Antica Pulteney Bridge Restaurant
Amazing fresh pasta, all food tasted amazing, great friendly service.
A great venue next to the famous Pulteney Bridge.
Great menu with excellent service and staff with a great sense of humour. My type of place.
Very nice surprise. Simple restaurant with very good food. kind service of the owner of the restaurant. Fair place at fair prices.
Many choices from an authentic Italian menu. Every dish selected by our party was delicious. The service was terrific and so personal. I recommend it highly.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. The wine which our waitress recommended was really nice and reasonably priced and service overall was great. It was lively with all tables filled several times over but was a bit loud for general conversation. A sing song to ‘just one cornetto’ at the end of the meal rounded the evening off nicely!
We had 3 courses each and they were amazing. The steak and lamb shank were awesome and the staff where so friendly really made you feel welcome. Only thing I would say that instead of chart music they could play authentic Italian music or ambience music this to me would set a better mood.
We very much enjoyed our evening. Atmosphere friendly and good fun. Food very tasty.
Excellent Italian food in an unexpected place.
The staff was incredibly friendly and their recommendations were spot on. Had a terrific experience.
Food was delicious and the service was great- went out of their way to make everyone comfortable and create a fun atmosphere. Friend has an onion allergy and they were very careful to make sure she got an onion free option.
A group of 7 friends had a lovely time here on 31st August. Definitely will be re-visiting this restaurant more than a few times in the future.
We enjoyed the food but wished we had ordered vegetables to supplement the main course. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Simple great tasting Italian food, without the pretentious plate art.
Told we had not booked in an aggressive manner. Only relented after OpenTable app used to confirm booking. Waitress dropped napkin on the floor and instead of replacing just placed it in table....mediocre food
Went for an anniversary meal, was lovely. Fantastic menu, friendly staff. Very good night out.
Disappointing. The reviews I had seen promised rather more. The chicken suggestion du jour was unexceptional.
Busy restaurant even on a Sunday evening but the staff kept on top of things and the service and attention was good. The impromptu singing of well known Italian songs added to the enjoyment.
Great location minutes from the centre of Bath, good menu selection and attentive staff. Great cooking and presentation.
Had a very enjoyable meal with decent food and very friendly service for graduation meal. Busy night but service still very good
Very disappointing, especially the pizza (doughy crust, soggy). Not clear why it has good reviews.
Fantastic evening at the Antica. Glorija and Antonio, owners, have done a great job developing Restaurant. Sea Bass was excellent.
This was the second time we have been to this restaurant the first time as a couple the second with friends and it did not disappoint our friends were impressed by the food and location, the restaurant was air conditioned which was needed in the extreme hot weather we are experiencing, the service was very efficient and the food was very good again, I would recommend this restaurant, we generally book chain restaurants and wanted a change, we will be back.
Great atmosphere provided by genuine italian waiters, the landlord even came out to greet us personally.
The food was amazing, we opted for a filet steak with a Sicilian vino d’avola and were not disappointed!
We were a group of 6 with 2 children (12 & 9 years old), who had pizzas (huge) with a dogggie box as they couldn’t finish them on the night.
Would definitely recommend a visit and would go back.
Really tasty food, wonderful welcoming staff and as we had booked, were given a super table in the window opposed to further in the restaurant of which those tables were given to people who walked in off the street.
One of the special starters that day were different types of bruschetta and we were able to mix two types to share between my daughter and myself. The risotto I had was flavoursome and my daughter enjoyed the steak salad.
If we go back to Bath again, we shall book our table through you at Antica. Thank you.
Great food, family friendly, and cuddly staff.
Absolute superb choice for our evening meal. Excellent service and food and very good value for money!
Look forward to returning soon! 👌🏽
Really nice food, superb service and a great authentic Italian atmosphere. What more could you want?
Very good food I can recommend their pork medallion dish. Good view. Friendly service.
My wife and I dined here on a quiet Tuesday night, although quiet atmosphere was fine, food was very good and the staff friendly and attentive. Next time we visit Bath would dine here again.
Hot day, restaurant was hot and crowded. Little space between tables. Service was slow. Food was tasty.
We were travelling through Bath and were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. I am Italian and am always skeptical of finding 'real" Italian food when travelling. We liked the great location and decided to try it. I was totally blown away at the quality of the food and the authenticity of the preparation. I would highly recommend the Osso Buco. It was just delicious.
I also enjoyed the conversations with the manager and owner, in Italian, and finding out how they came to Bath.
If you are interested in AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS Italian meals as well as a wonderful and friendly ambiance, I would highly recommend this restaurant. If we ever come back to Bath (we live in the US) we will definitely return.
Excellent location, service and food. Good to be able to make a reservation on line well in advance to date. This was a friends get together after a decade, so nice not to be rushed.
Lovely food and great service, value for money and close to the centre of Bath.
My wife and I dined on Friday evening, having booked via opentable, we were shown to a nice table in front of an open fire, the restaurant was busy but not too noisy and the waiting staff were attentive, we didn't have to wait too long for anything, the meal was very good and the price was to be expected for a Tourist Town.
Brilliant service, friendly staff and a fabulous meal - the Cioppino is to die for!!!
Although we were in Bath for 2 nights, this experience was so good that we made a reservation for the second night!
Would recommend to anyone and we shall definitely return when next visiting Bath
Lovely food, good service, would always come back
Wonderful food! I didn't see a pasta that I wanted so the waiter made a special one for me and it was delicious. highly recommend the chocolate fudge cake as well!!
Great local find for a weekend away in Bath. Generous portions of authentic Italian fare. Friendly service and good ambience.
Wonderful, simply prepared, down home Italian food. My fish was superbly cooked with simple olive oil drizzle. It was tasty and moist.
Good food and good service with a smile. We had a table for 10 and the service was excellent.
