Antica Pulteney Bridge Restaurant
We arrived ten minutes early so were happy to wait but were left outside the restaurant for half an hour. Food was ok but nothing special, service was unfriendly and we felt rushed to leave. Better restaurants nearby.
Couldn’t have asked for better service and food was delicious!
I really enjoyed this, an authentic Italian experience.
Very welcoming, great menu with lots of choice, had a salad - full of goats cheese and everything else
staff were very attentive, deserts were lovely
Such a find! An authentic Italian restaurant with food to die for. It isn't cheap but the food and portion size were exceptional. We had a very special evening and would like to thank all of the staff who made it memorable and lovely!
Lovely food especially starters and mains. Desserts a little less choice but overall a really nice meal with friendly and attentive service.
Great family lunch, good mix of pasta and pizza. Very friendly owner.
It was a lovely resturant situated by the Poultney Bridge.
Have been here several tomes same Great food, great service, good price.
The food was delicious and when the staff heard that it was my wife's birthday coming up they offered to bring out some complimentary ice cream to celebrate. Also my epileptic wife suffered a seizure and the staff reacted calmly and quickly. We were very impressed. Would highly recommend.
Unbelievable food!! Great service and brilliant atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough!!
Please keep the double door shut...there is no point having a double entrance if you leave the outside door wide open! The cold blast hits the diners, especially the ones sitting at the table perched right in front of the door!
Perfect location for exploring Bath and for the rugby ground. Service is very good, food is very good. I think furniture, layout and decoration in need of some modernisation but all of us had a good reasonably priced meal
Lovely setting, jealous of the couple sat by the fire! Really nice meal. Apollo antica could definitely do with some roasted peppers but overall very tasty.
Very attentive staff, very friendly. Great food, service prompt.
What more do you want?
Great food and service
We had a lovely waitress, but the food was distinctly average and the ambiance was loud and hot.
Booked a table but it was a quiet (and wet!) Tuesday night so not busy. Nevertheless a pleasant atmosphere and a warm welcome. A large serving of braesaola carpaccio and a tasty stuffed pepper got us off to a good start and the fish for main course was well presented and cooked just right and very tasty. The bottle of Gavi white was very good value.
Overall a pleasant meal and a nice, friendly place with farewell limoncello on the house to see us on our way.
We were visiting my daughter at university to celebrate her birthday. The staff were extremely accommodating and so friendly. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Would definitely return.
The issue here was we were totally late on getting seated and served which ruined our plans for the evening .
Food was tasty , they compensated with dessert but not really the point
Pizza was very tasty. Staff very friendly lovely atmosphere 😀
Friendly staff and the food was very nice with a great Italian vibe about it would definitely go back if we lived in Bath
Lovely food in a homely setting with great ambience and engaging staff.
A nice restaurant - honest Italian with friendly service. Would return.
Great food, lovely service and overall a very nice evening had.
Food was tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is well placed near the centre of Bath. It's a bit pricy but similar to other restaurants in the area.
Fantastic staff & good host with bouts of singing thrown in with good food.
The food is fair, nothing extraordinary and quite basic tastes as there is far too much cheese in the dish (we took a pizza and melanza parmigiana where it was difficult to find an eggplant) the pizza dough is good.
First impressions are it’s dated and at the time we arrived was full of elderly clientele.......don’t judge a book by its cover.
Amazing food, some of the best Italian food I’ve had in the uk. Fantastic, friendly, attentive and informative staff. Reasonably priced.
A must if you want quality Italian food and service.
Really nice dinner in Antica. Would have enjoyed the evening more if seated at a different table.
We dropped in on the off chance and was welcomed and seated in the window. Service was superb and food great. Can't wait to go back.
A lovely authentic Italian restaurant vibrant great food & great service
Beautiful dinner in a vibrant restaurant. Service was excellent and I can't wait to revisit!
This was such a good find!! exactly what we were looking for, a nice, casual restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were great and happy, made such a good dining experience. The food was delightful and they cater to dietary requirements which also shows how fresh the food is made. The portion sizes are great. Honestly had such a good dinner - we booked to go back the next evening! Thanks for a great dining experience
Lovely relaxed place to eat. The food was really nice and the staff attentive.
Wow!! What a great find
From start to finish this was a great meal!
Great service and amazing food 👍👍
Thanks for a brilliant evening
We had a lovely lunch here, and plan to return for an evening meal. The fresh pasta, with the salmon special was delicious, and the staff very friendly and attentive
The restaurant interior was welcoming and staff were friendly, however they weren't very attentive. The food was good although I was expecting more given the price
Rude waitress and left before ordering. Went to Joya instead which was incredible!
Great food and very accommodating friendly staff, helped to make for an excellent evening out.
