Afternoon Tea @ Ginza Onodera - weekends from 14:00
Lovely food and good service.
Unfortunately, foods were poor qualities and also tea was like a forever tea not proper Japanese tea. The service and atmosphere was good nonetheless. I could see the staff was trying to be nice to the customer. That's why it's even more disappointing. Hang in there!!
Lovely food! Delicious food. will be back. prompt service
My wait staff was excellent. So welcoming, did go into detail about the food. Which i was happy about as it was my first time. i was looking forward to my next visit.
Interesting Japanese Cuisine
Everything was perfect and the staff were amazing!
The best experience for a special occasion. The idea itself is amazing and the execution sublime
Boyfriend had never been to afternoon tea but this one really stood out to us as we both enjoy Japanese food and this was a little ‘different’ from the usual (in the best kind of way)
We booked it in the morning and turned up at 2:00. Brought downstairs the service was very good - although hard to get people’s attention sometimes, they did eventually float back around to you.
We chose ochakai.
Staff were always friendly. They checked allergies too.
When the food came out it looked incredible, although some of the pots (karage) were hard to get out of the frame it was all part of the fun. Everything tasted incredible and very authentic. The quality of the fish on the complimentary nigiri (sea bream and tuna - given as part of their anniversary celebration) was so fresh and rich.
The matcha was prepared in front of us with little pomp and circumstance making it approachable for something that may come across very formal or ceremonial.
The whole experience was gorgeous and would love to do again.
Be back soon x
