Super Tuscan Tuesday is a great night! Delightful bottle of wine with an extremely tasty spicy meatball pizza! And it was highlighted by the outstanding service of Kenny!! He was extremely friendly, very polite and provided attentive service!! And it is so nice to see a waiter coming down to table level with his eyes and head as he squatted down to take our order. You can be very proud of this wonderful employee!!! And a waiter that replies to a customer "thank you" with "your welcome" or "it's my pleasure" is a sign of good manners and respect. Today, most young people wildly retort to a "thank you" with no courtesy, "no problem." Kenny is by far "A+!"
Very good food considering some left a 2 star review. Great service! Ricotta ravioli was excellent. Pizza was very good! Calamari excellent! A few were on the fence with the lasagna. Salads & desserts all excellent! Guest enjoyed the chicken Parmesan. The pasta with this was very good! Will definitely return!
Great place to eat and wonderful food. Our waitress was excellent. Very COVID-19 complaint.
Fabulous food, great atmosphere and always consistent
Exceptional in all regards.
Enjoyed. Food was very good
Food and service was great. Will definitely be going back soon.
Chick parmigiana was over cooked. The manager replaced it with another overcooked plate. We concluded they pre bought them frozen and it was a bad batch. The service and atmosphere was awesome though!
Excellent service and food. I highly recommend for all ocassions.
Server had little knowledge of menu. Had two dishes come out wrong and both times server blamed it on the kitchen. When there are food allergies this could have had a bad outcome. Management was on top of it once they realized there was a problem and they corrected the situation quickly.
A must visit restaurant in Pensacola. The italian wine list is extensive and covers most regions of Italy. The food is awesome and the service and energy provide a true New York vibe
Outstanding experience overall. We loved the ambience, although we were seated next to the exit door and a draft made us cold. Bread was very plain and didn't care for more than one piece. On the upside, though, our service was great and our server was very attentive to our needs, and made very good recommendations. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious and a generous amount. The champion of the night was the main course. I ordered the Wood-Fired Chicken Alla Boscaiola, which was fantastic! The chicken was succulent, well-seasoned, tender, and so easy to cut, while the mushrooms, gnocchi, and sauce were to die for! My wife had the Ravioli Alla Norcina and enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we had the Limoncello Cheesecake and it was a delightful way to end the night! For a special occasion and splurge, highly recommend!
The ambiance is nice and quiet. Some quiet music would've set the mood better. Excellent service and food for price.
Angelena’s was amazing! The Atmospher was great. We went for Valentine’s Day and it was so romantic. The staff are great and so nice! The food was out of this world! Me and my husband both said that it was the best Italian food that we have EVER had.
AMAZING food and wonderful service. Very romantic atmosphere.
Love this place. Always a go to for date night or family nights! Definitely a favorite.
Absolutely a great place to stop at. Food was fresh and the pasta was made daily. Always love fresh pasta, just gives a whole different taste. The bread was amazing along with the garlic olive oil. Be careful as it will fill you up before the main meal comes. Great service, great food and just a great feel to the place. We will definitely be returning. Also, ask for Maggie B, easy going and able to answer any questions you may have.
This was our first time having dinner at Angelena's. The food (Formaggi, Lobster Ravioli) and service was was wonderful. The prices are fairly high but not unreasonable given the quality of the food and service. I think it's a good "special occasion" restaurant. They do have a more reasonably priced lunch menu. We'll definitely be back!
Kenny was the BOMB!
The service was excellent but the food was trash. The chicken Parmigiano had no flavor what so ever. My meat and cheese tray had slimey meat. And my poor tiramisu tasted disgusting. Lady fingers should be soaked in espresso, they were dry as a bone. Then they drizzled some extremely bitter sauce all over it and completely killed it. For the price we paid, the food should have been immaculate!
Always a wonderful experience. Food and service are outstanding. Great New York style vibe, my favorite restaurant.
Pasta was fresh. Dinner was good, a bit expensive though. I wasn't impressed with the presentation of the food. I was expecting better considering the cost. Everything considered, I would not consider Angelena's 'upscale' dining.
Yet to disappoint
Simply Awesome
All in all a decent place. Cost point not really worth the mediocre food.
Kenny was a great server and we enjoyed his service and attention to detail
It was a perfect pick! Met up with a good friend. Enjoyed the tasting/pairing choice. It was a great value.
Bar service made up for the slow service at the dinner table. Food was good. Amount was a lil under expected for the value but I guess since it was restaurant weeks they weren't going to give us a more generous portions. But we are locals and we love the spot so overall we will def come - mainly for the bar for sure
We had a nice family night out. Tried one of their custom cocktails which was nice start. Waitress made a great suggestion for a wine to have with our meal (wine list was printed in font size 4👎). I had a special three course meal with chicken soup, fish special and tiramisu. My wife had lobster ravioli which she thought was wonderful. My 14-year-old son had chicken Parmesan (called something else but...). He asked me the next day when we would return, so that is a pretty strong statement as 14 year olds hate everything. Overall, we had a nice meal. A little pricier than I had in mind going in but this is the world today. So aside from a wine list font size great experience.
Have eaten there three times before and wasn't impressed. Thought I would give them one more try and liked it although the wine is overpriced.
Everything was great. Bill, our server, was fantastic!
Went during Pensacola's Restaurant Week & was expecting a better value for the price. Interesting that none of the offerings were on their regular menu. One option was quail, but they only provided half a bird, so not much of a meal overall.
Restaurant Week. always good to try the pre-fix menu
Great place to have a magnific meal. We really enjoyed the whole time there.
The service is friendly and quietly efficient. The atmosphere at the time I was there was quiet, allowing conversation at each table to be comfortable. The food was delicious, and well presented. It's not too formal, but still upscale, with the customer age range varied, which I deem as a plus. I will continue to go back.
Everything was perfect. From the food to the atmosphere, to the staff.
What a great experience! Angelinas was nothing short of perfection Saturday evening. Maggie our server was wonderful. Almost as if she read our minds with wine and food parings. Delightful personality. We began splitting the wood fired meatballs. Flavorful, rich tasty red sauce. We followed with Chef James signature farro salad. Very tasty, great flavors, and filling. I recommend splitting. Our main course was the ravioli alla norcina. A wonderful pasta dish with finely chopped Italian sausage and sweet potato. Our first three courses were paired with a nice light Italian red Maggie recommended. We had little room for dessert, but split the lemon cello cheesecake with a small shot of chilled lemon cello on the side to accompany. A perfect long overdue night out. Many thanks to Maggie, Chef James and Brooke!
Sit with Denise, take her word. Trust me. One of the best servers ever!!
Awesome environment in which to eat top notch food
Excellent experience, great waitress (Cera) and bartender (Kelly). Food was phenomenal, must try Italian place in Pensacola.
