Enjoy a great array of freshly cooked dishes. Magnificent dishes are cooked by Chef Akira. Relax and enjoy lunch or dinner whilst making the most of the gorgeous views of our 33 acre landscaped gardens and The River Thames.
The theme of the Omakase course is a fusion of Japanese cuisine with local British and European ingredients. For example, we use traditional European ingredients such as croissants to create sushi and pasta to create Japanese dishes.
All the guests (10-12 covers) will be seated on the same time on 1 long table.
We use the fresh Japanese wagyu beef for our starters and sushi, and we also use the Japanese techniques of curing local fish of Europe - using kombu seaweed - to bring out the best of the ingredients.
Our main course, sushi, is carefully prepared with great care. We hope you will enjoy our special sushi at Oakley Court Hotel.

                                  Truly amazing experience. Everyone was so attentive and the food was delicious and a culinary journey with the food being prepared in front of us paired with the excellent drink matching.

                                  The food was really great. The reason for the low rating is the lack of information given at time of booking. All diners sat at one long table. There is no information about this at time of booking or on the website. So it was quite a shock when turning up, with my 2 children, to have to sit on a table next to strangers. Seems very odd not to give warning of this, even for Covid requirements as there was of course no social distancing and you had to sit very close to the people next to you. The food was amazing and the knowledge and presentation from the waiting staff was very good. I would recommend but I’d make sure people knew what they were signing up for when booking. If you were going for a romantic evening or family dinner would not recommend. I don’t think any of the diners knew about this seating arrangement.

                                  Went for the Valentine’s Day and overall was a very good experience. The staff were very attentive and always on hand to top up your wine. If I have one criticism it would be the first couple of courses come out too quickly, would have preferred more time between. That said we have a very nice time.
