Chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee have over 25 years of combined experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi. They established their culinary careers in Houston where they worked together for years before creating their own restaurants.

Pham and Lee teamed up to bring new curated dining concepts to Houston’s food scene and kicked off a series of omakase pop-up dinners called Secret Taste. Pham and Lee then opened Kokoro in the Bravery Chef Hall in Downtown Houston followed by Handies Douzo in the Houston Heights.

Aiko is the newest concept from the team featuring a sushi bar and seated dining.

Excellent quality sushi. Very fresh. Service was attentive although the food does take a little bit to come out. Every table has a bench seat on one side and is pretty packed in.

We sat at the sushi bar and did the omakase along with some other items. Jesus took care of us and we had a great experience. Will definitely be back.

What a great experience we had! The spicy tuna, the salmon, yellow tail amazingly a work Of art and delicious outstanding rolls. I’ve traveled the world and this was one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to!

High quality fish. Great flavors. Would return! Highly recommend the sunomono salad, spicy tuna handroll, and any of the nigiri!

We always have the most amazing experience at Aiko. It’s our #1 go to date night place when we go into Houston. The food, service and vibe are second to none.

Wife and I went for the HRW menu. Loved the cucumber salad and all things hamachi! Ended up ordering extra hand rolls because of how good they were! Fun date night
