Wonderful food! I didn't see a pasta that I wanted so the waiter made a special one for me and it was delicious. highly recommend the chocolate fudge cake as well!!
Great local find for a weekend away in Bath. Generous portions of authentic Italian fare. Friendly service and good ambience.
Wonderful, simply prepared, down home Italian food. My fish was superbly cooked with simple olive oil drizzle. It was tasty and moist.
Good food and good service with a smile. We had a table for 10 and the service was excellent.
Restaurant was very quiet which didn’t worry us but overall it lacked atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Despite not advertising the fact there was a set menu which was excellent value.
Delicious food and a very entertaining waiter! Sadly very few other people due to the snow! I'd like to go back again on a busier evening.
My friend and I went for dinner here on one of the coldest evenings ever, or at least it certainly felt like it crossing over the bridge! Our welcome, however, was exceedingly warm and we soon forgot the chill outside. The food here is well-cooked and tasty at a reasonable price - what more do you want on a wintery February evening? The service was charming and unobstrusive. I shall return if I'm ever back in Bath.
Excellent food and great service highly recommended.
Lovely food and we had a table by the fire. The staff and owner we very friendly and had us all singing at on point of the evening. Very enjoyable evening.
We where made to feel special and they service was top notch
Great place to chill and have a lovely Italian meal. Food is really amazing tasty and good value. Quaint little restaurant with wonderful service and wine. You feel welcomed and never rushed. Menu has a a wide range beyond pizza and pasta
First time visiting bath, choose the Antica from trip advisor and reviews. Could not fault the welcome we got, felt welcome and relaxed one of the happiest restaurant we’ve been to. The food was fabulous, had a amazing time.
Another fantastic evening enjoyed by all with amazing food and service! Highly recommended
Had a lovely evening in this fun and lively restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Thoroughly recommend although was a bit cold in the restaurant and freezing in the toilets!
4 blokes out celebrating a 60th & 50th, made to feel very welcome, great food and wine. Possibly a little warm next to the fire but all round great experience
Having never been to Bath, we entered the lottery of online reviews and recommendations. Antica popped up on a site and I booked as my wife and I both love Italian, Mediterranean cuisine. Little did I know how perfect this choice would become.
On arrival you are greeted attentively and every request was accommodated if possible. There is a pleasant hum of noise of clinking glasses and cozy conversation. The menu and specials appeared to be authentic and there was a wide variety of choice, not too much it was just right.
The service was very good and attentive; one thing that really annoys me in a restaurant is being rushed to finish so they can turn the table for more diners. The pace of delivery was absolutely perfect. Now the food. Having booked the restaurant on a whim and taking a chance I was not disappointed at all. The food was nothing short of spectacular!!! I would personally recommend the Lobster Ravioli (if they have it on - It was on the specials board) and the osso bucco milanese. I have eaten this many times and I can honestly say that was by far the best. The saffron risotto that accompanied was also cooked to perfection. My wife's meal of mushrooms to start and pork medallions was also superb.
My wife and I rarely get time alone together and the ambiance, service and quality of food and drink made this a very special evening indeed.
This is now our first call when know we will be in Bath for the evening.
Super service, food, atmosphere every time we visit! Now having been here at least 8 times in less than 3 months living in Bath, and have taken all our visitors here too.
Lobster Ravioli as another review said was delicious, as always the risotto and Gamberoni pasta, pork dishes, fish is cooked to perfection and very nice red wine from Sardinia.
Our last Open Table booking did not go through, so not sure if there is a bit of a glitch there?
lovely meal, good service, unfortunately where we Sat was very cold, sit near the fire! X
My friend and I had a great evening. Really good service, ambience and menu choices.
Our waiters were pleasant, attentive and responsive to us.
Would definitely recommend.
Phenomenal service. Absolutely delicious food.
Booked here for a family double birthday whilst visiting Bath. Had a great welcome. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Great evening.
Excellent anniversary meal - really nice staff, great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Really special to eat here, caring efficient service, main man full of Italian character! Even sings like Pavarotti! and still keeping an eye on customer service. Food a treat, look out for live music nights. Thank you!
Perfect, came here for my birthday booked by my girlfriend and the food was fabulous. I had mussels for starter and pork belly for mains, which was a special, both cooked to perfection. The only slight hiccup was that I had the cheese board which had enough cheese but no indication to what was what, and not really enough crackers or spreads, but I really don’t think that was enough to affect the feelings of the restraint or the night itself. Very pleased thank you
Went with family for an evening meal. Got good food and great service!
It was fortunate we arrived early as although having booked and received a confirmation on arrival the booking had not been recorded.
They find a table for us, but we would have been very annoyed if they didn't as we were celebrating a birthday.
The food was good but trying to get the took a long time.
Skip it! Go somewhere else like Bill's. This place didn't even acknowledge my reservation until I showed them on Open Table, then told to wait at least 30 minutes after confirming my booking.
We made a reservation through OT following the positive reviews. The environment is really cosy, with a nice decoration. However, whenever someone would go through the toilets' door, a strong fungus smell would enter the whole room and persist for a few minutes
The welcoming service was good, but in general we were not that happy with the rest, as it was really slow. Clearly our order was delayed due to some confusion, which we understand and can cope with on a relaxed Saturday night out, but needs to be accounted for particularly when the room is not that big, and with a reservation we expect a more prompt service. The food was good, but not particularly spectacular, though, which overall I found overpriced.
