one we attended with The English Beat and Common Sense. I highly recommend The 501 and I will continue to dine there.
