The Restaurant and Skylounge have a Smart Casual dress code. Jackets are not required however, no hats, athletic wear, shorts or flip-flops are allowed. Reservations are held for 15 minutes.

Enjoy panoramic views of Los Angeles with this reservation for our 3 course prefix menu in our dining room. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED for any reason, but will do our best to accommodate requests. No a la carte menu is available in the dining room and we kindly ask all guests to participate in our 3 course, $103.00 per person menu. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. No sports wear, flip flops, shorts or ball caps allowed. Children are welcome but we are a fine dining adult atmosphere.

My husband and I went there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We were first sat at a table across from the kitchen so we asked for a new table, as we didn’t want to hear the noise from it. We sat at the bar to wait after they said 30-45 minutes which was fine. An hour later, nobody came to seat us! We would have walked out if it had not been for the very nice bartenders who said we could order food there. They saved the day. The receptionist and female who sat us were like cold fish! Not the attitude I’d expect when spending $100 plus per person. Mind you, we were in wedding attire.

Our experience at 71 Above was great! Went for my girlfriend and I for our anniversary. Great view and amazing food. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

It was amazing! Very tasty food, beautiful restaurant, cozy and elegant atmosphere, wonderful view from the windows. Professional, polite, attentive, caring waiters. I recommend this restaurant to everyone🥰🥰🥰

Not worth the money at all. The view is beautiful, but that’s honestly the only good thing about this restaurant. I went yesterday for my birthday, my reservation was for 7:15. When we arrived, we checked in and got on the two elevators that took us to the restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were slapped in the face with the heat! It was so hot in the restaurant. We were asked to sit at the bar while they got our table ready. We of course wanted a seat by the window and noticed there was one being cleaned so I assumed that table was going to be ours. After 15-20mins, the hostess comes to take us to a table and it was not the one by the window. I requested to sit by the window as it was my birthday and i was really hoping to sit by the window. Instead of checking the hostess responded that, “everyone comes here for their birthdays and we can’t guarantee a table by the window.” I thought that was very rude. The hospitable thing to do would have been to check and see if my request could have been honored and then respond. I mentioned a table by the window had just been cleaned and i would like for her to see if we could sit there instead of the seat she brought us to. She had us go back to the bar to wait and see if we could be seated at the other table which we eventually were. Dinner took a long time too. We were there almost 3 hours for a 3 course dinner service. The food was just ok. You can’t have anything customized to your liking. It’s a set menu and kind of take it or leave it. Our waiter was subpar. He hardly ever checked on us. And then by the end of the service, i don’t even know where he went. He didn’t even bring us the bill. Gratuity is also included even for a party of 2. Maybe that’s why the service is lacking. Did i mention how hot it was in the restaurant?? My heart goes out to the servers who were working in long sleeve shirts! All in all it’s definitely a one and done kind of place. The views are beautiful, but it’s not worth $200 plus.

I was skeptical that this restaurant would be more about the view than the food. I was wrong! The food was delicious! Everything was super fresh with great flavor combinations. I recommend the wine pairing. Overall lovely experience, service was lovely and of course the view.

It’s been a wonderful experience, a great way to discover LA from the 71st floor. The service was great and so was the food, however I would have appreciate a table near the window. Being far from the view was a pity
