Very nice atmosphere and wonderful staff. However, slightly expensive but worth it.
Plenty of delicious food. Excellent service. the music selection- techno- was a bit loud for us. Great in hotel dining while we were staying there.
We were very happy to discover that the Heathrow airport hotel we were staying in had an indian restaurant in it. We were even happier when we tasted the food. It was excellent! The portions were a little smaller than we have had in other restaurants, and we wished we had ordered 3 main course dishes instead of 2 to share.
The only drawback was the music. It was very loud pulsating electronic music which we found very intrusive, hence the 1 star for ambiance.
Had a delicious lamb dish that really hit the spot! I believe it was called Lamb Rogan Josh. Very yummy!
I enjoyed my meal. Portion size was good and the food was tasty.
The waiter Hugo was very friendly and helpful.
Starter was good.
I found the main dish of lamb rogan josht to be very bland.
The ambiance in the restaurant does not have a feeling of quiet relaxing atmosphere, It was so loud at times i struggled to hear what my colleague was saying.
The table was far to small to accommodate the food we had ordered and we ended up in putting extra food on our plates.
The drinks (beer) was far too expensive nearly £5.00 for a small beer.
Overall i was not impressed by the restaurant and had it not been for the attentive service of Hugo, our waiter i would have refused to pay the service charge.
I shall not be recommending Annayu to any of my friends soon.
Good Indian meal but over priced.
Excellent and imaginative food with rather annoying musack
Waited 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order, also wanted to order more drinks but was told it’s impossible as the bar was too busy. Poor service.
Booked table but wasn’t ready when we arrived and had to stand around for about 10 mins.
Seemed like not enough waiting staff so service was slow and food came out in a messy order. Eg nan cane about 5 mins after food.
Overall was poor experience, food was nice but won’t recommend and visit again
We had an OK meal but not amazing. Service was friendly but meals were slow to arrive. Good if you're staying at the Radisson Blu and want something a little different.
The food was good, but it would have been better if our food arrived on time. The waitress whilst nice was scatty. She managed to get my order wrong so had to wait for my curry to be cooked again. At the same time my naan went stone cold. My partner did not like the butter chicken it didn't taste authentic.
Nice Ambience, food was good, seating arrangements are good.
This restaurant is located within the Radisson hotel at Heathrow airport. We stayed the night before flying to America and had a fabulous meal. This restaurant is modern but stylish, good service and a very good menu. The food is effectively upmarket Indian cuisine but with lots of different dishes to the normal selection as well as some traditional favourites. The chefs emphasis seems to be more on lovely subtle aromatic flavours rather than just hot and spicy which made a nice change. The was a good wine list as well. The food is a little pricy but then again you are effectively at the airport. I would certainly eat here again if staying at the airport.
The food was tasty but very small portions. Service was also good. Dinner plates were very small which looked like quarter plates which was shocking in a grand hotel. Also the cutlery was very basic and definitely not what you would expect in a hotel like Radisson Edwardian.
I was really disappointed with the ambience of the restaurant as it looked so bare and dull. No décor reflecting that it is an Indian restaurant although plenty of space for colourful display etc. There were pictures of flamingo's which was really odd ! instead something reflecting India in a modern way would have been more effective.
I found the food to be very bland. I have dinned at this restaurant a year prior and was hopeful of a changed or a fresher menu.
My request to add more spice to the dish did not happen. In fact I was later informed that it was not possible to add spice to it. This tells me that the food is perhaps already pre-packaged, heated, and served.
All in all a major dissappointment. This should be a class Indian Restaurant in a class Hotel (and the Hotel is) which is a real shame. If I were the Chef, I would take serious note!
Food was great and service was very friendly - Christina is an asset to the restaurant
Very good service. Excellent and tasty food. I would certainly dine there again
Food was very very good, but service very slow due to lack of staff, and hence the food arriving cold to the table. The Greek lady that served us was very sweet and helpful. The credit card machine was not working at end when it came to paying the bill. So all customers in our group had to march back and forth to main hotel reception where they accepted payment on one card. This was a huge inconvenience and a great disappointment and not a good way to end the evening!!!
the food taste is fine the ambiance is nice. but food is way pricey for 1 person and i was so dissapointed that my son didnt like the food and since the price is expensive for the one order of lamb.we were gonna take out since its paid but didnt allowed us. my son didnt barely touch it except the rice. dissapointed!!!!
