Situated as the anchor restaurant of Autry Park, a 14-acre mixed-use Hanover development on Buffalo Bayou Park, Annabelle Brasserie will serve French cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week in a lively atmosphere with picturesque views.     I recommend Annabelle’s for any occasion that requires a little elevation, or a magic moment. It’s chic and pretty and feels like an upscale brasserie in Paris. We shared the oysters, steak frites, crème brûlée and champagne. It was all delicious. Service was outstanding.

    They have changed the menu since the last time I visited many months ago. Some of the dishes I liked have disappeared and the prices seemed to have increased significantly. I ordered the Branzino which was excellent, but my guests were not at all happy with the mussels. The grilled bread was stale. The music was too loud. (I do not know why restaurants in Houston see the need to play loud pop music to drown out civilised coversation. A real restaurant is not a discoteque.) The service was friendly and solicitous -- they comped us two deserts which were good -- but the cuisine leaves much to be desired and the prices are not justified by the quality of the dishes offered.

    The service was excellent and the drinks were on point. The presentation of the bread was fun to watch. The food was good, but not amazing. The fries with the steak frites was the best part of the meal. Crème brûlée was very good too.

    This was our 1st time at Annabelle Brasserie. The food and ambiance was fabulous. We received the check and our waiter brought the point of sale machine to our table. Our waiter Geyzer never mentioned that he had added $38 tip. My husband without look add an additional 20% tip. He didn't notice until the next morning that the waiter received close to an $80 tip. So disappointed waiter was not truthful. Dalia
