    We had such an amazing time and our waiter was amazing!! He was so attentive but not too much and so kind and helpful. Cannot sing his praises enough. I am so sorry but have forgotten his name. I think it was Johan or something similar but he was amazing! The whole team just worked so well together and to top it off our food was unbelievable!! Thank you so much. Keep up the amazing work x

    Went there last night with a group of 7 friends to celebrate my bestfriends birthday. Myself and another friend turned up early where we were allowed to sit at the bar while we wait for our table and friends. We got given free Prosecco on the house! Once we all arrived we ordered the food. The food was amazing, well priced and had raving reviews from everyone. Rolling to desserts, and they surprised my bestie with a free apple pie and made it super special for her. I couldn’t fault Americana and the amazing service we had. Shoutout to Serena who was amazing!! Thank you for making it a good start of the night for all us.

    Food was fine - nice but underwhelming and overpriced for the portion sizes (eg £8 to add one skewer of chicken to the Southwest salad), and cold pies for dessert. Our main issue was the service - there were heaps of staff wandering around not seeming to do much, but it was still virtually impossible to get anyone’s attention without having to shout as they walked past. They automatically stick a 15% service charge on the bill which is probably why they don’t make any effort to be efficient or particularly courteous. I wouldn’t go back.

    Our 1st visit to Americana was a very enjoyable one and the food was very good indeed. We used a Tastecard which gave us 25% off the total bill, which made it even more of a great experience. Definitely worth another visit. Recommended.

    We booked this restaurant because it was close to the Theatre Royal where we were attending a matinee. The staff were friendly polite and helpful. We took advantage of their lunchtime deal - open sandwich with slaw and fries plus drink, very tasty - incredible value for central London. There were a couple of mistakes with the order but these were dealt with quickly and pleasantly by the attentive staff. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    An amazing find on the Open Table app. Booked this for a girly lunch with friends. Our server Serena was epitome of excellent service! Serena was attentive to all our needs and made excellent recommendations, Serena really our time in the restaurant memorable. The cocktails were nice and strong (just the way I like them), food choice was good and we all enjoyed our meals. We ordered oysters as a starter to share - very fresh and yummy. Our main meals were the slow-cooked brisket, lamb and also the ribs which were all generously portioned and very good value. The ambience was perfect with lots of natural light. We will definitely be back.

    Beautiful venue, friendly staff and delicious food. We had the tasting menu and it was delicious, we also took advantage of the half price wine, so had a beautiful California red for the same price as the house wine. The staff were so attentive, and made my dad's birthday feel special.

    Staff are very friendly and attentive made you feel very welcome. I had the 11 course taster meal which i enjoyed. Each course was seasoned very well and had deep flavours. The tequila cocktail can't remember the name of it now but it was 10 out of 10! My only criticism would be the dessert course it would of been nicer if the brownie and pecan pie was served warm. Apart from that i would definitely recommend Americana and look forward to returning.

    We tried the new tasting menu, using the SOFTLAUNCH code so that we got 50% off. I would say that it isn't worth the full price of £50, but the food was very nice and definitely filled us up. Lovely decor inside and vibe, and very friendly waiting staff.

    Food was good - didn't blow me away but enjoyed it. Drinks were strong and tasted good. Our server was a little judgemental when we all decided to order the same dish - if we're paying for it, why should it matter? Made us feel a little uncomfortable. We were celebrating an engagement and got free Prosecco which was a nice touch, but they told us about it when we sat down but then brought it with dessert - we asked about it and our server again had a bit of attitude. Would have been nicer to receive earlier rather than when we were wrapping things up. Atmosphere was nice, and they've got a nice big bar around the back.

    Enjoyed our experience here but it was mostly made by the staff who were attentive, funny and charming. The food was fine, it felt a little like it was being 'pumped out' of the kitchen as everyone in our area was having the tasting menu, but portion size was about right. Drinks were good and quick from the bar. The desserts stole the show for us - pecan pie & chocolate brownie were both delicious.

    An amazing finding! The place was really nice, fantastic decoration, comfortable sitting, the right level on the lights and the right volume of the music. Very kind stuff, exceptional food, yummy cocktails. Overall a fantastic experience. We’ll go there again soon!

    Great post-theatre dinner. Service was spot on, ambience nice. Food was delicious and fresh. We had free dessert for our daughters bday pudding - nice touch. Menu was good, drinks selections nice. Good location and very reasonable pricing too for central London/West End. Good job.

    In all the food was tasty and different, wide variety of drinks. Service in general was a little chaotic! We went mid week, cant image what it’s like during a busier period. However our waiter was very attentive and professional. We purchased a tasting menu which is a little misleading as it’s served as a table shared plate(s) not per person. Now the biggest issue we experienced was every dish was cold. They overheard us saying this and were extremely apologetic and even replaced the dishes (with just as cold ones!) they even comped us a bottle of wine. Which is amazing customer service. Now if we hadn't of had the deal and I was paying full price this would not be a good review. Someone needs to check the food before going out, serving on a iron skillet is pointless if it isn't hot. I think there is a disconnect between serving staff and the kitchen and the food is sitting somewhere and getting cold? I would also suggest serving some cornbread or pitta with the dishes because of the nice sauces which end up going to waste. Staff were very friendly and it’s a nice place in a great location. However based on our experience tasting menu for 6 people, I wont be returning unfortunately.
