    Afternoon Tea in the Titanic Hotel, Belfast, is indeed a treat. Very Professional Staff, who looked after us, throughout the whole experience. Food was very high quality and presentation was excellent. Car Parking just across the road from the Titanic Hotel, not too expensive and plenty of spaces. Would highly recommend.

    Quintessential spot for afternoon tea. Stunning building with impeccable service. Our waitress went out of her way for our 6 yo daughter to ensure a child friendly menu. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more delightful experience!

    I took my Mother out for a spot of lunch, and we were not disappointed. From the setting itself to the food, and especially the service. We were tended to by a lovely lady named Nicole/Nicola. She was absolute credit to The Titanic Hotel. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

    Stunning view of the museum and Titanic Quarter. Gorgeous dining room. Tea was wonderful and a great selection. The scones were delicious as was the custard, cream and jam to top it. Highly recommend this experience.

    Only 2 tables taking afternoon tea in a huge space, so no ambience to speak of. Service was polite and friendly, food was not very good. I would not recommend it

    The standard of food and presentation were very good. Staff were attentive and friendly Great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes to choose from Choice of teas were very good as well and we tried a few before finishing with a Latte As it was my Birthday soon the staff went out their way to present me with a small presentation at the table which was very thoughtful of them This would have been a fantastic experience but sadly it was underwhelming, this was due to the location of our table within the Hotel. Not having dined here before we weren't sure where the afternoon tea would be served, but had read somew reviews which said it was served in one of the atrium bars which had a piano and seating around the periphery of the room and someone playing the piano on occasion. We had booked our tea at 1600 on the day of arrival to the Hotel as we had other things planned for our 3 day stay When we went down for our tea we were the only couple being served that afternoon our table had been placed in the middle of the floor in the Bar in Drawing room 2, the Bar was busy and people were constanly walking past our table and it felt like we were in a goldfish bowl with everyone else looking at us in the middle of the floor having our tea as we were the only couple there. The following day as we walked through the Hotel we noticed other people having afternoon tea and they were all in the Atrium Bar with a genteman playing the piano with no tables in the middle of the floor but all around the outside of the room, this is what we were expecting when we booked I spoke to the girl on the reception desk and told her that I wasn't happy with our experience of the Afternoon Tea due to where our table had been placed. She said she fully understood my concerns and noted my comments however nothing was actually done. So if you want to book the Afternoon Tea make a point of asking for you table to be placed in the Atrium Bar as we weren't aware we could have been in there

    I have already emailed management and I am still waiting on a reply. Dirty upholstery, dirty tea pots, ran out of signature tea! At afternoon tea, couldn't make it up, stuff missing from platter. Scones hard, pastry soggy. In fact it my review seems to echo the previous, so obviously no improvements made. Spend your money elsewhere.

    We arrived and were escorted to our table by a lovely waitress, I had to ask to change my chair as it was very uncomfortable as I have spinal problems, the replacement had dried in dark stains on it. The waitress took our order and we waited to be served when the order came on a 3 layered cake stand and a pot of tea and pot of coffee, my coffee was hot but my wife’s tea was cool so she asked for a pot of hot water to warm the tea up more. The bottom plate was sandwich’s which were nice and we enjoyed them, then came the scone and cream I took scone and jam but my wife opened the cream pot and put it on the scone but it was off like sour milk, the smell was even on her hands so she had to go to the bathroom to wash her hands, we spoke to the girl and she changed the scone and cream that was used. Then came the top plate I took a little cup cake and it was solid not what I was expecting, I then lifted a small shortcrust tartlet and it was wet on the bottom, by this stage we were starting to get annoyed as it was just one thing after another unfortunately for us. My wife lifted a small profiterole and cut it opened and as soon as she put it near her mouth that cream was also off. So we called the girl over explained everything to her as we couldn’t finish the tea. She came back over and offered us something for the bar menu but we said no, as it was a little treat for our 41st wedding anniversary, she told us she spoke to her manager and they said they wouldn’t charge us for the tea today. We explained to the girl that it wasn’t her fault but it was really disappointed and even that the manager didn’t come over to our table. When I was reading about the afternoon tea on the web site it actually said “ sweet flaky pastries, all on our best china, and of course tea in a much-loved pot” I will show the much loved tea pot in photos. We will not be returning.