Wonderful food in a really great restaurant. Bhaji basket amazing. Highly recommended.
The service was great, from the welcome and sitting,
The waiter Christine, offers one of the best services I've experience, friendly, energetic and helpful.
Food was served promptly, tasted good and the ambience was all right.
Definitely, will recommend
The food was tasty. Some of the dishes had the same sauce added to them. Disappointed as I have been there before. Maybe change of chef. Also wanted to have a sweet dish but they had eggs. I am allergic to eggs so could not have it. It was my 65 birthday. Maybe should have change of menu. Also not much variety if you are a vegetrian. That was in main menu.
Delicious food, prepared and presented imaginatively and unpretentiously. Far superior to standard Indian/Bengali cooking. Very highly recommended for all occasions.
Great food, nothing to complain about service was exceptional, only down side was the drinks are expensive.
The service and the restaurant decor was amazing. The food was okay.
Food was flavorful and considering the convenience of a hotel restaurant near Heathrow, it was satisfying.
Amazing ambience and nice little starters but had to send back half cooked starters as things were raw inside. Mains were good but the breads were just ok.. service by the staff was good as well.
A delightful surprise at the Radisson Blu near Heathrow. Lovely, attentive and helpful service. Wonderful, delicious and fresh Indian food: traditional but with creative flair. (The lentil potato cake appetizer as one example). Flexibility with spiciness. Charming atmosphere. Good wine list, too. (Loved the French Pinot Noir). Unexpectedly excellent.
Our waiter Christina was amazing. Very polite, profesional. She made us feel spacial.
The food was lovely but I felt it was slightly over priced for what it's worth. What made it special was the service - our waitress (Christina) was an amazing host.
Its really very poor quality of food and service, especially people from outside the hotel it not worth of visiting . Inside the hotel guests may be there is no other chance of using this in-house restaurant.
No proper response from the beginning of addressing in the front desk to billing. Starter came along with main course, drinks came came in the middle of main course. I don't understand it was not that much busy even though it was like that. Food quality was pathetic and my stomach got upset with that. Its not even worth of 1 star for the food quality.
Food was excellent, you could really taste the spices. Service was impeccable, really attentive. Atmosphere a bit dead in there, but since it is stuck in a hotel it is only going to get a certain amount of trade. A bit pricey, but to be expected with location and quality.
Staying at a nearby hotel for a business meeting we had an excellent evening meal here. The service was excellent and food very interesting and attention to detail on flavour was impressive. A very enjoyable evening.
Have been there 3 times now. Really good food. The fish tikka and the chicken pistaccio tikka are both wonderful and really worth ordering. The lamb biryani is also fantastic... and this is coming from someone who did not use to like this dish. Overall the food is some of the best I've ever had, including in India. The staff has always been attentive and eager to provide recommendations. I will definitely return.
The Restaurant is located in-hotel at the Heathrow Radisson Blu alongside the very popular Steak and Lobster. Being if of the spotlight, Annayu is expectedly less busy most of the time.
Our trip to the restaurant was in a Friday, in which the restaurant was looking quite dull and empty apart from one big group of people and a few other tables here and there. That said, as soon as the food started arriving, our hearts were stolen. Each dish has poignant, recognisable flavours and twists that sets Annayu apart from other restaurants serving Indian cuisine.
The presentation of the food could be improved majorly but, the taste is what really matters and this was perfectly grasped by Annayu.
The ambience, on the other hand, wasn't so good *at the start*. There was little music, not much noise and the staff did not seem overly joyful at our entrance. However, as dinner went on, the music got louder; the staff got more enthusiastic; and a sense of tranquility was built in to the place. Thank You Annayu.
It is my second time here, I love the food, outstanding service, relaxing and free parking available
Nice food and service was great. Christina helped to choose and we had a nice meal on NYE although we had to eat early as restaurant had to close by 1030! Once again, very pleasant experience.
Service could have been better but the restaurant was quite busy. Food was excellent, great choice for vegetarians too. Will definitely go back again.
Our first visit won't be the last - a great way to kick start a trip away. Our server, Christina, went the extra mile with sound advice and being there when needed. Our food choice, with Christina's guidance, was excellent and portion sizes just right.
