Food was amazing and atmosphere was pleasant.
Party of 5, we were all overjoyed at this dining experience. Mike our server was exceptional! Everyone will be recommending it to friends and acquaintance’s. Definitely on our "must do" again list!
A Mano had a great dining week menu! I was torn between many of the choices! Everything that we ordered was fabulous and we wanted more!

Was first night of dining week, so a little busy.
Server was good
Cocktails good, but but lag of 5 minutes between service of Martini and arrival of Negroni
Salad and dressing good
Calamari very good, but barely warm
Scallops overcooked, almost too dry, but pretty good overall
Pork schnitzel also a bit over done
Pear pudding delicious!
Lava cake good but uninspiring
Almost 2 hours start to finish - a little too long.
Overall, a nice dinner, and will recommend.

We had a wonderful meal with friends. Service was good and the food was excellent. The staff were welcoming and fun. We will be going back in the near future.

I love A Mano and am a repeat customer. We recommend it to everyone. However, I’ve been disappointed lately by some of the portions. I’m not looking for a gigantic bowl of pasta, but when you pay $20 for a bowl of 8 tiny ravioli that barely make up 3 mouthfuls of food and end up eating a bowl of cereal afterwards at home- it just feels wrong.
Amazing night out at A Mano. Service, setting and our meals were amazing.
This was our second visit to A Mano in about six months. It has become a favorite when we are in Syracuse to visit our daughter in college. The food is fantastic. I'm never really impressed by restaurant sauce outside of my family's homemade sauce, but A Mano's sauce is delecious. The service is always great. The busing staff is always on top of clearing your table and everyone is always nice. Highly recommend. Don't think you will be disappointed.

My husband dined here with two other couples for a New Year’s Eve dinner. We have visited this restaurant several times and always had a positive experience, The Food and ambiance are fabulous. However on this particular visit we had an issue with the service. Our server seemed very overwhelmed and was pretty rude to us. We asked to see the manager and he came to our table twice but pretty much blew us off and instead of trying to make things right acted as though he couldn’t have cared any less about our issues with the sever.
Went to A Mano for the first time for New Years Eve dinner with friends. Although they had a limited menu the varied choses were interesting and appealing. Can't wait to return for a more casual dinner and experience the full menu.

The food was delicious. Mike, our waiter was very attentive & was very knowledgeable about the menu. Wine was a little pricey but good. I would return.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant was very busy but this did not affect service at all. The only negative was that we were seated at a table towards the service wall - would not have been my first choice but was not a huge deal. Will definitely return.

The food, drinks and ambiance was great. I would definitely recommend A-Mano restaurant for a good meal at a reasonable expense. The only down side of the evening was that our wait staff was a bit too “familiar” (leaning over our drinks to explain the entree’s, and having an over-the-top “chumminess” that my guests and I didn’t notice at other tables where this wait staff serviced) and thus this staff’s level of professionalism is somewhat questionable. Additionally, a patron from another table who was totally unknown to my guests and me thought it was perfectly acceptable to walk over to our table and look at our deserts and ask what we were eating. She, too, was leaning over one of my guests food such that my guest had to gently raise her elbow to cover her food. Again, an act that I strongly doubt this patron would have felt privileged to do at another table. Of course, I realize the restaurant has no control over the peculiarities of its patrons.
Regardless of these two odd occurrences, the restaurant is definitely worth returning to for another good meal.
Nice ambiance; good food; server/waiter was great. Only suggestion is that they organize/straighten up the hallway to the restrooms.
My 5th time there, two friends and I went before a show,... we loved our dinners, a sourdough pasta with sausage and robbis- and chicken parm, all delicious!!! Thanks A Mano!
We always enjoy ourselves at A Mano. This is our fourth or fifth time back to the restaurant. As always delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. The service this time could have been a little better. A couple of times we were looking for our waiter. This was the second time we brought a guest with us to e A Mano. Our guest had the Pumpkin Cappeletti at our suggestion and thoroughly enjoyed it. We enjoyed another order of Pumpkin Cappeletti and the Chicken Parm. So good! We will be back.
I have been twice. First time was outstanding food and service. This time I brought friends who hadn't been. Food was mediocre. Mushroom dish had overcooked pasta and almost no mushrooms. Last time it was outstanding. If this were my first time I wouldn't rush back but first time was outstanding at every level. Service seemed rushed this time too and was less attentive. Will try again and see if 2 out of 3 will be outstanding. Perhaps it was an off night.
The food was incredible!
There were a group of 10 of us and they were easily able to accommodate us! On top of that the service was prompt and helpful! My wife and I shared the Charcuterie plate which was nothing short of phenomenal. And I ordered a pizza and my wife got the pumpkin “pillows” ( ravioli) and she loved it. She gave me one to try and despite pumpkin not being my thing, it was actually really good.
Her ravioli was hand made in house and had a lovely soft texture and the brown butter sauce it was served in was flavorful and delicate as not to overwhelm the pillows themselves.
My pizza was a special pizza they had for that night which had a special salami, house sausage, pickled chili oil and red pepper sauce w/ mozzarella and provolone.
The dough was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor to it, really good brick oven pizza dough. The sauce was incredible, it’s had a nice kick but didn’t produce any ogita (heart burn) for me at all. The salami was house cured and delicious, while their house sausage was savory with a hint of red pepper flake. Just a great quality and taste to all the ingredients. I’m sad we live so far from this tremendous eatery because we would be here all the time if we could.
For two people we got
A soda and an iced tea
And after tax and tip it was less than $90.00 which for us is incredible value and we left full, not hungry.
The interior is quiet and is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows for a great view. Lots of seating and the chairs are very comfortable. Our server made her self available, but scarce. She checked on us frequently but never made us feel interrupted and was more than accommodating with splitting the check several ways. Nobody’s drinks were ever empty and nobody got asked “how is it” with a mouth full of food.
She was 11/10!!
And after all that, not a single person had anything bad to say about it. 10 different people, all foodies except for two and 10 people loved it!!
Food was over the top delicious and the staff was FANTASTIC!!!
The lentils appetizer which my vegetarian friend ordered had a piece of dried meat in it.
Meat was not listed as an ingredient
We told the waitress she said that shouldn’t be there and left
The ice cream we ordered for dessert was half melted
The main dishes were overall tasty
They say they hand make the pasta
I didn’t think mine was handmade
The waitress was over worked and barely seen
It took a while to even take our order
And we had to ask for carafes of water at least three times before we got one
But finding something that did not belong in the food - meat in a vegetarian dish- is always not good
I can’t say enough good things about this place!! Their food is outstanding and the staff is all so wonderful. We’ve been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience.
The best Italian restaurant in Syracuse -- many of the pasta plates are those that you would find in Italy instead of the typical Italian-American dishes that you find at other restaurants -- but those aren't really Italian (no, you do not find Alfredo sauce in Italy or a pound of pasta served with meatballs).
Pop-up deli was a treat - thank you for all your efforts into putting this together!
We had a wonderful experience at A Mano. Both the food and the service were excellent and we were even gifted with a bonus plate of pasta from the kitchen as a birthday surprise. We will definitely be back to try the wood-fired pizza.
