Here at Amuse we cook from the heart, sourcing outstanding regional ingredients always in season to ensure they are at their peek. Our style is modern Scottish with French notes, elegantly presented and packed full of natural flavours where the ingredients take centre stage. Our menus change with the seasons to celebrate the arrival of new produce.

We are small dedicated team working together to give you a memorable experience, whether it's a few classic cocktails perfectly made in The Snug, bespoke tasting menu in our private dining room or a long lazy Sunday lunch with the family.

    We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was overall excellent. The food delighted and surprised us. We will be back.

    The Sunday lunch was excellent as always. The staff are so pleasant and cannot do enough for you. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

    Our meal was well presented and tasty. Unfortunately, neither of our main courses (fillet steak) were hot enough. We informed our table staff who were otherwise excellent.

    Absolutely stunning food. The service was fantastic and the wine was excellent. We enjoyed the 6 of the best with wine pairing and we were not disappointed, absolute excellence.

    Excellent food and excellent value for a 3 course lunch. Be mindful of add on prices. Offered bread for the table but not advised it came with a £14 charge. Not the end of the world but in general staff not very forthcoming with information.

    Lovely night, good very good, £17 for one scallop over the top. Service great, quite noisy but would return only for special occasion. Are the prices a reflection on Kevin’s master chef appearance?

    Starter was lovely dressed crab, main course was seafood gratin nice but needed a carb accompaniment (rice or potato), dessert brownie and ice-cream was lovely. The menu states 3 courses for £35 however probably more than half the menu options carry a supplement. Final cost was roughly £65 per head which included 1 glass of wine so the actual food cost was nearer £52 for 3 courses. I wish restaurants would set their fixed prices such that there is no need for supplements or stop offering a fixed price.
