    Well presented afternoon tea but scones were very hard in fact inedible which is the main part of the tea! Not 5 star quality. Good Vegan option.

    We have been to a lot of Afternoon teas but we all said the Fitzwilliam hotel was the best we have ever been to. We will definitely be going back when we next return to Belfast. The staff, the attention to detail, the overall experience and the lovely birthday treat they brought out for my daughter. I would highly recommend the Fitzwilliam hotel for afternoon tea.

    The Fitzwilliam Afternoon Tea was a perfect end to our weekend trip. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The presentation was good and my daughter who has a nut allergy had her own individual cake stand with very similar cakes but obviously nut free. The only negative was the dining room, it had no outlook and no windows however the food and service was sufficient compensation!

    I visited the Fitzwilliam for afternoon tea on Saturday 14th and from the outset the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Myself and my auntie were served by Gerri(?) who couldn’t have been nicer. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The food was very tasty and it was a slightly different take on afternoon tea. I will definitely be recommending your afternoon tea to friends and family.

    Beautiful hotel,very pleasant helpful staff.Afternoon tea was beautiful couldn't fault it .I made a few requests as one of our party was a plain eater and it was also my friends 60th birthday the hotel fulfilled my requests which was lovely. I would definitely recommend to have afternoon tea and hopefully be returning soon thank you fir making our day perfect 😀

    Food was extremely disappointing. Special dietary requirements were given day prior to booking and requests weren't honoured. Spoilt our occassion as people eating at different times and food not as requested

    We keep going back here as it is without a doubt the best Afternoon tea for miles around. The service is excellent, friendly but not intrusive. The food is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Felt very welcome and the atmosphere is just right. Will certainly be back.

    We had a birthday afternoon tea. The service was excellent staff were so pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent every item was "home made"/ made on the premises. The scones were warm crisp on the outside and "spongey" on the inside, with clotted cream they were delicious. There was a great surprise when the plate with muffin arrived with Happy Birthday in chocolate written across the plate. A lovely gesture, simple but very effective and greatly appreciated. Definitely will return.

    Excellent value afternoon tea. Hot selection delicious, sandwiches weren’t my favourite, but that’s more personal taste. Cake selection very good indeed. Would’ve been nice to have the offer of different teas as opposed to just tea with milk, but to be fair I didn’t ask. Overall extremely good value afternoon tea and would definitely recommend to others

    Server was obviously new and hadn’t a clue. Asked for dietary requirements then forgot to serve them. Had to ask for tea/coffee and came when food was finished. Service very slow! Afternoon tea served in the lobby , felt like we were just through in the corner and forgot about. Disappointed as booked this for my mums 70th, normally go to merchant but she wanted to come here as she hadn’t been. Would be reluctant to visit again.

    Overall it was a lovely experience... My only complaint i would have is that when i booked i did say it was our anniversary and nothing was said... But the staff were so lovely and the afternoon was one of the best i have had

    Afternoon tea was a wonderful experience, the regular menu was lovely and can't fault the service or ambience. The only disappointment was the vegan menu lacked imagination and wasn't as tasty as I have had in other places. I would still highly recommend for non fussy eaters!!

    Lovely afternoon tea. Started with soup, sausage roll and cheese ball. Then variety of sandwiches wheaten bread and bagel a scone and 6 cakes. Thank goodness take away box as too much. I had large Processco and hubby enjoyed 2 craft beers Staff very attentive Great experience

    Absolutely fantastic! The amount of food was so much more than a normal afternoon tea, especially the warm entree and the delicious mushroom soup. Staff service was excellent - just right, not constantly there but at the same time always there when we needed them. Thank you for doing the little “thank you” plate that was really nice. Will be back, very good value at £35 Including a glass of prosecco each. Well worth it Thank you again ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

    An enjoyable afternoon tea experience. The staff were professional and looked after us well. The ambience was quiet and relaxed, though maybe a little too quiet for me personally. Drinks were generously poured and food provided was tasty. I did contact the hotel in advance and requested specific sandwich fillings for one member of the party and whilst we did receive a reply from the hotel confirming this could be arranged, unfortunately it wasn’t. That was the only let down. That being said, I would happily return.

    Every member of staff we encountered was polite, friendly and uniquely invested in our experience without coming across as artificial. With one of the party also working in the hotel business, we wouldn’t have been the easiest to impress. In saying this, the staff, service and food exceeded our expectations. Even when we noticed an error in our bill, there was no pushback from the staff and they got it sorted for us as soon as possible. Only suggestion would be to offer some water for the table, but otherwise it was perfect
