AND Fish Kitchen + Bar
The food was really good! But the service was poorly. We waited more than half an hour between asking for the check until getting the change. During the dinner the waitress didn’t pay much attention to us.
We were here for a thanksgiving with another couple. Our server was excellent and the buffet selection was very nice with one exception. Being that it was a holiday we were expecting pie in the dessert selection but there was none. Desserts mediocre at best.
Overall a disappointing experience. Met friends from out of town for early Friday evening dinner. Even though on the beach there is zero view of ocean. Service very slow when restaurant was basically empty. Drinks empty for at least 10 min before waiter finally checked on us. Octopus lacking in flavor, my husband had the wagyu burger ($22) which was mediocre at best. Calamari and the hand cut fries were only things that stood out as “good”. Lighting is very bright...perfect to read a novel, but doesn’t make a very nice ambience. Highlight was the very pleasant hostess. We will not be returning.
had dinner with mom. i had an excellent corvina with cajun accoutrements, and mom had delicious broiled sea scallops on a bed of green lentils. the ambience is like an elementary school cafeteria. i expect to go back again sometime.
The seafood chowder was amazing. Tuesday night is Mojito night and the view of the trees is great. Price is a little steep for the portions.
Food was good, but atmosphere was sterile - lights were too bright and there was no privacy
disappointing menu with no local fish. Poke had no base and the tuna floated in soy says. Chowder was outstanding . and quite pricey
Every large and small detail handled for our group with professionalism and ease, very nicely prepared food, beautiful restaurant venue and complimentary valet parking.
Both servers and management exceeded our expectations.
The calamari did not taste fresh. It wss not tenderized properly and it was rubbery and there were not any tentacle pieces in the mix, only rings. They should have been served with an excellent marinara but were instead served with 2 lackluster sauces.
The server asked my opinion and she was quick to offer me another selection. I chose the lobster roll. Although the sandwich was tasty, there was a little too much mayo and price was not in line with the quality or the portion.
If you are at the beach and looking for a casual spot for a real food this would be a good choice. The remodel has left it with nothing to absorb sound so it’s loud and casual but food was very good as was the service!
Opted for a poolside table for our dinner and it was very nice place to eat our dinner as it was also close to beach. Kids had a lovely Wagua beef burger and my wife and fish. Nicely prepared and a great person named Curtis taking care of us.
My dinner at this restaurant was so enjoyable! This is a great place for those seeking an exquisite Florida seafood meal with great service.
Food was fresh and delicious and on top of our waiter Dwayne being so nice and welcoming. I went to bed dreaming about the food. I will be back.
Great experience - much better value than most spots on Las Olas. Hopefully will continue to get the word out for locals.
Great location, food was pretty good. Views and location are amazing
Absolutely loved this restaurant, loved the service, loved the food. Chef came out to check and see how we enjoyed food. I will definitely be back to this hotel and restaurant.
AND is not open for lunch even though it shows as open. We had to order from the patio lunch menu. Huge disappointment!
Would not recommend.
Staff was amazing. Food was good but way overpriced.
The quality and TASTE of the different food items for the mothers day brunch was excellent; not your boring old egg casseroles everyday items. Figs , Blood Oranges, Fresh bountiful seafood; all very delicious! and everyone was friendly and kind! The chef even came out to say hi and brought beautiful decorative cookies boxed with a bow for mom's; that Tasted even better than they looked!
High Energy......good food....seafood....Omelettes.....desserts......
Octopus appetizer was excellent. Service very good. Tuna appetizer and island stew was so spicy you cannot taste anything else. The lobster roll had too much mayo and filler. Wanted to like it but will not go back. Sorry it was disappointed. Seem to be just another hotel restaurant catering to a captive audience of hotel guests.
Limited menu. Small portions. Big price. Waiter was excellent!! No ambiance.
Very disappointing. Went with another couple as we share a birthday. I should have been wary of a hotel restaurant as most are mediocre. They were supposed to have good lobster rolls but at 7PM they were out of lobster. I figured I would just fall back to something that could not be screwed up but my medium rare cheeseburger was grey all the way thru. My replacement came as the other people were finishing. It took about ten minutes for our initial drinks order to come and the beer was flat. I cannot recommend this place.
Easter brunch was decent. Food flavorable. Lots to select from. Our server was overwhelmed. Table for two was tight. Loved the people watching. Number one complaint was that the tip was figured into the bill. That is fine but the signature slip had the gratuity line so.....we added 20% gratuity. Our server got the pre-figured gratuity plus our additional 20%. All because we didn’t look closely enough. She had a good day! It would have been nice if she had pointed it out. Live and learn.
This is our first time at this place and we were ready to have a great brunch however our experience was just average. The food was just ok. Needs to have more food stations and improve the quality. Service was great. No complains there. I would like to recommend this place but needs improving.
Nice service ! Great food !
The food was absolutely fantastic! It’s really sad that they have a cafeteria type atmosphere as a presentation for an exceptional menu!!
The service was less than okay, not sure if they were under staffed or if it was just the server
Overall I’m not to sure I’ll be back, there are so many very good restaurants in the vicinity that get it right on everything it’s hard to justify spending this kind of money for a sub par experience
I hope this exceptional chef finds the right venue for his talent!!
This is a new restaurant in Pompano Beach. Food was great, however thought the prices were high. This could be because it’s on the beach in the Marriott, making the prices touristy.
