We also stock an extensive range of Irish Gin and Whiskey with tasting trays available to sample whats on offer.
Everything was beautiful except they never brought the extra portion of veg we ordered. Didn't realize until the end. So maybe not needed. Definitely go again.
Food was excellent and there was also a great variety of drinks to choose from.
Very busy and loud. Service was adequate. Food was expensive for what it was - veg in a cheese sauce. Wouldn't return in a hurry.
Even with a limited menu (New Year delivery delays) the food was delicious & enough choice for every palette. Service was optimal & drinks were great. Excellent value for money, we'll be back!
The atmosphere in 57 is so cosy and welcoming. The staff are a pleasure and the food was amazing, the nicest fish and chips I’ve ever had. My partner also absolutely loved his starter and main. I will 100% be recommending this to anyone. 10/10..
Easily the best pub grub I've had. The burgers were amazing. The staff were really friendly and service was prompt. We will absolutely be back to this cosy place.
The food was delicious and really good value. The wine options were very satisfactory and it was such a lovely space to be in. The only thing was that our party was big and were on a long table so it was difficult to talk to everyone. A round table for larger groups would be better however space may be to blame here. Food and ambiance wise it was 10/10! Thank you!
Lovely cosy pub, with brilliant Sunday Roast, everything is cooked fresh and very tasty. Very good value too!
The food was below average. There was no meat on the spare ribs. The paper sauce was solid. The menu was very limited - 2 fish dishes but both Hake. 1 steak choice. We won't be back
As per , lovely welcome , seated straight away , lovely atmosphere , good choice on the menu , I had the chicken wings & pulled pork burger with a lil G&T to wash it down :)
Super waitress / manager/owner (can't remember her name ) gave me 2 super Dublin slang pint glasses ! I asked could I buy them , she just gave them to me
super , super , super
Really lively atmosphere to catch up with friends. We weren’t rushed out, the staff were all very friendly and the food and wine were delicious. We all live near by and will be back again soon.
Really pleasant evening at The Headline.
We're already fans of the pub, but this was our first time eating there. Didn't disappoint. And they're well able to cater for myself, being Coeliac. Gluten Free didn't cause any issues.
Stayed for some drinks afterward.
Lovely food, great service, and good value as well. We'll be back.
The main courses were tasty but the mash potato was only luke warm. The desserts were terrible, we ordered a chocolate brownie and eton mess.
Every time I'm in Dublin I make sure to stop by 57 The Headline. Great food and great beer at very reasonable prices! Strong emphasis on supporting microbrews and small supplies and businesses.
Great bar with fantastic staff. Lovely laid back atmosphere. Will be back.
we are regulars here , and enjoy the nice food, friendly service, and good atmosphere,
the nibbles are a good idea and should be expanded
Great and novel choice of craft beers with many of them Irish, broken down by county.
Friendly service and tasty food.
Food was nice. We used a voucher so it was cheap , only problem was the steak was dry and pepper sauce was watery
Had a lovely evening. Upstairs, it has the ambiente of a nice restaurant with gin specialities while downstairs a cozy pub with 20 different beers awaits you! I will surely return. Very friendly staff should be mentioned as well.
When u book at 57 The Headline via Open Table you will be seated upstairs, which is more a lounge / restaurant type and not the typical irish pub that you would expect.
Beer selection is smaller upstairs, however you can go down and get your beer there for a better selection.
Food is good. Appetizers were average but the main course 'Fish' was excellent.
Amazing night at 'The Headline'. It is hard to find such friendly staff and well presented delicious meals that aren't a rip off. The atmosphere is lovely shabby chic lamps and perfect hygee like lighting, Only one small issue was quite cold.
Great place with lot of local beer. Friendly staff who is really helpful.
Apart from the great beers and gins, I particularly appreciated the vegetarian options and the cheery welcome of the staff. We felt immediately at home!
One of the best bars in Dublin. Food is great, Irish craft beers on offer are extensive and the staff are a delight.
Just excellent service with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Just brilliant.
Overall it was a pleasant experience however the pork belly was a quite chewy and not as expected! Excellent for a good chat with friends and lovely atmosphere!
They never received our open table booking however they had a free table so we were able to eat
Lovely food. Mainly local brewed beer which threw me a little without knowing much before hand. Lovely food and once you find the right beer you will have a good night
I have eaten there a couple of time and found it to be wonderful , only thing this time I eat upstairs and found it very dark , I have bad eyes sight and needed to 3/4 lil candles on the ledge so I could read the menu and see what I was eating and my lovely goat's cheese starter wasn't served with the super puff pastry base just cheese on it'd own with 2 tiny bits of bread , I did complain to to staff member she really looked run off her feet , other wise grand place to eat
1st time visit had a lovely meal & enjoyed tasting craft beer. Would certainly recommend to friends.
Good place, fine food and great ambient. Very recommendable.
Visited 57 The Headline on a Monday evening, before heading to The Script Concert in National Stadium. We checked menu on the website first - and we loved it.
Had Calamari to start and Burger for mains and both delicious and very tasty.
Staff were very pleasant helpful. The pub was cosy and a welcoming atmosphere.
Great value for money - there was an additional 20% on Mondays which was a bonus!
And only a 2 minute walk to our venue...
Overall, a very happy experience
Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, and the food was very good. Very good vale for money, and a lovely atmosphere.
Amazing place altogether! If you're looking for a few drinks with friends or a romantic dinner for two, you'll have a great time here. Food is fabulous for a very good value, lots of drinks to chose from - from beer to selection of gin and whiskey. Very cosy atmosphere, you won't want to leave!
Staff and service was amazing and the food was beautiful
Overall I think this place was unreal, the food was sooo good would definitely go back and service is really good and the place has a good atmosphere. If you want to go for food with a friend or group is is the place food is cooked to perfection.
I gave this venue a great review the last time but not this time. The food was very average. The chef must have changed. The calamari was very difficult to chew. My wife asked for her steak to be medium rare but what she got was north of well done. The homemade chips/wedges were al dente. My ribs were very dry and again overcooked. When the waitress saw how much was left on my wife's plate she asked was everything ok; I told her that about the steak. Her response was a cursory 'sorry about that' and no more.
As the other couple could not join us we asked the waitress if we could use the voucher the following Saturday as it was one day after the expiry. She asked the manger and quickly came back and said no. You would think that after the poor quality of food and having bought two drinks each before the 'meal' and a bottle of wine with it they would have had obliged.
Also, we requested a table at the window and was told they would make every effort to fulfill our request, but no effort was made at all. There were tables available and we took the initiative ourselves and changed table to one at the window.
lovely ambience.perfect for a date, Reasonably priced food. Very good service.
A really lovely evening, food is great and area for having a drink before and after the meal is comfy and relaxing. Our hostess was so friendly and that lady knows her gin!
Great pub good food fries to service and quite a selection of craft beers
