For the price the food is not worth it, you can get better at the local Japanese sushi shop in the mall food court. The sushi menu was too over imaginative with too many mayonnaise and the main courses very bland

We have been frequent visitors to 99 Sushi Abu Dhabi, but this was our first time in their Dubai venue and we were not disappointed indeed. The venue is stunning, spacious, lively, with sleek design and amazing views of Burj Khalifa. Together with Zuma, this is the best of the best of sushi in all of UAE, cannot recommend highly enough. Here's our all time favorite selection to get your mouth watered: salted edamame, capumiso soup, tiger prawn tempura, fatty tuna nigiri, salmon flambe nigiri, scallop flambe nigir, butterfish truffle nigiri, grilled foie nigiri. Other top choices include spicy tuna tartar, grilled eggplant, king crab au gratin, steak w galangal sauce, lobster maki. If you love Japanese cuisine, this is a must visit venue in the UAE. Thank you to Anna, Venky, chef Ruben and all the team for making us feel special yet again.

Service was not the best. Food order was taken but we were not asked about drinks. Had to ask for drinks and more drinks. I was never asked if I wanted another glass of wine for example!!

I am quite a fan of Japanese food, and to be frank, this is without a doubt the best sushi place in Dubai. The fusion concept with Spanish food (those yellowtail truffle nigiris...OMG) and the most traditional ones (that Tuna, yes, with capital letter), coupled with a great service, location and views...
I will be visiting them at least once a week for a long time!

The check-in and check out experience was NOT GOOD! When my guests arrive they said there was no reservation in my name when they had just checked me in 10 minutes prior. They never offered to validate my parking, the security guard reminded me. They also tried to ask me to leave the bar area when I was waiting for my guest who went to the bathroom after we paid the check. Better training on staff is needed. Food was great and service was good. Ambience was excellent

Seriously overpriced, average food quality.
Forced to sit outside on the terrace when the inside was empty as it was fully booked according to them, but still empty when we left!

The one of the best experience in Dubai, highly recommended for a business lunch or even romantic dinner. Very great food, fabulous hospitality and friendly stuff gonna make your full expirience unforgetable.

We had to argue as they wanted to seat us at the bar. The food was good, but not as good as we had experienced in our previous visit. The price is astronomical.

The senior service staff were quite rude. The junior ones charming.
Stunning sushi served with champagne for a Christmas Day treat .Open plan seating made me feel a little exposed for my solo dining .Good music from resident DJ .Excellent service .
We visited for the Omakase business lunch menu and it was outstanding. We love sushi and it was some of the best we’ve ever had. It was excellent value for money - we couldn’t believe the price! The waitress was an expert on the menu, sharing information and recommendations throughout the meal. Would absolutely recommend and we’ll be heading back!
