Afternoon Tea at Centurion Club
The Centurion Club menu showcases gourmet British flavours with fantastic attention to detail.
Centurion Club is a 6-minute drive from St Albans Abbey Rail Station
Have been to many afternoon teas, this one did not quite cut it for me.
Did not like the open aspects of the sandwich, it proved hard to eat and somewhat messy.
Free flowing fizzy only happened when you managed to get the attention of the waiter . This should be topped up when your glass is running low.
In fact you had to ask for everything clean plates cutlery and more tea.
Just thing the specialness is missing.
I would not return nor would my other guests.
Fantastic yummy food, great staff!! Excellent service
Everything about this experience was great. I’m gluten free and forgot to mention this in my order. Ray sorted it out for me over the phone and then introduced himself on the afternoon. Staff were all friendly and helpful and food was great. We sat out afterwards just enjoying the peace and quiet.
having been before with a friend I didn't hesitate booking for a friends birthday treat. The welcome we received when we arrived was very friendly, we didn't have to wait long to be shown to our table. The choices of teas was amazing, the service was very good, food was to a high standard, we all had a very enjoyable afternoon.
Absolutely wonderful afternoon Tea, shame that ordinary decaf tea and coffee are not available, as this is becoming a lot more popular, it should be available (even if its from a tea bag)
