Antonio's Cucina Italiana
Antonio's serves up fresh & tasty dishes from both northern and southern Italy. While dining you're surrounded by 18th century prints of Italian Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, and authentic Italian music serenades you in the background. Located on historic Beacon Hill, across from Mass General Hospital, Liberty Hotel, and Wyndham Hotel. Serving Lunches $11.00 and under and diner $23.00 and under. Antonio's is a great neighborhood destination. The Boston Globe calls Antonio's "A treasure for anyone who happens upon it."

Antonio's is a neighborhood place with simple typical Italian specialties, all prepared well - and HUGE portions at reasonable prices. I'll be enjoying my swordfish pasta for days :)
Love it here. Amazing food and fun staff
Tasty meal. Hot and delish. Nice place as expected.
The older gentleman we had for our waiter was outstanding. Attentive, courteous and fun. Made the whole experience that much better
Not much ambience, but very good food at a decent price. Wish i had caught our server's name - she was great. She asked if we were going to an event at the Garden (we were) so she made sure there were no delays. Plan ahead though - we did an early dinner to make sure we didn't miss the show opening.
I've been here a dozen times over the years. I keep going back - tasty food, and lots of it.
Worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Boston - food
Classic neighborhood Italian. Good service with local character.
I’ll put up with the tight low-rent ambience, for their food any day. This is the real deal. Great service, excellent food. The Bruscheta was amazing. Don’t miss it. The red sauce was fresh and flavorful, seafood stew was excellent, as was the cannelloni.
The food and service were both fantastic. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Our waitress was excellent. Food was out quickly.
Excellent Italian food for a reasonable price. We had a great time!
La comida mala
Classic homemade Italian. We had a party of 6, with a reservation. Our table was ready early. Dinner was excellent! We had a variety of items between the 6 of us. Everyone loved their entree. Portions were huge and very well priced. Great find! Would go again next time we are in Boston!
Would not go back.
Have been here many times. Never been disappointed. Service great.
When we sat down the table was set on a dirty table cloth. That was the sign that we should have left. The prosciutto tomato and mozzarella appetizers were acceptable. The shrimp cocktail appeared to be shrimp used also for scampi in size and not worth the price. The main courses were terrible. The marinara used on the pastas tasted like tomato paste with no garlic, oregano, or spices. The gnocchi al forno was no better than chef boyardee in flavor profile. The linguini with meatballs used the same bland marinara. The meatballs were adequate. I booked the restaurant based on proximity to our hotel. That was a big mistake with so many good Italian restaurants just ten minutes away. Absolute rip off for the price.
Great casual Italian…relax and enjoy a delish meal
Easy to get to. Service was good. Food was delicious and served piping hot. Good crowd. Fast. Enjoyed our time there!
The food was good but not their usual great - first time I ever felt like that but it can’t always be a 10/10 can it? The ambiance was nice and the noise level was low, but our waitress was cranky, which made us feel weird :(
Just amazing dinner
One of the best meals I've had in years! Amazing service, lovely people and incredible food!
Creative food, very fresh!
A great italian food place with excellent food and lovely staff. A local neighborhood favorite. Not fancy or elegant but great basics. I go there often and love it.
Grand marnier shrimp is incredible. Love the stuffed calamari. Had veal parm and it was very good. Big portions and reasonably priced. Small restaurant that is easy walk to Boston Garden.
Nice clean food. Service was great. Quick and easy. We were going to the Bruins game so we were in a rush. I would eat there again.
Small and unpretentious, Antonio's was a delight. The staff was very attentive, discussing menu choices with us, and carefully seeing to our needs. We each had one of the specials and they were excellent - Mussels & Shrimp Over Linguine for me and Chicken Piccata for my wife.
It was loud because we sat outside & there were lots of rescue vehicles at 6:00pm on Saturday night!
The waiter was hilarious and so personable. My mom has a metric ton of allergies and he was patient, courteous, and genuinely took care to ensure she didn’t have any issue. The food absolutely slapped too.
Delicious authentic food at a good price. The garlic bread was great. I absolutely loved the chicken parm. Some staff weren’t wearing masks correctly.
Evelyn was an amazing server, made me feel at home during tough visits to MassGeneral Hospital. The food was perfect, along with the prices. Thank you so much!!
We aren't in Boston very often, but try to eat an Antonio's when we are. Not a fancy place, but friendly, good service and excellent food.
This place is definitely worth visiting especially if the owner is there to converse with. However, our last visit, we were essentially rushed out by the waiter serving us who gave us few time to make food selections and popped the bill on the table before we could even get a second round of drinks. He was very brooding and patronizing. Other than that, excellent food and amazing family business.
This restaurant is as good as any in Boston’s North End only it’s not in the North End. We had our first dinner at Antonio’s 25 years ago when I first met my wife, it was great to come back to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We were treated like gold and the food is authentic and absolutely delicious!
We are already trying to figure out when we can go again. Both my wife and me have previously worked in the restaurant business, in high end establishments for years and we know a winner when we see one. Go check out Antonio’s and I promise you will agree with this review. They made our 25th Anniversary extra special . Thank- you!
I'm surprised there are so many positive reviews here. My family was disappointed with this place. The food was not tasty, but there was a lot of it. I have been to Italy and often had dinner at Italian restaurants in the USA. Food in Antonios and authentic Italian cuisine are two different things. I do not recommend this place to visit.
Antonio’s was fabulous!! The service was fast and the restaurant was clean and semi quiet (for the city). Lovely local Beacon Hill place!
We got the chicken parm and shrimp fra diavolo with linguine and it was to die for!!! Soooo good, highly recommend. We also got the house Cabernet, and it was great.
We will be back!
The food was good and the waiter very friendly and efficient. The outdoor seating was to close though. Definitely not 6 ft apart.
Average food. Not sure I would go back, but wouldn’t be the end of the world if I had to.
With so many great Italian restaurants in Boston, why waste a dining experience on a place that is just okay? Only possible reason is to get reasonably priced pasta served hot and on the bland side.
Love it here, food outstanding🍀
We always enjoy dining at Antonio's when we come to Boston, especially after visits to MGH Hospital. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful.
