Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza - Pike Creek
Hockessin Montessori School fund raising function! Good times!
Delicious wings! Pizza is my favorite Wait staff are friendly and attentive
We always enjoy going to Anthony's. The pizza is the absolute best in Delaware. The service is good and wait staff attentive. The only drawback is the noise level.
Reservation for 6:30 arrived 6:25 waited until 7pm to be seated. The reservation didn’t do us any good. Everyone waiting(particularly walk ins) were seated before us
Service was not very attentive. People seated just after us received waters, and plates before we saw a waiter
Pizza and wings were incredible. Homemade meatballs too. It was busy but our server still made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely go back.
Made a reservation for 5:30 for a high top table when we got there her table was ready. Staff there are very inviting and friendly. Kudos to Michele at the bar and took care of us. Krista the manager came to our table to check in see how we were doing and if everything was OK which it was. The food is always great there but last night was exceptional. We Go there at least three times a month and I would tell Everyone to try out Anthony’s at Pike Creek if you’ve never been there. Great people and great food!😄
EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF
WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN
WAS TOLD BY THE RUDE HOSTESSES THEY ACTUALLY DON’T TAKE RESERVATIONS DO NOT SURE WHY THEY ARE ON OPEN TABLE
Bad service this particular night, although it usually is very good.
Tori was great!
Nice staff and the food was very good! We go to this restaurant maybe once a month and I like it a lot. Thank you
Anthony’s never disappoints! It’s my favorite place to relax after a crazy week.
Our go to restaurant. It’s always fresh and delicious! Their meatballs are the best!
Anthony’s is my go to whatever the occasion. It has s fun atmosphere and the food is delicious!
I always enjoy the wings at Anthony’s. The pizza is also great. Always a nice place to enjoy some good food.
Great atmosphere and our service and food were great too. Definitely coming back soon.
I had a very nice salad and Chicken sandwich. I The restaurant is loud, though.
We loved the food and the service was great! We really enjoyed our night out with the family.
Great place and food, but I am uncertain as to why you can make a reservation and them still make you wait.
The pizza and wings were amazing as usual and we will be back every chance we get. The only thing that was an issue was sitting beside the take out area and wait staff food pickup area. Not fun having loud talk behind your back and people lined up beside you. Next time we will just ask not to sit there. Still will continue to enjoy Anthony's!!!!
Girlfriends getting together to celebrate a birthday. Noise level was perfect. We could easily converse with each other.
I love the wings and the pizza. The service is pretty fast.
My first time there. I enjoyed it very much.
My husband really liked the wings. I adored the salad.
The overall experience was a good One.
We will be back!
By the way, Service was excellent!!
Anthony’s is my local favorite! There is always a good mix of people and the atmosphere is friendly. I have never had a bad meal at Anthonys It’s my happy Place!
Fun for our group. A couple of hiccups but would def go back.
Their iPad wasn’t working so our reservation didn’t go through and we had to wait 45 mins. Luckily there is a bar next door.
We used to love the pizza but I doubt I’ll return again. The noise was unbearable and the pizza worse than frozen pizza. First the pizza: I used to love the crust and it’s well done manner. Now it looked and tasted like a flat frozen crust from a supermarket. No flavor no light airiness, and burnt not well done. The sauce was still good but couldn’t rescue the horrid crust. Next the ambiance: it was always crowded and noisy, was recently expanded to twice the size. It was maybe 1/3 full but we couldn’t talk over the now echoing noise. They had a singer with a karaoke box who was determined to be louder than the crowd so each time the crowd would get louder he would get louder. Both lost to a gaggle of children who ran around screaming the entire length of our dinner. That was just too much. For the price I could have eaten and will eat better some place else.
The pizza was very good. The Italian salad was uninspired, small for the price, and the dressing very vinegary.
It was very loud, difficult to hear others in our party and I gave up talking to 2 people across the table...and we were in a corner of the room.
We will stick with occasional takeout. Pricey.
We were never seated. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed. We were happy we had reservations because the waiting area was filled. We found one of the hostesses who was walking around with a clipboard. We told her we had a reservation, and she explained that their iPad wasn’t working. They then added our names to the list with everyone else who was waiting. She said they’d seat us as soon as possible. But our reservation time came and went. There was no evidence of progress being made and the waiting area just got more and more crowded. There was no room at the bar. We gave up and left. We enjoyed a dinner elsewhere.
Great food, noisy environment, good service.
Anthony's has the best pizza around, regardless of which location you go to. It was our first time at this location, and we went there because it was the closest one to our hotel. We were glad we had reservations as there was a crowd when we walked in and when we left. Very good, fresh pizza, made "well done". The thing that puzzled us was that the folks there were ordering wings, pasta, salad, etc. Don't they know that this is the most excellent pizza?! To each their own, I guess.
Anthony's are the best wings I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked every time. The carmelized onion on top of them is the perfect combination. I usually finish with the arugula topped pizza, which is unique in my experience, and delicious.
Pre Thanksgiving family dinner
Always good. Happy Hour is a good deal too.
Awesome Grubb for our belly’s!
Very good but just a tiny bit off from other Anthony's Coal Fired locations I've been to. To me, the pizza was not as crispy as I'm used to and the crust was a tiny bit lacking in taste. Other than that, the wings, salad and meatballs were excellent.
Olivia the hostess was awesome! She greeted us smiling and quickly seated us knowing we had been on a long drive. Our server was also great! Thanks!
Great for the Kids & a NEW dining room really make it spacey. Love the sauce & burnt pizza!