    We throughly enjoyed our Afternoon Tea at the Titanic Hotel. This hotel has a beautiful setting, creating an ambient atmosphere complimenting the overall experience of Afternoon tea. The food was very fresh, the scones were still warm from being baked and the service was outstanding. It was my mother’s birthday and the staff made it extra special, presenting her with macaroons which said happy birthday. I would recommend here over anywhere else in the North of Ireland for this experience

    lovely setting, good service although not exceptional. The afternoon tea was ok, tea and champagne very good but the sandwiches and cakes were only ok. More sandwiches and less cakes with improved quality for all please.

    I had afternoon tea at the titanic hotel about 6 months ago and the menu is identical. I think it could do with a rejig, several of the sandwiches are bland. Also some of the cakes are only okay. Also we had to ask to be served so although staff were very friendly there was some issue with them coming to us in the first place which meant we didn’t see any food for 30-40 minutes

    Food nice, and service ok if a bit chaotic, and slow. Room used was cold, you might need a blanket even in summer, and other tables not cleared. That said the building itself is incredible.

    This was my very first afternoon tea and I was so impressed with the level or professionalism of all the staff My sister and I were travelling from Canada on a British Isles cruise. The presentation of the food was amazing and the level of detail was nothing less than perfection.

    A lovely tray of sweets and savories. The scones with sweet cream and jam were perfect! The tea I chose was stronger, more astringent than I like; I was surprised that it was not served in china teapots.

    This wasn't my best experience by far. This afternoon tea was booked for my wife's birthday as a part of a trip to Belfast. When we arrived, we were shunted out of the room we had booked for, to be put into the dining room , so instead of being with people celebrating afternoon tea, we were with people on the general menu, this killed any ambience that you may expect regarding an afternoon tea as we were the only table with a white table cloth and we felt like we were on show.. We only got an explanation after I complained about the move. It turns out there was a large party in the room and they thought we would prefer to be moved. Had I been informed of this prior to my arrival, I could have changed my booking or even cancel. The choice of tea was great and we could change flavour as many times as we wished and even change to coffee, the food was ok, my only disappointment was the fact that squirty cream was served for the scones instead of a clotted or even chantilly cream. The service was great, and the price of the glasses of prosecco was taken off the bill. Although we made the best of the situation, the experience fell way below what we would expect, and we left a little disheartened.

    We had a great afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Unfortunately there was only one other table with people at it but there were lots of people in and out so there was still a bit of a buzz. The decor was amazing ....loved the floor and the staff were very helpful.

    This high tea was absolutely fabulous! I take tea wherever I travel and this was in the top 5. The tea service is “bottomless” so we tried a couple different types of tea. The only disappointment was that they were out of two of the more popular teas. The food was delicious and the historic building beautiful. We met a lovely couple and had a wonderful chat. Would definitely visit again!

    A most delicious afternoon tea - we all enjoyed the fresh savoury choices - and also the varied selection of scones which were warmed and tasted fresh with the addition of a tangy lemon curd were loved by all. For the first time we all finished off the sweet selection - yes because we were extra hungry but also because what was on offer was beautifully presented and very tasty. The only item we weren’t so happy with was the panna cotta which was strangely thick and slightly stodgy. The room was lovely and the service was excellent. We were disappointed that there was no piano playing - so one star less for ambiance! - but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the overall experience.

    Food and service excellent, where the afternoon tea area is located is very poor, constant flow of people from the bars to the toilets the whole time we were there, this is very unacceptable considering the price paid, could so easily be rectified with a little thought and imagination. Absolutely no atmosphere, large piano in centre of room no one showed up to play it.

    The portions were very small and mean, one tiny pot of jam and cream between us, which was extremely mean. Lots of staff milking about but none that would help. Our waitress disappeared on her break and when I approached another member of staff she snapped ‘yes’ and said that she would come back, but never did. We were then fobbed off by another staff member and eventually had to pay at the bar.

    We really enjoyed our afternoon tea, it was a nice treat after visiting the Titanic Exhibition. The food was nice, service was great and overall a good experience. The only thing I'd say is that the room we were in was a bit of a walkway for people to get from one place to another. It was a lovely setting, had a bar and piano (with a pianist playing for some of our experience), but got a tad annoying people walking in & out to another room. On the food, it was all delicious. Personally, I'd prefer another savoury option or two and forfeit one or two of the cakes. But that's personal preference. I'd really recommend it.

    Fantastic food and service. The afternoon tea area is past the hotel’s bar. Afternoon tea reservations are required. Several parties without reservations tried to sit in the area and were moved politely by the staff. Scones were phenomenal. Try the titanic luxury tea blend as part of the service.
