Afternoon Tea at The Savoy
Guests can also indulge in Afternoon Tea in this comfortable and intimate spot accompanied by the hotel's resident pianist. Afternoon Tea at The Savoy is an enduring custom where guests can choose from a range of teas served with finger sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream & jam and a mouthwatering selection of cakes and pastries.
Afternoon Tea starts from £75.00 per person.
Excellent dining experience & highly recommended...!!!
The Savoy provided a perfect end to our trip to England. Perfect in every way
Went to celebrate a special birthday and it was just superb - food was wonderful, staff were incredibly attentive, very relaxed atmosphere - just a fantastic experience
Amazing!! If i stayed in London another day, I would have gone back.
Service and food were perfect.
Atmosphere of restaurant was deluxe.
Me and my friends could spend wonderful time at here
Fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Make sure you let the hotel know when booking 😉
We had a wonderful experience. The staff went out of their way to make our visit an enjoyable one. Yes, it's one of the more expensive options out there for afternoon tea, but I was very happy with it. The setting is gorgeous and the staff were truly excellent.
The staff and ambiance in your afternoon tea room was the absolutely perfect atmosphere for afternoon tea. The food was very nice indeed and very traditional. I have to give a special mention to the extremely talented pianist who played the perfect playlist whilst we were there.
Expected more on service. Staff seems confused about dietary requirement. Food quality is fine but nothing special for the higher price tag then other 5* places.
Of course lovely afternoon tea at the Savoy. Very nice sandwiches and cakes although I have tasted slightly better in some other 5* establishments such as Harrods and Langham Hotel. The waitress was very nice but she spoke very fast and English not her native language so difficult to understand. Lovely ambience.
The Savoy high tea is highly recommended. The tea were all good, the sandwiches were beautiful and the cakes were delicious!
Treat yourself to a sumptuous British high tea in The Savoy and you will not be disappointed!
Wonderful service but hav gad better food for a lot lot less money
Fabulous afternoon tea, perfect day, it was like going back in time.
Lovely. Look after well and made to feel special. Great experience
My visit here was a trip down memory lane for a very special lady who’s father and late husband used to work for. The staff were very attentive to begin with and when I complained that my coffee was only warm they very quickly changed it for me! Unfortunately my friends tea was only Luke warm too but we didn’t want to complain again. We had loads to eat which we couldn’t finish so they provided us with a gorgeous Savoy box as a momento to take away with us some of our cakes.
My friend and I were unfortunately in a bit of a rush. We let our server know and she was able to get us everything to the table quickly, as well as pack up some of the sweets to take with us.
Would love to come back and make up for the lost time !
The savouries ( sandwiches & little tarts ) were delicious, scones good but the cakes were a real disappointment - I can’t say I enjoyed any of them particularly. All the waiters were friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Ambience was pleasant but I found the piano music a little intrusive.
The staff were very welcoming, professional and very attentive. The ambience was very relaxing and comfortable. The food and drinks was delicious. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely go again.
Brilliant experience - can not recommend highly enough
Everything very quintessentially British but in a very relaxed atmosphere so you can really enjoy the experience
Definitely the best afternoon tea in London
The staff were very welcoming - we were invited to view other parts of the hotel. The service was excellent (not the sort of place where you are expected to pour your own tea!)
Have been many times and The Savoy never disappoints!! Amazing.
We enjoyed everything about it, with only a trifling criticism; the street leading to the Savoy looked a bit neglected. But the tea and service was fabulous, the pianist was very good indeed, not intrusive but sensitive and responsive. A wonderful setting, very relaxing and stimulating at the same time!
Une superbe expérience. Tout était parfait.
L’ambiance, la nourriture, le personnel aux petits soin. Merci pour ce merveilleux moment.
A perfect treat for anyone who would like to catch up over Afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion. Service attentive, food and choice of tea of a high quality and live piano playing a perfect accompaniment to the afternoon.
This was a very special treat which we totally and utterly loved.... the food and service is so good it is difficult to find words the perfect mix of elegance personable service and responding to our individual needs... i cannot really express how amazing the experience is and i would highly highly recommemd The Savoy for famillies and friends it is a very special place....
I had my tea on a Saturday evening and truly enjoyed.
I do Afternoon Teas around the world, but what made this AT so special
was the staff. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and made
you feel welcomed.
After my tea I went to the Beaufort bar where the staff quickly arranged a table
for me even though the bar was full. I've never experienced that before.
After that I went to the American Bar where I was welcomed in kind.
It was marvelous to see the staff happy and energetic even though it was
a Saturday night.
Thank you all for the marvelous experience I had!
Excellent service and food absolutely delicious. Very happy to see the Vegan option and that was super delicious!
Great venue for a special celebration. Staff friendly and attentive. They brought food in stages, you weren't rushed. You are offered more food, but we found the quantity was enough. The tea was regularly topped up. The surroundings were lovely, plenty of space between tables. A relaxed atmosphere was created by a pianist who played in the central area.
Afternoon tea at The Savoy was a delightful experience in a relaxed atmosphere, full of delicious food and exceptional service. We went as a special birthday treat and it will remain with us as an extraordinary afternoon spent at He Savoy.
Everything was lovely, but after 1 hour and 45 min we were told that the next customers are standing in front, waiting for the table
The ambience and setting was beautiful. The food was disappointing: the madeleines were nigh on burnt, the scones over baked, the vegetarian sandwich fillings non-inspiring and the patisserie items came to share rather than one each. The waiter said they were for slicing in two but that was difficult and we would have enjoyed one each. You also don't get the extra slice of cake at the end which many afternoon teas provide. On top of that we were surprised by a large service charge which brought the total price per head up to not much short of £100 per head. You can only stay the allotted time period as well and we were reminded of this.
Having had afternoon tea at many locations in London, and after honeymooning at the Savoy, I booked for me and my son. Unfortunately, I think we were just unlucky with our waiter as the other people waiting on seemed much better and made a fuss of my son. I had to pour my own tea on several occasion. I've never had to do that before. And it's the most expensive afternoon tea. It doesn't compare to the Ritz.
Lovely afternoon tea as a treat for Mum
My thirteen year old grandson loves afternoon tea at The Savoy and expects to experience a trip during each school holiday.
Perfect way to celebrate a special birthday. Attention to detail was exceptional and the birthday cake really was the icing on the cake! An experience we will remember forever, thank you.
One of the best experience of afternoon tea in London ! Amazing memories 😍😍👍🏽
The food and the service were both superb. The atmousphere was as charming as expected mainly due to a lady pianist who has a very light touch on the keys. If there was one criticism it is that the advertised dress code seems not to be adhered to entirely faithfuly by some, hardly the fault of the establishment though.
A magical experience! My 17 year old daughter and I loved every minute.
