An homage to 19th-century mathematician Ada Lovelace, Ada’s offers panoramic Potomac River views and features wood-fired prime steaks, fresh seafood and vegetarian fare. ‍ The 260-seat restaurant includes 160 indoor seats, including a 32-seat private dining room, and 100 seats on the outdoor patio. The stylish interior provides a warm, modern feel with 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and inviting booth seating. Went to Ada’s on the river for my birthday and our 43rd Anniversary. Matt was our server. He was great. Cheerful and professional. Food was delicious. The special scallop entree was normally a dinner entree but was offered for lunch this day. It was perfect in every way. The pork schnitzel was fantastic. The special Old Fashioned cocktail was very nice. All told, a rockin’ meal. It ended with the Caramel-Apple Beignets. Simply delicious and were comped because of our special occasion. Kudos to the entire team.

If you want a birthday that’s NOT special, go here. Our server had a bad attitude the whole time and our food came out in about 40 minutes. The food runners were the hardest workers though and always with a smile on their face. They should be promoted to the servers! Should’ve read the review for the birthday event on august 24:(

I have come several times and always have a good experience. My only suggestion is that they work on sort of valet parking or some kind of deal with the garage below or across from the restaurant. We spent $700 for dinner and would have paid more to the valet. I would even take restaurant patrons to be able to park at the underground garage if you have a reservation. Having to add 30 minutes BEFORE our reservation to find parking, then walk down to the restaurant is a lot. This trip, we had senior citizens, and it was a hassel.

Ada’s never disapoints!! Service and meal were both excellent. Our server Keith was OUTSTANDING! The ribeye steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. This is by far, our favorite restaurant in Alexandria!!

This gem of an establishment is CONSISTENTLY FABULOUS!! Everything about it , sphisticated but never pretentious , extraordinary food , fabulous location and unbelievable service. Hats off for the welcome and care of the team led by Chris including Keith, Rock, Devin and Sam. WOW LOVE THIS PLACE. Best restaurant in the DMV by far!!
