Afternoon tea at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow
Our Afternoon Tea includes mouth-watering scones, delicate finger sandwiches and naughty pastries as well as a selection of fine teas.
Booked especially for mother's Day so called before hand to make sure they received my dietary requirements. They did not receive my booking from OpenTable and could not fit us in. Terrible experience with OpenTable and Radisson Heathrow.
I couldn't choose where to sit. I asked to have the cubicle seat against the wall but was rejected by the staff.
Service is fantastic along with the ambience in the room.
We had a very good experience here when I booked an Afternoon Tea in the past so I went back last Monday.
But to my surprise it was not as nice. The bread of the sandwich became tough quickly. The sweets are like the ones you get from Iceland shops. The scones were good.
Staff members are still friendly and accommodating however, food was definitely better before.
They couldn't find the reservation. WE had to tell them that it wasn't big deal as they were many free table!! When afternoon tea arrived we were asked to start from the scones as they go hard when cold!? Then we found a hair in one of the cake. Service not really intuitive. No nice experience
Over expectation. The food is delicious, especially the beef sandwich, very high quality. The service is super nice as well.
We booked afternoon for 2:00pm. There was no one to greet us when we entered the restaurant. It took 20 minutes to receive menus. 15 minutes later our order was taken. 25 minutes later lukewarm tea was brought to us. 30 minutes after this tea was served we were advised that our order was submitted by the server incorrectly and that it would take another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We offered to pay for the tea which was served to us and then left the restaurant. Absolute waste of time.
