Here at Amuse we cook from the heart, sourcing outstanding regional ingredients always in season to ensure they are at their peek. Our style is modern Scottish with French notes, elegantly presented and packed full of natural flavours where the ingredients take centre stage. Our menus change with the seasons to celebrate the arrival of new produce.

We are small dedicated team working together to give you a memorable experience, whether it's a few classic cocktails perfectly made in The Snug, bespoke tasting menu in our private dining room or a long lazy Sunday lunch with the family.

    Food was well presented but average in taste. One of the dishes was over-salted, the monkfish and the side as well. Price for portions is not adequate. Waiter brought a filled wine glass, without serving the table. Furniture and the back side ambience with bright light and artificial plastic plants are not in line with the prices. Staff were smiley and served well, but the dress code is sad - not clean jackets, the barman’s thumb was covered in bandaids and gauze when serving a 16 gbp glass of champaign, brining the last portion of an open bottle. Basically, the price does not match the food, ambience and overall experience. If the prices were similar to the rest of Aberdeen experience, we could accept all these comments above.

    Food was good. Service very good. We ordered scallops and got hair in it, server apologized and changed food straight away. But didn’t remove from the check. No one made any complimentary glass of water for hair in the scallops. I understand probably this things happened in other cafe, but not in this high level restaurant. I mean it’s not necessary to give that dish for free, I didn’t expect that. But at least offer cup of coffee for that mistake would be appreciated. I have paid full check plus service charge (service charge I wanted to keep because staff was really nice and professional)

    We tried the six course tasting menu with the sommelier’s wine recommendations and it was outstanding!!! The service was spot on and the atmosphere quiet.

    As always Amuse on Saturday was excellent. The food was really good we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    We went out to celebrate my partners birthday and had a wonderful time and the food and service was fantastic. We had the Beef Tartare and Strozzapreti for our starters then we had Turbot and Monkfish for our mains and to finish we had the Amuse Kir Royal and Rice Pudding. We had 2 of the mock cocktails to drink the Feragaia and the Wild Eve. We found that the whole experience was memorable and every course was fantastic we will definitely be back.

    We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was overall excellent. The food delighted and surprised us. We will be back.
