After a shaky start due to a mix up with the OpenTable reservation system, we were seated in a comfortable booth and were extremely well looked after.

The food was very well prepared and very tasty. Aldrin was exceptional in his manner and service. We would definitely be back.

We had an absolutely delightful dinner at Al Basha. We ordered about twice as much food as we should have, but the menu is extensive and we wanted to try everything. Thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered and the service was great. Best hummus I've had anywhere.

After messing around for about 15mins trying to find which 3 course menu we had selected, we finally had the Christmas 3 course menu and a glass of wine for £30 and its was definitely value for money. The starters were a selection of warm pitta bread, dips, stuffed vine leaves, cheese pastry, falafel. The list goes on and on. The food was warm and full of flavour. The main consisted of meat grill or fish platter and I must say the fish platter was the main event. Amazing the flavours of the seabass, salmon and calamari were fantastic. Would go again and fully recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We tokk the set menu which was excellent value at £30. Great Lebanese red wine from Bekaa Valley. Excellent Lebanese starter full of fresh herbs and finely chopped salad. The main course was a mixed grill with succulent meats and chicken. We finished up with Baclava washed down with mint tea a fitting end to a thoroughly honest and tasty meal.

Al Basha offered a very authentic dining experience. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious. The service was outstanding. The proprietor Al came by several times to make sure all was perfect and to our liking. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

This was our 3rd visit to al basha. I want to say that the service was fantastic.

But we were a little bit disappointed with the food this time.
The falafel were authentic egyptian and very tasty but everything else was rather sad.
The Mahshi was overcooked and the vegetables were so soggy you couldn't recognise what vegetable it was.
The Koshari again was not great this time. The last time we came it was AMAZING. This time there was hardly any lentils in it, the onions were obviously mass produced out of a jar that I could have bought myself in the supermarket, not fresh and hot and fabulous like last time.

I wonder if there has been a change in the cooking staff.

The service was excellent though and so were the fresh juices and most of all the Karak tea

Great food and atmosphere. After a mild screw up on our booking the manager still found us a table for 6 at very late notice on a very busy night. We stumbled in on an evening that was Arafat Day (according to a subsequent google). Will 100% go back.

Really nice restaurant with a lovely middle eastern feel. Great food. Got to have the rice pudding. Needs more vegetarian mains.

A really friendly restaurant we chose due to its location to meet some American visitors. Service was exceptionally friendly although sometimes slow- which was fine as we were catching up with old friends and I hate being rushed! Alcohol free but with fab tea selection and food was very tasty. We had the lamb leg between 4 - and there was plenty- alongside some cold mezze starters.
