Birthday celebration— had the best food and service. You can never go wrong there
Good food. Service was a bit inattentive. Long wait for main course and dessert.
Great food. Great service. What more do you need?!
Excellent food and service. Best Italian food in Los Angeles.
Nice to see this restaurant back in good form. It is one of our all time favorites. We had tried to dine outside when they set up outside on the side of the building but the bugs were ferocious. Missed the lasagna and the sea urchin pasta as well as the branzino. This restaurant is an LA gem and we are happy to support Gino and the crew.
Can't miss by eating here. Also, great wait staff.
Elizabeth was the best waiter!!
Every dish we had was absolutely fabulous. The food was as close to the meals we have enjoyed in Italy. We are looking forward to enjoying many more meals here, especially his meals that are all paired with appropriate wines.
We arrived excited to celebrate our anniversary and have a fancy Italian meal. We were greeted with stale bread and tasteless flatbread… no oil offered. Our waiter was fair, but seemed to be forcing and faking his friendliness.
We started with a $26 small portion of an arugula salad. Fair. We each had pasta. The lemon pasta was similar to that of ramen noodles with a cream sauce. The lasagne was dry and small portioned. We decided to give dessert a try… the flourless chocolate cake would possibly change our minds…. Not even close. It tasted two days old. The wine was great, though. Would not return to this once special restaurant.
Made a note we were there for our honeymoon, and we’re greeted at check in with two small glasses of champagne. Everyone was so nice and attentive through the entire meal. The food was absolutely delicious - caprese, pasta limone, bolognese, and flourless chocolate cake, along with a bottle of Rosé really capped off the entire meal. Bravo
It is disrespectful and inconsiderate of your patrons when you allow to have dogs inside the restaurant. It’s one thing you have them outdoors but inside? Seriously? You should be considerate of people who might have allergies who can have serious reactions. Think about your pet policies seriously!
I’m at your restaurant to enjoy the food and the atmosphere, paying top $$. Im not here to play with a dog nor smell one! Very disappointed and felt bad fo my friend, it was his first time and I don’t think he was impressed. What a terrible experience he had.
Delicious food and excellent service. Never disappointed when I eat here. An absolute pleasure all around. Outdoor seating was made more comfortable by an abundance of heat lamps. Love love love.
Amazing food as always. I had the beets and bursta salad plus the pumpkin ravioli delish! Incredible service Friendly and attentive. A must visit
Food was delicious but room was way too loud.
Excellent food and service.
Like eating in Italy!
Perfection from start to finish, everything was delicious!!! We have never been disappointed for the past 20+ years. Geno and staff our on their game.
They serve very good foods and recommend to everyone.
LA hotspot. Great Italian food, wine list and service. A must for all to go.
Delicious, as always. Loved the tagliolini limone and the norma pasta!
It was amazing from the appetizers to dessert. My favorite Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. The octopus was delicious and the pasta with lobster was spectacular.
Prosciutto & melon was so heavenly, we ordered a second.
Wait staff was attentive, bright & efficient. Loved our pregame lunch—perfect.
We had appetizers, pasta and desserts. The food was all very good, and the serving size was appropriate. The service was a little slow and inattentive. And our server was not very knowledgeable or helpful with the wine selections. We sat outside which was lovely except there was a fair amount of street noise.
We were greeted and seated right away. Then, we were left seated for a long long time. No one bothered to come and ask us for drinks, no menu provided for a good 15-20 minutes. All the waiters and bus boys were helping others customers who were seated after us. Thought about leaving at that time but valet parking was $9, didn't want to waste it. Although their service wasnt good, food were great. Will not return again.
Not as great as people think. We have a problem with Italian food in LA. Pasta al limonae is embarrassing
Excellent food and service, great ambiance on the patio in the back! My favorite place for lunch!
Still one of the very best restaurants in LA. Food was terrific, as usual, but service seemed stretched a little thin - good, but not quite as attentive as we've come to expect at Angelini.
Medi was one of the most incredible servers I have had the pleasure to experience in a long time. We will definitely return.
Terrible experience for our anniversary dinner. Have been to this restaurant in the past many years ago. Service was awful the waiter was condescending and made us feel very unwelcome. Start to finish terrible disappointing experience. The pizza was subpar crust felt like a flatbread tortilla of sorts. Also was not hot. Salad was wilted. Fish carpaccio was OK as it was the lasagna. Waiter hardly checked in with us mocked us numerous times made bad jokes. We had to ask someone else entirely for our check. Extremely disappointing experience. We have lived in LA for 30 years dine all over. I know good food as I am a cook myself and have a recipe blog. Very disappointed. Wish them all the best I hope that they continue to succeed but something seriously needs to change.
Everything was very mediocre…location of table, service and food. I don’t understand why this place is so popular. Count me out.
Best of all. A fav.
They have the best octopus salad
Some of the best Italian food in all of LA
Great food, AWSOME service.
Looking forward to veal Milanese, yum!
Amazing as always !!!
