Always amazing food in Amira's, lovely, attentive staff and great value for money - especially the All you can eat on a Sunday. Highly reccommend.
Very good food served by friendly and efficient staff in pleasant surroundings.
The food is something else. This is not your run-of-the-mill curry house, this is extremely high class Indian cuisine without being too pretentious. Service is friendly and professional, although we did have to wait a little longer than I would expect to order the first drinks. This excellent experience does come at a cost though, but considering the high quality of the food, it’s worth it.
I had an enjoyable meal. The service was excellent and the food was very good.
Another excellent meal at Amiras superb food served by friendly and courteous staff, will be back again soon .
The food was tasty and the restaurant has warm and lively ambiance.
Whilst the food was delicious, the portion sizes of the starter (meat platter for 2) and the rice and standard dishes were very small. (Only 4 pieces of chicken in the Chicken Tikka Balti )
The specials were of a more acceptable portion size and were lovely.
The starters were cold when they arrived and the waiter tried to fill our gin glasses with wine rather than supplying new glasses.
We'd give the restaurant another chance as it was recommended by friends and there was a really large table of diners there on Friday night.
Our reservation was booked for my birthday present treat.
Plenty of choice from the menu.
Nice Table, with plenty of room.
Excellent service after a warm welcome and the food is more aimed at flavour rather than heat which is commendable. Will go again.
Amazing food once again and very accommodating to us joining tables with friends who we hadn't arranged to meet with. Lovely evening with lovely food.
Fun and friendly, enjoyed the food, service with a smile, can definitely recommend and will visit again.
Lovely authentic restaurant. Food fantastic. Lovely staff.
Great little restaurant, what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality of food and service.
A very enjoyable meal with excellent service and great food. It was a bit noisy the night we visited, as there was a large stag party on nearby table - was quiet when they were eating but a bit noisy other times!! We will be back
The restaurant was quiet with only one other table (though of 10 people celebrating a birthday). The service was excellent and attentive and the food quite delicious
Food was very tasty with clearly distinctive and subtle tastes to each dish. Front of house very friendly but a bit difficult to assess ambience as we dined early and were alone for a large part of the time. Perhaps a bit pricey for frequent meals but OK for 'special' occasions.
Amazing food and great service
We were very impressed with our meal and the service at Amira’s Kitchen. I would recommend it for a tasty Indian dinner.
Fabulous food once again - I opted for Chicken Chettinad as I fancied some heat. I wasn't disappointed as it was very fiery but still incredibly tasty. Will definitely be having this dish again.
First time there food lovely service bit slow but didn't ruin evening .would recommend to friend
Decided to have a Sunday Lunch Curry! Although it was quiet the food was lovely. We went for the lunch time special which had a reasonably good selection.
Amira's Kitchen is far and away the best Indian restaurant in the area. The food is fresh, tasty and always delicious. We have never had anything other than outstanding food here, and have tried a good deal of the menu. We have recommended Amira's to numerous friends and family, and they all love it too!
A lovely evening with my partner, given a 4 birth table to give us more space, super efficient service as always. Lovely food and wine. Many thanks.
Another excellent evening at Amiras kitchen will be back again soon
Superb as ever
Food excellent but clientele not so good. Was place next to a family of 4 with two very young children who wined and screeched. The tattooed parents did little to pacify and then put the kids in from of video games on mobile phones which were very loud. Needless to say this spoilt the meal for us and the majority of other diners.
Great food, good service and definitely my favourite curry house in Uckfield.
Having visited Amira's Kitchen on a few occasions and experienced great food and great service my mum, sister and I decided to celebrate our New Year's Eve there. We were not disappointed, even though quite busy the service and food were top notch, teamed with a lovely bottle of wine a great night was had by us all. Thank you Amira's Kitchen.
It says a lot when my Dad doesn't have anything to complain about after eating in restaurants....especially Indian cuisine! So well done to Amira's Kitchen! The owner was accomodating, honest and pleasant. One of the dishes was a bit too hot, but all in all a very good experience.
We have eaten here a number of times and never had a bad meal, this one was no exception. The food was hot and very tasty. Would recommend and will certainly visit again.
Excellent food and service. It was a very quiet Sunday evening in the restaurant but most enjoyable.
Great food with friendly staff & excellent service. Look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommended :o)
Amira's Kitchen is the best Indian restaurant in the area - by some distance. The food is outstanding - fresh, delicately fragranced and cooked with real care so you can actually taste all the herbs and spices in your dish. We have tried all the local Indian restaurants (and there are many!) but Amira's is head and shoulders above the rest. We have never had anything less than terrific food there.
Lovely food & great service. Expensive so not a cheap night out. Unfortunately my son was injured & in pain so we had to leave early. However, they kindly gave us take out with our leftovers. Nice to have another good Indian in Uckfield.
In my view it’s trying to be a high end restaurant. Which is fine for special occasions. However if you want a decent curry and drinks with your mates there are better and cheaper options in town. The food was nice but not convinced worth the price. Maybe I just prefer a more simple curry. The service was amazing I have to say. Although not happy with service charged being added to the bill. If it had not been added we definitely would have left a bigger tip. It’s a nice setting felt modern and fresh. It wasn’t that busy when we went. There was lots of empty tables yet we got put on a table right next to another occupied table. Meaning we could hear each other’s conversations. Not a problem in a full restaurant but didn’t fell necessary at this time. Overall good food but pricey, lovely setting and brilliant service (Take service charge of the bill it’s annoying and you would get bigger tips). However I won’t be rushing back despite the positives mainly as it feels over priced.
Table of 11, very well looked after.
Food was tasty and all arrived together.
Staff were great and owners came round to check all was OK - thanks for looking after us!
Really good food served by friendly professional staff
Cracking little restaurant just off Uckfield high street . Staff very friendly and food exceptional. No complaints at all.Restaurant and bar area is much smaller than the website depicts but makes for a very cosy and intimate ambience.
Lovely place with lovely staff which couldn’t do enough. I only have two issues. The first was that the table was slightly too small and the second was I didn’t have cash and it didn’t offer a tip when paying with card so felt mean as the service was amazing.
Having been to India numerous times amiras kitchen is the most authentic Indian restaurant I have been to in years. Its small so booking is recommended
Ist time we visited
And although it was a long drive it was definatley worth the journey
Very fresh food and a restaurant which allows your own space around table
Good table service
Look forward to eating there again
