Was welcomed very well but from the moment we sat down it went downhill. Food wasn’t great in the sandwiches the chicken was pretty much the only one which was decent. The desserts were a let down. And the scones were nothing special. I made a special request to bring a birthday cake out the all seemed to know it was my wife’s birthday but brought everyone else’s birthday tarts out but failed to bring my tables. To get through attention of the staff to bring us the “unlimited sandwiches” was a mission too took me and my wife about 10 attempts to get their attentions. They did however refill the milk when requested. But that’s about it. We did not even want to pay the service charge at the end but when we asked for the bill they then remembered to bring the birthday tart which wasn’t even given a warning or anything so I got to take no pictures etc my wife wasn’t even impressed by this time as we just asked for the bill blew the candle paid and left. Not worth £157.50 for sure. Go elsewhere this place is just a hype. Definitely my least experience in dining ever especially as we were making her 35th birthday.

A wonderful tea time with very attentive staff in a lovely, yet a bit busy, atmosphere. We had a lovely time!

Staff were extremely polite when we arrived. However there was a hair in my tea cup and the general cleanliness of the cutlery was not there. The food was very average but expensive for what you get though. We went for afternoon tea for my sisters birthday. Overall an average experience.

Enjoyed a superb afternoon tea at the Landmark Hotel. The Winter Harden is glorious to sit in. The afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional and very helpful. What I loved most was that I did not feel rushed to leave, I could have sat there all afternoon. It is now one of my favourite places.

We celebrated our daughter's 16th birthday beautifully with Afternoon Tea at The Landmark Hotel. The setting is exceptional with the high glass ceiling above, the space is airy and bright, there is a pianist and we were lucky that she took requests as our teen had plenty of suggestions for her. The Tea was on the classic and traditional side with just enough twists to the ingredients, for example a light flavouring of truffle in the egg sandwiches, chocolate and cherry scones, which made it a little different and interesting. The food was fresh, well executed and well presented. The choice of teas was excellent and we all sampled various infusions. The staff were attentive, friendly and very polite, happy to accommodate any requests we had, answer any questions and bring us as much tea and sandwiches as we could manage. Our daughter was made to feel special with the pianist playing Happy Birthday and the staff surprising her with an individual dessert topped with a birthday candle. We all felt it was a special and memorable experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish spot for Afternoon Tea.

Best afternoon tea ever. I made a special request for a good table for my birthday and they gave me the most amazing table overlooking the restaurant. The pianist played “Happy birthday to you” as the waiter walked over with a cake lit with a candle for me to blow out. It was so so special. Food and service was 11/10. Thank you for making my experience here amazing.

I’m not sure what I was expecting but cannot believe how lacklustre everything was. To be offered a few tiny sandwiches on stale bread and little cakes that were inedible was extremely disappointing! We did let the staff know and they seemed shocked as they don’t usually receive any negative feedback. Don’t let social media fool, this place does not deserve £83 for what they offered. You could go to a high street cafe and get better service/food. It’s absolutely criminal to charge people £83 for what was offered, the quality of the food was shocking! The cakes/pastries were horrible and I nearly spat it out

Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Pianist was amazing. Although the service at the beginning was good we were seated in the corner, and whilst this gave us a great overall view because we were out of the way, we were very much forgotten about, and had to wait 30 mins to request and receive the bill.

Lovely for a special occasion. They need more variety for sandwiches.
