Amazing! Food was 10/10 from the savouries to the dessert. Would definitely go back again. The tea we chose was delicious. Was a little bit dissapointed with the taste of mocktails and the variety there was only 3 options. Price wise we assumed it was £45 for the afternoon of course drinks included was an extra tenna but everything added up to £140 for two people which we wasn’t quite keen on.

The restaurant setting is very nice. Nice added addition of a cloakroom. All the staff were very polite. Friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was very nice, good selection of sweet and savoury and Tea to choose from with the option of adding a cocktail or glass of champagne for an additional fee

Not a great experience, the service was pretty much non-existence! Took ages to get attention from staff to refill our tea and to get a glass of water. Had to constantly remind staff that we asked for water when they were clearly being attentive to other tables next to us, but yet kept forgetting a basic request.

We thought it would be some quiet tea experience but it was not. We are not from London so we wanted to experience tea time and searched for the best in town. It was extremely loud in the restaurant. Many guest appaeared drunk and were shouting. Beautiful venue thought. We loved it but not what we expected.

First the positives. Great ambience, decor , food presentation and taste. I do feel there is room for improvement regarding customer service. A smile and a Good afternoon as a first point of welcoming would be nice , instead of no smile and a “Yes” ! I felt I was on a conveyor belt . The table staff were lovely , but extremely busy and when we did need them for something they just glided past . Also I think it’s important for us all to have our food out within a short period of time rather than 1 person having to wait over 10 minutes whilst the rest of the party had theirs. My guests enjoyed themselves, and I would go back to taste the lunch menu ( instead of the afternoon tea) , in hope that the service would be a bit smoother .

The surroundings were lovely, including all the table settings. The food was too a good standard. However the service was poor. We waited ages for our afternoon tea. It was almost impossible to get the attention of the servers at any point. We had to ask for drinks, which again too a long time as we were ignored. The tables were too close together and my friend was knocked 3 times by waiters going past with trays. It was a let down.
