The food was really good and so was the atmosphere. we were seated immediately and everything was explained in detail.
The afternoon tea experience at the Corinthia Hotel was absolutely perfect, from arrival to leaving we was made to feel very special. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was amazing. Alex who looked after us was very attentive and polite.
So lovely. I would do it again in a heartbeat. The fresh flowers were really something special and our wonderful server.
Our appointment for afternoon tea was the first stop in London for our trip. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. I would highly suggest the Corinthia to anyone looking to experience afternoon tea in London.
We have tried several Tea services around London and The Corinthia Gad the best service by far. The only disappoint we had was that they do not let you brew your own tea - the tea you get on the pot has already been brewed and the leafs have been removed. I under why they do this, but I like my tea on the stronger side and mine was a bit weak.
That being said I can’t say enough about our wait staff, so very friendly and personable. I would bring my friends to the Corinthia over any other Afternoon Tea (including the Savoy!).
First visit to The Corinthia, first impressions of the hotel was how lovely the hotel is. Warm welcome on arrival. Dietary notes taken on board, thank you. Sandwiches were lovely & the cakes were delicious. I loved the marshmallows. We was left very disappointed when we was told after 1hr 30mins we would need to vacate. We had only eaten a few cakes, the sandwiches should of come out much quicker rather than waiting nearly 25minutes for them to come out. We knew we had a time slot there, but you really need to get the sandwiches out much quicker, so that you don’t feel extremely rushed eating the cakes. We did leave the hotel feeling rushed & disappointed we couldn’t finish our cakes. I must say Kevin the pianist is a great asset to the hotel.
We had a lovely afternoon tea and I could not fault it.
My partner and I made a reservation for Afternoon Tea at the Corinithia during our short stay in London. It was our first time partaking in this tradition and we enjoyed the service so much. It will be a memory we have for a lifetime. The ambiance of the hotel made us feel relaxed and while sophisticated the staff were very warm and welcoming. Every detail was considered and the presentation was beautiful. Of course, every bite was also delicious and our tea was perfect. Thank you for an exceptional experience!
Amazing tea, the best service I’ve had in all of England. A must do!
Great customer service, very fast to respond via email and answered last minute requests. Great food and lovely atmosphere.
Afternoon tea at Corinthia is an experience not to be missed!
A thoroughly enjoyable teatime experience. I can recommend it for a special occasion.
Fantastic all round as usual 👍🏻🥂⭐️
Attending for a birthday treat from my mother. It was perfect from start to finish
Everything you’d expect from one of London’s premium hotels. The food was staggeringly good, the ambiance of the tea room was simply amazing which was enhanced by the stunning piano playing and the staff were so pleasant and attentive too. It was everything we had hoped for and we weren’t disappointed. My only shock was that I had booked for two adults and two children but was charged for 4 adults which hurt a bit and I didn’t want to spoil the moment by raising the point.
It was excellent. We will definitely go there again.
I treated my mum to a 75th Birthday tea and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our servers were Violetta and Giacomo and they couldn't have been more attentive. Nothing was too much trouble from the extra sandwiches to copious cups of coffee. The service was impeccable, not to mention the tea and cakes were amazing also! The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas and felt very festive. The hotel strikes the right balance. I've been to tea at the Ritz and Claridges and must say I think The Corinthia wins!
Brilliant service and amazing food at afternoon tea. Our server, Eliza, was exceptional and knew the tea menu inside out and nothing was too much. The manager also spoke to us twice during our visit and made us feel very welcome.
We had an amazing Christmas Day afternoon tea. The food, drinks and atmosphere were exceptional.
Beautiful hotel and amazing food and service. Definitely will be returning.
We were treated like Royalty. What's not to like about the high standard of service at The Cornithea. Special thanks to the team for treating my 8-year old daughter as well.
Great selection of teas, sandwiches and cakes. Lovely room, even the piano player took requests!
Great afternoon tea. Second time visiting for tea. Lovely for a special occasion and amazing service. Made my baby son feel very welcome. Thank you
Very good service and delicious food. The Christmas theme was lovely! X
Nothing special service and food quality very bad
Our third time at the Corinthia and we loved it again. Food, service and the surroundings are all high quality. We'll be back
Fabulous festive afternoon tea! Service was impeccable, so friendly and attentive yet not overbearing in the slightest. Even accommodated the fussiest of eaters! Would highly recommend.
Four of us went to afternoon tea and it was lovely. Amazing ambiance and service. Highly recommended!
There's no finer place in London to have afternoon tea in London than the Corinthia. From the never ending and delicious hot tea, fresh fresh sandwiches and delicious pastries to the graciousness and high quality of service. Lastly, the delight of a live pianist at times and the beauty of decor and ambience always.
Another fantastic trip to the Corinthia. Made us feel so welcome. Great service from Marianna. Excellent festive afternoon tea - with so much food and tea! Also brilliant pianist Kevin from Australia; great ambience and excellent service.
Amazing food and lovely setting, would recommend to everyone
Our afternoon was warm, welcoming and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty, yet the sandwich fillings were not differing enough to suggest a Christmas afternoon tea! We loved the Christmas preserve yet was not able to make a purchase.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon/early evening and would recommend to friends. Thank you!
the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect..what really made the day special were the two servers we had:Elisa and Lars...simply it, they are ambassadors for excellence in customer service!!...Truly wonderful personalities with a genuine interest in their customer’s well being... My husband is a Senior Purser for a leading UK airline. His thoughts were that of being very impressed and would offer both these employees a job at the drop of a hat !..Thank you for a wonderful afternoon .
We was about 20 mins early for our table but was rudely told come back on time, not in a polite way. Once we was seated it was very nice dining area however our waitress had a bad smell of sweat. There was too many waiters and waitresses running around it was very hectic not calm
Amazing experience. The staff were amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Food delicious
Amazing staff and incredible food.
Fabulous time. Hotel all decorated for Christmas. Attentive staff. Happy to help with pictures. Doorman a star felt like a film star. Lovely sandwiches that tasted Devine. A real treat. Lived every minute
Service was great. Staff were awesome. I didn't like where they put the table for two. I felt like I was having tea in the corridor. Everybody was passing by. Table for two was located out of the main hall, which is very disappointing. Except that everything was nice.
We booked a festive tea at The Corinthia. When we arrived, our table wasn’t quite ready at our reserved time so we headed to the bar. The bar is gorgeous and we enjoyed cocktails and wine while we waited. On to the festive tea-we chose the champagne festive tea and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were a delight. To our surprise, we were offered second helping of everything but we were already stuffed. The service we received was top notch and the ambiance made it feel extra festive and luxurious.
