Afternoon Tea
Inspired by the warm, relaxed way of life and simple, stunning food of the Mediterranean enjoy a selection of vibrant and rustic tapas dishes, crafted from the very best seasonal ingredients, a selection of deliciously sweet treats and a glass of Prosecco amongst the spectacular, relaxed surroundings of the Manor with our afternoon tapas and no tea for me!

Our more traditional afternoon tea and sweet treats includes; a selection of light finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with Dorset clotted cream & naked strawberry jam, an assortment of sweet treats such as macaroons of the day, rose water & strawberry tarts - baked using juicy fresh-from-the-field New Forest strawberries and chef’s dessert pot special.

All with views over the neighbouring deer park, our choice of afternoon treats can be enjoyed in our Drawing room, bar lounge or out on our sun-trapped terrace.

Burley Manor is a lovely setting for Afternoon Tea - however, beware, as you may be given a table in the dining room, rather than in their comfortable and decorative lounge. I was most disappointed last week when I took friends there as they had seen my pictures of a previous visit (when I was seated in the lounge) and they very much wanted to experience the same. When I booked the Tea it was not mentioned that we would have to sit in the dining room and had we known this, we would have booked on a different day.

Nicely presented afternoon tea.
A good selection of sweet and savour items. Very pleasant lounge area with cosy arm chairs.
Staff were pleasant but could have been a fraction more attentive.
Good food and value for money, would come again.

Took my Mum for her 85th birthday having never been to Burley Manor before. We were made to feel very welcome; lovely staff and service. Great way to spend an afternoon and they even bagged up our leftovers for my son! Would definitely recommend to all. Enjoy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea and it was a treat to find a savoury scone included which was delicious!

Unfortunately, the weather was bad so a wedding party had to be accommodated inside hence the level of noise, this would not usually be the case.

We will definitely visit again as the staff were friendly and very accommodating.

The savoury tapas and Prosecco made a lovely change from sandwiches and scones ....delicious. Then, the sweets and cakes were amazing! Loved it

Extremely friendly staff. Prepared gluten and dairy free afternoon tea without prior notice and the selection was outstanding. One of the best afternoon teas I have had.

For the cost, the food wasn’t of a high enough standard, we were told we could change our sandwiches from the set menu but weren’t given any options to choose from. The waiter was friendly and accommodating but understaffed, we had to ask to be seated and once our order was taken we didn’t receive any service, I needed to go to the bar area on a number of occasions to ask for service. The building is nice, the interior is nice but a bit of a mismatch (unintentionally) of old and new. There was no atmosphere in the room, when we arrived we were the only ones there, another couple arrived later and a family but no background music or chatter left the atmosphere quiet and tense.
