Support Andrew Edmunds during COVID-19
A lovely time as usual. We were at the last dinner before shutting because of virus and the staff was cheerful as usual and all details of the meal were excellent.
I've be going to Andrew Edmunds for the better part of 25 years. Always good, always friendly. One of my favourite restaurants. I'm just not in town as often as I used to be.
Brilliant service, lovely ambience. Cosy without being too cramped or noisy. Food was tasty, ginger cake for dessert was amazing. Will be back!
Delicious meal, great atmosphere, and service the perfect balance of being friendly and attentive but not pushy.
I haven't been to Andrew Edmunds for a few years now & it was a good as ever.
This is a great little gem of a restaurant in soho
Slightly off. My halibut was undercooked and I had to send it back and then the waitress forgot my companion’s pudding order. It was all delicious though.
Excellent food as ever in relaxed surroundings. Good, well selected and fairly priced wine list. Fourth time of eating at Andrew Edmunds and always highly enjoyable. The wine prices in London seem to be getting ridiculous (which they now try to hide by serving 125ml or even 75ml measures), so it's good that some restaurants still believe fair marks up are the way to go. Good on Andrew Edmunds for being one of the best and most consistent restaurants we visit by a country mile.
Andrew Edmunds never disappoints me. Every time I come here, the menu is refreshed, the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. I love that there is nothing frivolous about the dishes, everything is substantial and simply impeccable.
Walked pass this place many times and it always looks so cosy and inviting. Wasn’t dissapointed. Nice concise seasonal menu
A really delightful evening at Andrew Edmunds. Delicious food and lovely service. Such a lovely setting as well.......
We had a 17.30 bkng on Saturday. I was v disappointed & miffed to learn that my husband & I could not eat 1 frm the pre theatre menu, 1 off the a la carte. Of course it was fine to charge £20 (as a “special” for the sole that I wanted as my main which was frm the pre theatre menu. 2 courses of which were £18. I also chose a starter that had been on the pre theatre menu. This therefore added £10 to our bill. Ridiculous. My husband didn’t fancy the sole, nor the lentils which were the only 2 choices of mains on the pre theatre. Our waitress was lovely. The food v good. Such a shame as I was SO lkng fwd to this. I worked next door when I was 16, 34 hrs ago! I’ve never experienced this rule before now... I don’t think we will return because of this. Veg is also charged extra...
Simply amazing! This was one of the best dining experiences my mother and I had in London. I cannot wait to come back again! Thank you :)
Such a charming little place. The service was perfect - enough attention but subtle, the wine and food were delicious. Generous portions- came away not too full but very satisfied. Really nice ambience. Will be returning very soon!
Food was lovely and a bit different, which was refreshing.
We had the artichokes, the toasts with roe and egg, shared the pie as main and apple crumble for dessert, and half a bottle of Chateau Carignan. Everything was delicious! The restaurant is super cosy and romantic, and the staff was very kind. Will definitely be back!
This is the second time we have been to this restaurant in the last six weeks and it was excellent again! We will be going again in the future.
Delicious food and fabulous wine. Intimate candle lit setting. Perfect atmosphere for old friends get together.
Excellent as always. Has been for 30 years. Fantastic food.
Great spot to add to your “go to” restaurants. Wine list v good and well priced.
Lovely independent restaurant, quaint, quiet, delicious food and good value for money. Greater selection of wines in the "affordable" bracket would be good. Probably the best gnocchi I've ever tasted.
Lovely atmosphere, with candlelight at every table, making the experience even more enjoyable with their rotating original menus and excellent staff service.. do expect to pay a bit more for this quality.
Very nice atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff, excellent food and wines. So refreshing to find such a gem of a place. We enjoyed a memorable evening.
Great food, good portions, very good value wine list. Charmingly 'rustic' decor, a reminder of why Londoners love the old Soho. Please Go!!
The food here is excellent and really well cooked. The ambience is great, a really friendly local food place. Totally recommend.
Excellent food in an atmospheric, if a little cosy, setting.
Tremendous wine list, best service I have had in London in a long time.
It’s a soho classic for a reason. Atmosphere, service, and cuisine are lovely.
Nice romantic French style bistrot but the staff far too haphazard , no goodbye , how was it , etc is there a manager ? Nice but unprofessional
Really enjoyable evening. Food was very good. Not rushed and plenty of time between courses. Only downside was the table was too small for 4 people. EG- we couldn’t have the wine bottle and water on the table when the food arrived.
A very pleasant establishment. A little quirky with great food. Thoroughly recommended.
Perfect service & food. Amazing place for a date.
Excellent food from a concise selection of dishes. Great service - attentive, friendly and discreet.
Absolutely amazing. The food, the wine it was just great! Special thanks to Andy. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed it a lot. Very hard to find a place like this in London. Very recommended.
Love this restaurant!! Perfect for celebrations or get togethers, food and wine is always amazing, service is always wonderful, staff are super friendly. A wonderful, laid back, intimate gem of a restaurant - you leave the hectic madness of Soho outside :)
Fantastic meal, lovely atmosphere, wonderful service! Highly recommend
This restaurant was a pleasant place to eat. Very relaxed. Nice ambience. Nothing fancy which includes the food. Wine was ok, service alright. It doesn't set the world on fire.
Poor food for a very expensive price. Service is not bad - however they do take a while to serve you. We sat by the bar where we could see plenty of dirty dishes inside it, phone ringing all the time and food was quite disappointing.
Andrew Edmund’s is always low-key, beautiful dining and our Valentine’s Day dinner did not disappoint. A rare find in today’s London scene of fast, modern experiences, this restaurant is the best of traditional eating out, old school, candlelit ambience and fine meals. Such a treat.
The only complaint is that you can find way better value for money at other classic restaurants in London.
The food was great same as overall experience but it’s not worth a Michelin star experience.
