Afternoon Tea
The Pelham is pleased to launch its playfully vibrant fashion-inspired menu in line with the opening of The Victoria & Albert Museum’s latest exhibition: Mary Quant. The 60’s Mod experience, designed in partnership with luxury event planners La Fête, draws on the history of the British icon who has been immortalised by fashion iconography as the originator of the miniskirt to present a colourful selection of decadent savouries and luxurious treats, all carefully prepared by the Michelin-starred Chef Alfredo Russo and his team. Afternoon Tea Only £40/pp; Afternoon Tea and tickets to the Mary Quant exhibition at the V&A £55/pp

Chose this hotel because it was the closest to the V&A museum and so glad we did. The afternoon tea was lovely. It was a Mary Quant tea so the sandwiches and cakes all were vibrant. There was a chocolate lipstick a rasberry couli nail polish. It was eye catching and very tasty. Highly recommended

Lovely afternoon tea. Food was excellent and so were the cocktails. Bit taken aback by the service charges though.

Fantastic service - very friendly and helpful, no sense of rush to get us out of there (we were there for around four hours!) Fantastic afternoon tea - thoughtful design and delicious.

We arrived early and the staff managed to accommodate us which was very good of them. The tea was nice and in the theme of Mary Quant ( we had just seen the Mary Quant exhibition at the V&A). The savoury selection was brilliant and the cakes were nice. The only thing that we were surprised at was no one came and asked if we required more tea/hot water etc...... When I mentioned this to the girl on reception as I was paying the bill she said I should have gone to her and ordered additional items. Never had to do that before when having afternoon tea - so be warned.

Lovely afternoon tea for a baby shower. We were upgraded to a private room, which was really thoughtful. The Mary Quant tea was lovely - lots of thoughtful touches and details, including an edible lipstick and raspberry sauce presented in a nail polish.
