Amazing. My wife and I had a marvellous time. Best afternoon tea in town. Service and staff were first class. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Exceptional on every level
Brilliant afternoon tea, up there with the best in London. The staff were friendly and really helpful. There was a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. We loved the idea of having the cake trolley too. There was more than enough food and we had to take some away. We would return and recommend.
What a wonderful afternoon well looked after and fantastic food.
Absolutely brilliant, I've not seen service like it, will be back x
The staff were so friendly and accommodating, definitely will be going back
Great food and lovely service in an elegant room
Had such a lovely visit this week! The food was delicious, and the staff were so lovely. I didn’t manage to catch anyone’s names but everyone who served us was so attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and I’m sure I’ll be back soon!
The Corinthia has a wonderful setting for Afternoon tea in the Crystal Moon Lounge, the room is delightful with a modern autumnal feel with lovely flowers and chandelier in the middle. The Piano set in the entrance adds a touch of class and the pianist was very good, clearly passionate about his music. It was our wedding anniversary and we were congratulated upon entry and kindly given a cake slice to celebrate which was a lovely touch. Even nicer was the staff taking it upon themselves to change the cake last minute when the fact that my wife does not like chocolate came up in conversation.
The sandwiches were good especially the egg and truffle. All meat and chicken is halal however there was a ham option on the menu, a little strange, would have been nice to have been switched to beef instead but this was a minor flaw. The scones were warm and sizeable served in a lovely box to keep them warm. The clotted cream was lovely and smooth and the rhubarb jam preserve was a great autumnal addition. The pastries were delicious particularly the Tartlet and Religieuse. In addition the sharing cake trolley was a unique addition with the Financiers particularly moreish.
There is a healthy selection of teas available. The Mango Noir was exceptional as well as the Mellow exclusive black tea, The team proactively provide recommendations which is nice and also took a genuine interest in how we were finding the teas.
Having experienced many afternoon tea in London the service was exceptional and up there with the best. The staff were warm, welcoming attentive and professional with a real focus on the little things to elevate and make the experience special. They even asked in a really friendly manner if we would like to take any additional new items home but we were stuffed (although I do regret it now! :).
For anyone looking at the top afternoon tea venues in London, Corinthia should most certainly be at the top of the list.
First time having afternoon tea here, I read the reviews and decided this would be the perfect treat for my mother’s 60th birthday and wow, what a great choice it was!
Food was amazing and there was plenty of it! Sandwiches were beautiful and the desserts were so delicious. Took some cakes home in a beautiful doggy bag. They brought out a little sweet treat with an edible happy birthday dressing and a sweet candle, it was a lovely extra to our special day!
Staff were AMAZING. We were treated almost like royalty. Friendly, very attentive and welcoming. Big thank you to Luca for looking after us, what a pleasant man and also the lovely pianist who welcomed us, had a lovely conversation and played happy birthday and many wonderful songs.
The room was beautiful. Wonderfully decorated.
Lovely time to catch up with one of my close girlfriends! Would definitely return for another long afternoon of tea and Champagne :)
To celebrate my partner’s national day in Taiwan.
Amazing afternoon tea, service was great, fantastic piano man !
The best afternoon tea I’ve ever had. The service and hospitality was 5*
The best afternoon tea experience. The service and quality of sandwiches, scones and desserts were incredible. I cannot thank the Corinthia enough for such a delightful and memorable afternoon.
Wonderful birthday celebration for my mother in law! It was perfect from start to finish and the staff amazing ! Thank you Corinthia for giving us some brightness in these darker days👏👏😘😘
Fine tea, quality service in a beautiful location!! Highly recommend.
Wonderful service and great selection.
Our overall experience was fantastic, the food was exceptional and the details of the place settings were beautiful. By far our favourite place to have afternoon tea!
Fantastic experience from start to finish, would go again in a heartbeat
Afternoon tea at The Corinthia is certainly an experience. The hotel is beautiful and the food is delicious. If you're looking for a very upscale dress-up experience, this is the place to go.
Perfect afternoon tea. Completely taken care of from start to finish. Thank you for a relaxing afternoon with delicious food and drinks.
A must if you are in London. The place is stunning, the food is delicious and the service flawless. Violeta, our waitress, was absolutely lovely and welcoming.
Service and ambience were wonderful. Sandwich selection was mediocre, however cakes and tea were lovely. Staff were very friendly.
Perfect afternoon, the food and service were spot on. Would highly recommend!
The service was amazing, the strawberry eclair was my fave, wasn’t the biggest fan of the chocolate and kiwi dessert
We had a fantastic time celebrating my sisters birthday, I don’t normally write reviews but the Corinthia really made you feel special especially during these tough and confusing times we are in. The food and service were fantastic and the pianist was amazing
Lovely place, staff are very welcoming especially Victoria the lady who served us the food, she is funny and full of energy. I definitely recommend this place
Went for a lovely afternoon tea with my mum. Was a memorable day - staff were very nice. Food was amazing. Would highly recommend.
The staff at Corinthia are what makes this afternoon tea so special. From Paulo, to the incredible pianist, and the serving staff the service was second to none. The service is completely personalised to each set of diners, something that we’ve not experienced in other similar establishments. The food was really great, with the option to take as much food as you wanted home. Already planning our return - can’t recommend enough
This was a special treat for my Mum's birthday, and although it was not cheap it was worth every penny! Food and service was impeccable!
Friendly helpful staff
Good food and plentiful with some to take home!
Great place for tea without the stuffiness of some of the other well known afternoon tea venues. Superb service from our 2 waiters with plenty of choice and offers of more food and drink.
The service was great the place was beautiful will be coming back again
From the moment we stepped into the Corinthia Hotel we enjoyed ourselves! Peter, Violetta and Alessio served us afternoon tea and they made our celebration even better. They were discreetly attentive and knew when to top up and ask if we needed anything.
Afternoon tea was outstanding and we finished our day in the Northall Bar where Emanuele assisted us - again professionally discreet and attentive.
Great experience accompanied with live piano.
Attentive service, tasty gluten free selection although sandwiches were quite dry. Take away boxes should have some compartments though because unfortunately everything leaks through the gaps and the leftover desserts got ruined.
Lovely birthday afternoon tea! Great service, food and ambience! Couldn’t ask for more really! Champagne was spot on too!!😉🥂
Afternoon presentation could have been better, we were expecting the sandwiches and scones to be served on a traditional afternoon stand. In terms of food, not sure if the bread was fresh and we were expecting smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches not smoked salmon with butter.
Lemon drizzle cake looked dry
Staff were attentive and friendly. Really made us feel welcome and comfortable
