We have had dinner dates and dinner with friends on multiple occasions and the last two times with friends everyone was discussing how incredible the food is and how we hope this stays open for a long time and consistently good. The ambiance is ok but not great. The lighting is not great and we have asked both times we have eaten with friends to be moved fo a different table bc of lights in our eyes and lighting that is unflattering. Maybe a little adjustment to the layout of the tables or the style and the lighting definitely needs changing. Otherwise this is one of our favorite places to eat with some of the best food in town. We aren’t hard to please but Aren’t easily wowed either. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Wonderful evening at A&C on our first-ever visit to Little Rock. We started with a local craft beer after being warmly greeted and seated by Lexi. My wife enjoyed a caesar salad as an appetizer. Nice wine list to go along with their menu. The pork chop was fantastic. My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly. Enjoyed an after-dinner cocktail; bartenders made wonderful drinks. Wonderful personable service!

Outstanding food and service. Wife had the Parmesan Chicken and I had the Short Rib with Risotto. Emily our waitress did a wonderful job, as usual. Allsopp is still our go to restaurant.

The food was top notch. My wife and I really enjoyed the bruschetta to start but everything was great. The service topped off everything. I believe A&C has some of if not the best cocktails around.

My husband and I went to dinner to celebrate Mother’s Day early. The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. We will definitely be back!

This was our second visit to A&C. I have to say, it was excellent!! We were here last here in September of 2021, and, justifiably so, looked forward to this most recent trip. The cocktail menu, refreshed for Spring and Summer, is quite appealing, with some very interesting twists on old standards. My wife and I both enjoyed our drinks: an updated Old Fashioned for me, and something that seemed based on a French 75 for the missus. Appetizer course was the meat and cheese charcuterie platter. It served four adults, and it was solidly amongst the best I’ve had in any restaurant. I hope they leave the Port Salut cheese on it, as it was the star of the platter! Entrees were the Veal Chop, Filet Migon, and 2 orders of the Mushroom Risotto with Lobster and Scallops. These were all perfectly cooked, and the flavors were extraordinary. We finished with two desserts for the table: the house made cheesecake, and the bread pudding. I highly recommend the bread pudding, with its sidecar of dulce de leche gelato. The cheesecake, while also very good, needs a little something…like a lemon caramel sauce to set it off. Lastly, our server was nice, with a great disposition. Service was only slightly inattentive, probably due to the packed clientele numbers, but that’s one thing I would have wanted differently. We will absolutely be back, and can’t say enough good things about this gem in Little Rock!!!

This was our second dinner at Alsopp & Chapple and,again, it was excellent. The first was a large group for a birthday party. Great food, flawless service. Last night, our server reviewed the specials and her enthusiastic recommendations were on target. We appreciate the valet service and we were able to stroll down to the performance at the Rep. Definitely a winner.

Another amazing dining experience at A&C! I started with the Don Quixote margarita which was magnificent while my spouse had his usual Maker’s Mark. We enjoyed the wonderful bruschetta before the main course. My husband had the veal chop special which he said was outstanding while I had the Parmesan crusted chicken - which is simply the best chicken dish in town! Awesome service from Heather made the experience perfect. Portions are large so we will have the other half of our dinner Sunday night. A&C only gets better!

We have had several visits to A&C, but the first since the current chef. Four of us ordered differently. Each meal (starter, and entree) was perfectly done. They have mastered the teamwork to have all meals ready at the same time and delivered promptly so they can be enjoyed at the temperature intended by the chef. Bravo! Not a single suggestion to improve anything.

Our first time eating here. Started with a couple new Spring drinks that were very good and then got crab cakes and a cup of gumbo to share. Crab cakes were good, not lump crab, but well spiced and huge. Gumbo was bitter and we think they burned the roux. You could just taste the burned flour. Main course was a filet coffee encrusted steak and the halibut. Fish dish was very good but a little overcooked. Steak was a steak, nothing to write home about. Split Carmel Cheesecake for dessert. Yummy.

The drinks, appetizer and bar tender was great. Our meal, the sea bass was awful. So salty you could not eat it. I was very disappointed , I had eaten their a month before and the sea bass was awesome, I couldn’t wait to take my husband, who loves sea bass, and we could not eat it.

We celebrated 6 months of marriage on 4/9/22 and this is where we ate. It was perfect! The food and drinks were wonderful, and when our waiter found out we were celebrating something special, she made sure to give us each a complimentary glass of champagne to toast with. We would definitely go there again and recommend it for any special occasion.
