   A wonderful restaurant. My wife and I visit have visited every year when we come to Cornwall for the last 5 years. It still remains good quality food, friendly service and great drinks. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back next year.

   All food we had was very tasty, cooked from scratch, the service was quick, very friendly, attentive and personalised. We loved everything about our luch there and will certainly be back when in Falmouth.

   The food was unusual and excellent. I would certainly return for more. My one gripe was the music which I found too intrusive, perhaps because I was seated directly underneath a speaker.

   Innovative food focussed on South African cuisine. Superb meal, fast, efficient service and friendly ambience to the restaurant in the middle of Falmouth. Would certainly come again when in the area . An "occasion" restaurant but also for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. Unique in my experience: we had espetada, beef and ostrich , stuffed avocado and a fabulous ice cream / whisky concoction for dessert. Highly recommended!!

   Overall a nice experience, I know we should expect price increases but £28 for 5 squares of meat on a skewer with a few apricots and a small bowl of chips was expensive and then for a tiny tiny pot of peppercorn sauce an extra £6…. !!!

   Absolutely the best place to eat in Falmouth. The atmosphere is so lovely and authentic. The food is out if this world and so full of flavour, paired with the perfect wines to compliment the dishes. The restaurant was full when we arrived at 7.30pm and was still full when we left around 9pm and throughout members of the public were queing to try and get tables but the restaurant was already fully booked which in itself is a testament to the quality and success of this restaurant. Couldn't have enjoyed our experience or the food more and will most definitely be returning. 10/10⭐️

    Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent, and good to see local produce being used in an innovative way. Only small gripe would be time it took from sitting down to having our order taken. If we had been told it would be nearly an hour it would have been better. Worth the wait in the end though.

    Fabulous food and service, felt really welcome, my Hubby & I really enjoyed our evening. Everything that came out of that kitchen looked wonderful… would definitely recommend booking, as it’s not a huge place. We did and were not disappointed..

    An extremely enjoyable dinner in Falmouth's Main Street. The food owes much to the South African heritage and is delicious. The South African wines were a perfect accompaniment to the evening.

    Staff were incredibly helpful and patient with Customers (and I mean my parents) who were unfamiliar with South African cuisine. Food was on the pricey side but made up easily with equally generous portion sizes. Most importantly the food was tasty.

    Great food, good service and good value. Sat on terrace w hi ch lacked any atmosphere which is shame as it has sea views which aren’t easy to get.

We are sorry you felt our terrace area lacked atmosphere, we have tried to create an inviting area for our customers to dine and have drinks on, including new seating, decking, canopy, lights and heaters. We are also planning on improving this further with new awnings so customers can enjoy the balcony all year round and music played outside to reflect the atmosphere inside our restaurant.     A very tasty meal for a special occasion with some unusual foods.It was busy so a bit slow getting our food.I felt a bit overpriced but it was a nice conclusion to a celebratory day.

    We absolutely loved our meal at Amanzi. The food was delicious and everything including the wine (lovely Rose) was brilliantly priced. Couldn't recommend it more highly for a lovely, casual dinner out. The owner and staff are utterly charming. Do book as it fills up quickly and several diners had to be turned away. Next time we'll try the balcony overlooking the harbour - just gorgeous.

    Food, ambience excellent service could be a bit more polished. Once again a great place to eat. We were holidaying in St Austell. It was worth the 48 mile round trip.

    A very pleasant evening. The staff were very engaging, friendly and informative. The food was superb - full of flavour, and the chips were easily the best we've had. There's a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If we didn't live 6 hours away we'd definitely go back!

    Excellent food. Only little niggle was we were sitting amongst loads of stock which was a shame. That wouldn’t stop me going again though.
